Stallion Restriction Condition Notes

The Stallion Restriction Condition (SRC) aka the “Gural Rule” precludes all foals from the first crop only of any sire who does not meet the condition from being made eligible to any stakes/early closing races that include the SRC within the stakes conditions.

The language within the SRC, Article 2, identifies the responsibility of the stallion handlers to notify potential breeders of the horse’s status.
