Special Upcoming Dining Events at the Meadowlands

Looking for a special night out that includes dinner and entertainment? Then look no further than the Meadowlands Racetrack the next two weeks.

The 5-course Nikkei dinner on Saturday, April 27, consists of Peruvian ingredients prepared with Japanese techniques. The dinner is $69.95 and includes a live racing program and $10 betting voucher.

The menu includes:

• Course 1: Ceviche paired with Pilsen
• Course 2: A trio of Causas Rolls paired with Kirin Light
• Course 3: Char Siu Pork with pork fried rice paired with Sapporo
• Course 4: Miso Salmon with roasted avocado and golden potatoes paired with Cusquena
• Course 5: Lucuma Pecan Cheesecake paired with Cristal

On Friday, May 3 the track is celebrating Cinco de Mayo early. The Tres de Mayo buffet in Pink Restaurant

is $49.95 and features a build your own taco bar with ground beef and chicken and all the classic fixings

including guacamole.  Guests can enjoy enchilada soup, Carne Asada with chimichurri, empanadas, and

blackened cod with corn salsa.

The Kentucky Derby Day buffet on Saturday, May 4, features a spring-inspired buffet beginning at 4:30pm for $64.95.  Dishes include sides and starters like gazpacho, antipasti salad, grilled corn on the cob and Mandarin orange chicken salad with lemon dressing, entrees like honey-fried chicken and grilled NY sirloin, and pecan pie and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
