There were no changes in the Week 4 edition of Dave Little’s “Road to The Meadowlands Pace” top 10 poll, but next week there figures to be, with seven of the horses scheduled to be in action this weekend.

Alagna: “The times [of the races that night] were relative to the conditions. The horse was driven properly. [At this point in the season] I’d rather be a fast-closing fourth than a tired third. You are pointing forward. I’d like to go to the North America Cup with two or three starts. These days, these horses go so fast. They’re like Thoroughbreds, they don’t need the work they used to. He wasn’t going to get in at The Meadowlands, so we’ll go against older Sunday at Chester.”
