April Happenings at the Meadowlands Racetrack

The Meadowlands Racetrack has an event-filled April in addition to racing that takes place every Friday and Saturday night with a 6:20 pm post.

The NCAA Basketball Tournament concludes with the Final Four on Saturday, April 5 and the Championship game on Monday, April 7.– The FanDuel Sportsbook at Meadowlands Racetrack is the perfect spot to catch every play.  Enjoy the thrilling games on multiple HD TVs and make wagers effortlessly with various self-service and teller-operated machines.

On April 12th, UFC fans can watch and wager on UFC 314. The Gallery will be open for the main card at 10 pm, featuring the key match between Volkanovski and Lopes for the World Featherweight Championship. The $1K Handicapping Contest takes place on April 19. There is no entry fee (a $100 live money bankroll is required) for players, and the prize pool, guaranteed at $1,000 and funded by the Meadowlands Racetrack, will be paid out to the top four finishers. The top two finishers will be eligible to play in the $10,000 tournament on December 13, with a total of 20 players. Also, on Saturday, April 19, is Executive Chef Chris Burnett’s Steakhouse Dinner. This four-course menu allows diners to choose from a selection of dishes:

• Soup or Salad with a glass of Champagne (choice of 1): French Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque, or Caesar Salad
• Appetizer (Choice of 1): Crab Cake, Shrimp Cocktail, or Caprese Stack
• Main (Choice of 1): 12oz Strip Steak, 8oz Filet, 16oz Ribeye, or 24oz Porterhouse
• Dessert: Cheesecake with fresh fruit

This decadent $100 (plus tax and gratuity) steakhouse menu includes a live racing program and a $10 betting voucher. Reservations can be made by calling 201-The Big M.

The track closes out the month with the finest prime rib, hand-carved and served au jus, at the Meadowlands’ special Prime Rib Buffet on Saturday, April 26^th. The $59.95 (plus tax and gratuity) menu is a culinary journey, featuring a seafood salad, stuffed shells, fried calamari, and pan-seared cod with white wine.
