Strong Local Brewery Showing for Meadowlands Beerfest

The annual Meadowlands Racetrack Beerfest takes place on Saturday, May 4th which is also Kentucky Derby Simulcast Day. Doors open for VIP admission at 4:00 pm with General Admission at 5:00 pm and beer is poured until 9:00pm. It is an afternoon and evening of great craft beer and horse racing, both live harness racing and the Kentucky Derby simulcast.

 

Though over sixty breweries and cideries are participating, the fifteen participating New Jersey breweries are a true festival highlight.

 

New to this year’s festival are Grin Brewing of Keansburg, the Bradley Brew Project out of Bradley Beach and Autodidact Beer from Morris Plains.

 

Bonesaw Brewing of Glassboro, Bout The Hops out of Mt Laurel and Montclair Brewery are all returning to the festival for the their second year.

 

Long-time Meadowlands Beer Fest participants Bolero Snort, Broad Street Seltzers, 902 Brewing, and Ghost Hawk will be onsite pouring their thirst-quenching beers.

 

Fan favorites Seven Tribesmen, Ashton Brewing, Ross Brewing and Untied Brewing Co will also pour a variety of brews.

 

Ludlam Island Brewery’s Fish Alley IPA, Paper Tigers IPA and I Really Like NJ Blond Ale will also be poured on May 4th.

The Annual Beer Fest will be held in the Backyard and on the East Apron and will open to the public at 4:00 pm for VIP admission.  General Admission begins at 5:00 pm and is available in advance for $45 or at the door for $50.  The VIP ticket is $65 and includes an additional 1 hour of sampling, exclusive VIP Tent beer samplings, and food.  Live harness racing will commence at 6:20 pm.

 

New Jersey Craft Beer Club members will receive a free $10 betting voucher when they show their card at the festival entrance. Must be 21+ to attend
