Breeders Crown Charity Challenge

The Breeders Crown Charity Challenge was conceived to create positive relationships with the local community, raise awareness, and fund local charities. The Challenge has already raised over $1.5 Million to date!

The Challenge, which runs August 30 – October 19, consists of four teams which compete throughout the fall to raise money for their team charity. Teams compete by earning points through various Challenge events and fan voting. The team with the most points at the end of the Challenge will receive 40% of the total money donated to their team charity; the other three charities will receive 25%, 17.5% and 17.5% respectively. Join in on the fun by voting daily for your favorite team!

 

Vote to Help Your Favorite Team Win

We encourage fans, charity participants, and everyone in between, to vote each day of the challenge for their favorite team. The Team with the most votes at the end of the Challenge will receive an additional 100 points; 2nd place will receive 75 points; 3rd place will receive 50 points, and 4th place will receive 25 points. Voting will be available when polls are opened.

Challenge runs August 30 - October 19

  • August 30—October 19 Driver and Trainer team performance on the Grand Circuit. Teams may earn points when a team participant drives in a major stakes race.
  • August 30 Charity Team Draw Night at the Races. The Challenge kicks off with the charities being paired with their teams! Charities are encouraged to come out in person for a fun night.
  • August 30 Charity Team Draw Night Double Seater Race. One charity member will compete with their team driver in an actual horse race and the race order of finish will determine point distribution.
  • August 31 Charity Brunch & Family Day 10am - 1pm. Charities are encouraged to invite friends, family and organization employees and volunteers for a morning at the track. Brunch will be served along with fun activities for kids.
  • October 18 & 19 Influencer Handicapping Contest. Team influencers compete to amass the most money over two race cards. The final Challenge standings will be tallied after the final race on Saturday, October 19.
