1-My Way – $135,000 Muscle Hill brother to Hambo contender broke as the heavy favorite, previous qualifier was eye-catching & draws better to rebound for Team Melander

 

6-Poof Of Record – Muscle Hill seventh foal from Nifty Norman’s 2009 Dan Patch Award winner Poof She’s Gone, lived up to his tote hype with a perfect trip debut score

 

5-Robinhood – $100,000 Walner gelding severely pace compromised in the follow up to his huge Kindergarten upset & continues to build confidence

 

RACE 3

1-Sunkist Beauty – From the first crop of world champion Six Pack she more than backed up her qualifiers by cruising all the way in her NJSS debut & stands out on the rail for Team Svanstedt

 

3-Walcango – Fashion Farms homebred from the family of Tom Cango ($515,930) just missed again with a relentless rally & draws post three again as a big stalking threat

 

5-Tandem Hanover – Walner sister to Temporal Hanover ($972,166) was used to clear the lead from post eight as the beaten favorite off a sharp 1:54.2 Kindergarten debut win

 

RACE 4

9-Special Talent – $250,000 Walner sister to Special Way was airborne late in :26.4 to hit the board in a noteworthy debut for Team Alagna & rates highly despite post nine

 

5-Allegiant – Bumped into standout Sunkist Beauty in a solid Big M debut fresh off her 1:53.2 romp in a KYSS Final @ Oak Grove & draws better off that acclimating mile

 

6-Spy Coast – $90,000 Walner filly flashed plenty of late trot to just miss last week, worth a long look despite a tougher draw as she continues to progress

 

RACE 5

1-Deerfield Beach – No doubt been knocking on the door with back-to-back solid seconds, his latest a gutsy narrow loss to Rock To Glory, now lands the rail & long overdue

 

6-Rock To Glory – Tabbed this one when he rallied with his best effort of the season two weeks ago, this 15YO looks for career win number 70, yet not sure he’ll get the right set up

 

3-Bruce’s Magic – Bruce is just one for 21 this season, switches to the MADC 1 Series & draws well to work out a stalking trip in a real headscratcher

 

RACE 6

5-Legal Scholar – $300,000 Walner brother to 1:50.2 performer Justice, runner to standout Hankins Hanover last week & heading in the right direction for Andrew Harris

 

8-Stormcloudfashion – Walner first foal from a sister to Open class Inaminute Hanover, jogged in his Tompkins Geers stakes debut, then just missed last week, top rated despite post eight again

 

3-Sig Sauer – $200,000 Muscle Hill colt from the family of Oaks winner Broadway Schooner, rebounded to win his latest baby race with a nice late burst & draws well for Noel Daley

6-Bohemian Hanover – Walner third foal from a sister to millionaire Caprice Hill just missed with sharp trot at both ends & certainly has something positive to build on

 

1-Soiree Hanover – Walner seventh foal from a sister to Father Patrick rallied to win her NJSS debut with a professional late move & lands the rail for The Bionic Man

 

2-Meetmeatthebar – Modestly-priced filly from the first crop of Six Pack finished well for minor spoils in her first trip @ The Big M, draws inside with license to improve at a price

 

RACE 8

3-Rockabilly Charm – Been consistently landing on the edges recently, finished a solid third two weeks ago & draws inside again to carve out a similar stalking trip

 

5-Johnny Q – Only one for 25 this season, but a steady check earner returns to the mile track, owns a late move & Matt Zuccarello just needs to time it right

 

9-Shorty’s Girl – On a pretty nice roll despite some tough trips most recently, has missed a month, tackles post nine, yet maybe there’s hope if the pace & trip work out

 

RACE 9

4-Mon Amour – Per Engblom trainee has tackled tougher here this season, drops a notch off an even fifth & draws post four again in a wide-open field

 

7-Distance Learning – Took a new mark at this level three starts back, bounced back with a solid third last time & needs more of that big late kick

 

3-Infinity Stone – Recent form has been so-so @ Yonkers, 1:54 winner here this season returns to The Big M at the right level & reunited with Todd McCarthy

 

RACE 10

2-Duke Of Walner – Walner colt was hammered down to even money favorite & thundered home belatedly in a sharp :26.2, draws inside for an anticipated follow up in a competitive division

 

7-Hankins Hanover – $155,000 Walner colt vaulted off a nose loss in the Kindergarten with a crushing score last week & logically looms large despite post seven

 

1-Mars Hill – $325,000 Muscle Hill first foal from a sister to 1:52 performer Mississippi Storm, tripped out to edge Lord Ritchie in a bright NJSS debut & lands the rail

 

RACE 11

2-Hustlenomics – Beaten favorite in four of his last five in Ohio, ships here into a new barn, draws inside, lands in a real soft spot & might be worth a swing in a dartboard field

 

1-Parody – Just one for 21 this season, yet achieved a better result two weeks ago, a solid second with improved early speed, now he moves inside & retains Andrew McCarthy

 

3-Congress Hill Eva – Finishing well on the fringe fourth in her last two, returns to The Big M, draws inside again, looks to play a stalk n pop roll at a price

 

RACE 12

10-Looks Like Moni – Graduate Final runner up to Jiggy Jog S raced well in the Hambo Maturity, stuck outside here, but has the speed & class to overcome

 

9-Southwind Tyrion – Off a new mark of 1:51 in the Open @ Pocono he had no chance from post ten in the Crawford Farms, another outside draw, but still a fresh threat for Team Svanstedt

 

4-Sermon – Strong second to a dominant favorite Justice last time, has hit the board in three of his last four, draws well & retains Yannick Gingras

 

