Mark your calendars for an exciting June at the Meadowlands Racetrack

The fun keeps rolling at the Meadowlands Racetrack in June with a fun-filled promotions schedule. Live racing takes place every Friday and Saturday night, with a 6:20 p.m. post time.

Each live race night, fans can enter Horseplay. Pick up a free horse at the promotions table and throw the horse into the car for a chance to win $100 and an entry into the Friday, August 1^st, drawing for a brand new 2025 Toyota GR86.

The annual Meadowlands Racetrack Beerfest takes place on Saturday, June 7^th. Doors open for VIP admission at 4:00 pm, with General Admission at 5:00 pm, and beer is poured until 9:00 pm. Saturday, June 14, is the return of the track’s famous Wiener Dog Derby. This family-friendly event features dachshunds racing at the track between live harness racing. This year, eighty doggy contestants will compete in eight heats at 6 p.m. with the Wiener Dog Final on the track at 9:25 pm. Admission and parking are free.

The track’s sixth handicapping contest of the year takes place on Friday, June 20. There is no entry fee (a $100 live money bankroll is required) for players, and the prize pool, guaranteed at $1,000 and funded by the track, will be paid out to the top four finishers. Closing out the month on Saturday, June 28^th, the vino will flow for the Meadowlands Wine Festival.  Doors open for VIP Admission ($70) at 4:00 pm, General Admission ($45 in advance or $50 at the door) at 5:00 pm, and wine is poured until 9:00 pm. Fest-goers will experience an evening of great wines from around the world, live harness racing, music, and food. The racetrack’s rooftop Terrace, with jaw-dropping views of the New York City skyline, is open every live race night, weather permitting. Guests can enjoy the DJ, great cocktails, and items from the rooftop grill while watching the on-track race action.
