March Events at the Meadowlands Racetrack

This March, the Meadowlands Racetrack has something for everyone. We offer everything from racing and contests to food events and basketball, all taking place at the track.

This Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1, we invite you to a unique Mardi Gras celebration at the Meadowlands buffet. The menu is a delightful fusion of Creole Gumbo, Cajun deviled eggs with shrimp, Creole farfalle pasta, red beans, and rice, and Cajun spiced strip steak with bread pudding and banana fosters cheesecake. The Meadowlands Racetrack monthly handicapping contest schedule continues on Friday, March 14. There is no entry fee (a $100 live money bankroll is required) for players, and the prize pool, guaranteed at $1,000 and funded by the track, will be paid out to the top four finishers.

On Saturday, March 15th, in honor of the Ides of March, a $55 (plus tax and gratuity) four-course cocktail pairing menu will tantalize diners’ taste buds.

• Course 1 Caesar Salad  paired with “Liquid Swords” (Green Chartreuse, Aperol, Grand Marnier & Rye)
• Course 2 Mussels in White Wine & Garlic paired with “Death in the Afternoon” (Absinthe & champagne)
• Course 3 Roman-Style Meatballs with Gnocchi Romana paired with “Et Tu, Cocktail?” (Bourbon, Cynar, Blood Orange & Lemon)
• Course 4 Death By Chocolate paired with “Espresso Martini” Cold Brew, Mr. Black & Vanilla Vodka

The ideal spot to watch the college basketball tournament, which kicks off Tuesday, March 18, and runs through Monday, April 7th, is America’s number one sports book, FanDuel, in the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Check out the 2^nd floor lounge dining package for the weekend opening rounds of the college basketball tournament. This package guarantees the best seats in the house so you can relax and enjoy the game. Table packages are available for March 20-23^rd.
