Live horse racing returns to the Meadowlands Racetrack on Friday, September 1^st and runs through Saturday, September 9^th with a 6:20pm post time. The September meet is highlighted by the NJ Classic Series.

Saturday, September 2^nd  is a visit from the Mini Ponies! Fans can meet mini ponies Odin, Solstice, Stormy and Angel in the Backyard and then watch them race the track in a fun charity race.  The four competing drivers will race for donations to their favorite charity.  Event details can be found here

On September 9 it is the track’s first Stake and Steaks night. Teams compete in two steak cook-off categories plus bonus bacon and margarita categories. This first-time event is run by the Steak Cookoff Association, “building the sport of steak cook-offs!” Those interested in competing can register here
