Meadowlands To Offer Series for 3 Year Olds Next Spring

The Meadowlands is announcing the addition of a Late Closing series for 3-year-olds of all gaits and sex in the spring of 2023. The series will be designed to provide starts over the mile track for green horses.

“Trainers have asked for a series where they can race their green horses over The Meadowlands mile track. The young horses need starts and we have a very difficult time filling overnight races for those classes, so we’ll try doing it this way,” said General Manager Jason Settlemoir.
