Come out for a Cluckin’ Good Time at the Meadowlands this Saturday

This Saturday, July 25^th, dive into the excitement of the Meadowlands Racetrack’s Chicken Runs! In this fan-favorite event, participants don inflatable chicken and rooster costumes and race to the finish line.

Whether you’re there to cheer on your favorite fowl or soak in the electrifying vibes, the Chicken Runs at Meadowlands Racetrack promise a unique and entertaining outing for the whole family.

Check-in and day-of registration are at the Backyard Entrance beginning at 6 pm. All participants 18+ will receive a $5 betting voucher, and all those under 18 will receive a free ice cream.

All participants must bring their own chicken costumes, as only a limited number will be available for purchase in the Backyard. Acceptable costumes can be found on Amazon

There will be six Chicken Runs:

• Lil Chicks (6 and under) – Before race 1 (approx. 6:30 pm)
• Chicks (Kids 12 and under) – After 1st harness race (approx. 7 pm)
• Old Hens(Ages 50 and older women) –  After the 2nd harness race (approx. 7:20 pm)
• Old Roosters (Ages 50 and older Men) – After the 3^rd harness race (approx. 7:45 pm)
• Hens (ages 13-49) – After the 4th harness race (approx. 8:10 pm)
• Open (ages 13-49) – After the 7th harness race (approx. 9:30 pm)

Each winner will receive a Chicken Run trophy and $250!
