Nominating 2YOs to Meadowlands 2027 Early Closers and Stallions for Foals of 2026
ECP Payments 2027 – Coming February 2027
DUE BY FEBRUARY 15: Any horse by a sire who is listed as eligible MUST make a one-time $400 Meadowlands EC Participation payment by February 15, 2027 to gain the option of nominating to Meadowlands 2YO Early Closers for the 2027 season and continuing for the life of the horse. Any horse from a stallion that is not farm sponsored must pay the full $600.
Only those 2-year-olds who have made the aforementioned participation payment by February 15, 2027 will be permitted to race in the 2YO baby races and be eligible for nomination to Meadowlands Early Closers in subsequent seasons for life of the horse.
The entire series of nominating and sustaining payments must then be made for the horse to be eligible to race in the chosen races.
Nomination and sustaining payments on Meadowlands Early Closers for 2YOs will be pushed back to begin on March 15 and adjusted accordingly.
