Meadowlands Offers Six Short Series’ Next Week

The Meadowlands will offer a number of short series’ over the next few weeks to help fill the gap with no stakes scheduled locally during the Grand Circuit meet at Mohawk.

Notice that numbers 5 & 6 are three legs and a final, designed to provide starts for the three year olds that may have a gap in their regional schedules.

Details on all six of the proposed series’, including a few that started this week but in which you may still enter, may be found below.

Event #1 (Fri.) Pace TRACKMASTER SERIES – Leg 2 of 2 TrackMaster Rating 71.5 (N/W L2 72/2L4 72.5) or less as

of 6/6 (Starters @ Meadowlands or Freehold in at least 3 of Last 5 Starts Allowed 1 Point)

Optional Claiming $6,000 AE: Leg 1 Starters – Purse $8,000

Event 2 (Sat.) Pace PLAY MEADOWLANDS – Leg 2 of 2 N/W $5,000 (NJSO or N/W L2 $5,500) in Last 4 Starts AE:

TMR 80.5 (N/W L2 81/2L4 81.5) or less as of 6/6 or Winners B/C N/W $3,500 or less in L/S –

Starters in a class higher than N/W $8,500 in L/S N/E AE: Leg 1 Starters – Purse $11,500

than 7 (N/W L2 or 3YO 8) Ext. PM Races Life AE: N/W $100,000 Life (If series goes Legs 6/10,

6/17, 6/24 – Final on 7/1 – $30,000) – Purse $20,000

*As always if they don’t fill with enough entries for a series it will be raced as an overnight
