Turf Racing Returns to the Meadowlands this Weekend

The Monmouth at Meadowlands thoroughbred meet kicks off the first of nine all-turf race cards this Friday, September 23, with 61 horses entered across the six-race program.

The turf meet runs Fridays & Saturdays from September 23 through October 22 with the exception October 15. Post time is 7pm.

The second floor Lounge will be open for the all-grass meet for ala carte dining. Trotters will be open for $49.95 buffet dining featuring a variety of salads, main courses, carving stations and desserts. Reservations can be made by calling 201-The-BigM.

The Meadowlands is also hosting a Track or Treat event throughout October. Track Or Treat is a fall festival of fun for all ages! Featuring live entertainment and side-shows, carnival-style games, free hayride on the racetrack, Oktoberfest with traditional favorites and pumpkin patch full of Halloween activities with a dose of spooky for kids and adults.
