Meadowlands Racetrack Beerfest This Saturday

This Saturday, May 6 is the annual Meadowlands Racetrack Beer Fest. Doors open for VIP at 4:00 pm with General Admission at 5:00 pm and beer is poured until 9:00pm. It is a day of great craft beer and horse racing.

The Beer Fest will be held in the Backyard. The VIP ticket is $65 and includes an additional 1 hour of sampling, exclusive VIP beer samplings, and BBQ favorites.  General Admission is available in advance for $45 or at the door for $50.  Live harness racing will commence at 6:20pm and the Kentucky Derby’s post time is 6:57pm

The tri-state area is well represented at this year’s festival serving everything from beer to seltzer to cider.

Breweries from New Jersey include: Ghost Hawk, Ashton, Bradley Brew Project, Bonesaw Brewing, 902 Brewing Company, Bout The Hops, Gearblock Brewing Company, Ross Brewing, Montclair Brewery, Alementary, Angry Erik, Broad Street Seltzers, Bolero Snort, United Brewing, Seven Tribesmen, Flying Fish, Jersey Girl and Cricket Hill.

The New York brew scene is also heavily represented with Doc’s Hard Cider, Montauk, Flagship, Captain Lawrence, Southern Tier, Blue Point, Bira91, Bronx Brewery, Ommegang, Ithaca and Industrial Arts Brewing Company.

Evil Genius Beer Company, Victory Waves Seltzer, Victory Brewing Company, Jack’s Hard Cider all represent Pennsylvania.

Additional breweries from around the U.S. include: Artifact Cider Project, Elysian Brewery, Golden Road, Kona, Deschutes, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, New Belgium, Boulevard, Harpoon, Firestone Walker, UFO, Evil Genius, Great Lakes, Well Being, Goose Island, New Trail, Toppling Goliath, Anderson Valley, Sweetwater, Fisher’s Island and Lone River Ranch Water.

Smirnoff Seltzer, Samuel Smith Old Brewery, Ayinger, Lindemans, Guiness and Warsteiner round out the international selections being poured.
