Steaks & Stakes at the Meadowlands Racetrack

Racing and entertainment at the Meadowlands Racetrack continues this upcoming weekend. Live racing happens every Friday and Saturday with 6:20pm post time. The Saturday, May 11th race card features New Jersey Sire Stakes action – the second leg for 3-year-old pacers and the first leg for 3-year-old trotters.  This Saturday’s event is the second annual Steaks & Stakes.

Cooks can register to compete in two ribeye steak cook-offs plus bonus hotdog and cocktail categories. Those interested in competing still have time to register here.

This fun night also includes great local food trucks including the Mozzarella God, Freakin Empanadas, Eat My Balls, Antojitos de Mi Tierra, Uncle Bob’s Kettle Corn, Highland Bites, Bitch’n Bacon, and Clydes Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream.

In addition to eating some delicious food, racetrack goers can enjoy music by DJ ALX and enter to win a 3-night stay at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas and Rolling Stones concert tickets. Drawings for these prizes will take place at 7:30pm and 8:30pm.
