Meadowlands Racetrack’s May Event Calendar

Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment’s Championship Meet is jam packed with great racing and onsite events. Live racing takes place every Friday and Saturday night with a 6:20pm post time.

Every live race night fans can enter Horseplay. Pick up a free horse at the promotions table and throw the horse into the car for a chance to win $100 and an entry into the Friday, August 5^th drawing for a brand new 2022 Toyota Corolla.

This Saturday, May 14^th, nine charities are participating in the 3^rd annual Charity Handicapping Contest with $14,500 available in donations.  The Horse Park of New Jersey at Stone Tavern, Act Now Foundation, North Jersey Friendship House, Wayne Pal, Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Hunterdon County, Homeless Animal Adoption League, CBH Care, Horse Rescue United and the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of New Jersey are all bringing large groups of family, co-workers and friends to celebrate the night.

On Saturday May 21^st, the beer will flow at the Meadowlands Beer Fest.  Doors open for VIP ($65) at 4:30 pm with General Admission ($45 in advance or $50 at the door) at 5:30 pm; beer will be poured until 9:30pm. Fest-goers will experience over 60 breweries and cideries including local NJ favorites. Plus fans can enjoy live harness racing, music and food plus watch and wager on the Preakness Stakes. Sports memorabilia, summer swag and a trip to Hawaii are up for grabs on May 28^th in the Summer Fun Drawings. Racetrack guests can enter to win jerseys and signed memorabilia from local teams including the NY Yankees, NY Mets, the New York football Giants, NY Jets, NY Rangers and more.  An outdoor pizza oven, cooler and outdoor fire pits furnished by Northern Eagle Beverage are other cool prizes.  The grand prize drawing for one lucky fan is a trip for four to Hawaii for eight days and events nights with an airline travel stipend.
