Meadowlands Stakes on Fox Sports Saturday Night

– The Meadowlands “Championship Meet” kicks into high gear this Saturday with eight Grand Circuit stakes, including the Crawford Farms Open Trot, the Six Pack for mare trotters, the Dave Brower Memorial Open Pace, the Perfect Sting Mare Pace and four divisions of the Reynolds Stakes for 3-year-old trotting fillies and colts, stocked with a bounty of Hambo hopefuls.

Those races will be broadcast live as part of “America’s Day At The Races” on the Fox Sports Network, as will the next two stakes filled Saturdays.

The schedule for the next few weeks is:

July 1: 8-11 FS2

July 8: 8-11 FS2

July 15: 10- midnight FS1

This is also Fan Appreciation Weekend live at the track.

Both Friday and Saturday offer $1 hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn and soda and $2 draft beer from 6–11 p.m. Guests can purchase these specially priced concessions at the Café, on the Victory Terrace and in the Backyard. Those looking for heartier fare can dine at the Backyard BBQ Grill & Bar.

On Friday night following the live racing a fireworks display will take place to honor Independence Day.