RACE 13

5-Watch Me Know N – 1:49 performer here last year, now a three-time beaten favorite, just missed from post ten back-to-back, stung early last time, reunited with Todd McCarthy

 

6-Heaven’s Showgirl – Padded her high win percentage with a sterling rally as the favorite in a sparkling Big M debut, repeat threat despite the class hike

 

2-To All A Goodnight – Stormed home from far back to grab second behind Heavens Showgirl A, 3YO filly draws inside that rival with smooth trip potential

 

RACE 14

5-Friends After Six – 3YO filly found her best stride with a pair of lively wins in her last three @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, hasn’t raced in a month, but has a chance to assert herself

 

7-Hardrockcafe – Reeled off back-to-back blowouts @ Harrah’s Philadelphia before bumping into a 1:52.2 winner last out, tougher post here, yet has gained some momentum

 

3-Crazyland – Finished a much-improved third with Lasix added two starts back, then got parked from post nine & draws better in a wide-open finale for Per Engblom

4-Gotta Minute N – 10YO has been very consistent, just missed with a :27.3 last Friday, solid runner up to a 1:51.2 I’m Burlington N before that & draws inside again

 

2-Mask On Mask Off – So, is The Mask on or off tonight? We guessed right for back-to-back upsets, bumped into a sizzling 1:51.2 winner last time & now draws better

 

3-Bank Sea – Ventured to Harrah’s Philadelphia & grinded gamely for the show in the slop, liking the mighty late surge & narrow loss here three starts back from a similar inside post

 

RACE 2

1-Odds On Selenium – First crop of Bettor’s Wish & first foal from the family of A Rocknroll Dance, second to heavily favored Pulp Fiction in a solid debut & lands the rail in a soft split

 

4-Pass The Dream – Lazarus N filly won her third trial @ Pocono with confidence, then suffered broken equipment in her Big M debut & has a chance to rebound for Erv Miller

 

7-Lorraine J – Lazarus N first foal from a sister to 1:47.2 performer Thinking Out Loud ($1,932,805), an even fourth in her NJSS debut, tougher post, yet going in the right direction

1-Better Is Nice – First crop of two-time Dan Patch Award winner Bettor’s Wish, won both preps & rolled home in a nifty :25.3 as the beaten favorite & now moves inside for Team Alagna

 

2-Caviart Justice – Lazarus N first foal from his Captaintreacherous dam, promptly brushed n crushed them in a standout opener for Team Takter & lands post two again

 

4-Arbitrage Hanover – Bettor’s Wish first crop & second foal from a sister to Arachache Hanover, 1:48.1 ($1,726,617), fourth chasing Caviart Justice on July 14 & has license to show more

 

RACE 4

5-Pulp Fiction – Bettor’s Wish second foal from a sister to Heston Blue Chip & Sunfire Blue Chip, romped as the favorite in a sparkling NJSS debut in the slop after winning both preps

 

2-Lovevolution – Lazarus N tenth foal & sister world champion See You At Peelers, aired it out wire-to-wire in round one to go two-for-two & draws better to lead a Michael Hall 1-2 punch

 

3-Odds On Steno – Bettor’s Wish first crop & first foal from sub 1:50 performer Odds On St Lucie, solid runner up to Lovevolution as the beaten favorite & draws inside again for Team Alagna

3-Mr Three O Five – Lazarus N brother to Peaky Sneaky, 1:48 ($772,518), ripped out of the pocket & breezed right by Bonaparte in :26.3, could be anything for Team Takter

 

5-Bonaparte – Bettor’s Wish first foal from Treacherous Reign, 1:48.3 ($877,893), dictated her terms & yielded to an explosive Mr Three O Five & will need more for the rematch

 

1-Wish You Well – Bettor’s Wish gelding from the family of Western Ace, 1:48.4 ($1,899,133), off a debut upset chased decisive Caviart Justice & lands the rail again for Nifty Norman

4-Khaosan Road – Well managed & made the most of his opportunities for Team Svanstedt, Dexter Cup, Bunker Hill & PASS winner draws well for his switch to the mile track

 

8-Point Of Perfect – Fresh off a sharp narrow loss from post eight as the beaten favorite, perfect trip romp before that, Team Burke have this Hambo eligible on his toes

 

1-Little Expensive – $260,000 Muscle Hill put it all together with a convincing score in the slop & looks to build on that from the rail for Team Orange Crush

3-Real Peace – Was sharpening up on the comeback trail before the Per Engblom claim, freshened with three months off & draws well in a prime spot for his new barn comeback

 

6-Hammering Hank – Hank hasn’t won in awhile, but he’s been hinting, launched a late bid & came up short in :26.4 two weeks ago & this might be time for him to break through

 

5-Copper Teen – Beaten favorite against $30,000 claimers @ Yonkers makes his third start off the bench for Per Engblom, stalking type has a big chance to thrive here

 

RACE 8

9-Ari Ferrari J – Might be the best of the Hambo noneligibles, fresh off a new mark of 1:51 in the Zweig @ Vernon Downs & big threat for Team Alagna despite post nine

 

1-Saint Louie – Father Patrick brother to Emoticon Hanover, 1:50.2 ($1,778,033) counts a PASS division among his four wins this season for Team Svanstedt & fresh off a wire-to-wire @ Pocono

 

2-Purple Lord – Hambo eligible has flashed some talent & taken awhile to get going, off a solid comeback he draws better in a real wide-open division

7-Allywag Hanover – 2021 Dan Patch Award winner & world champion just finished a good fourth in the Haughton & might be ready to assert himself in this soft class

 

2-Billy Clyde – 1:47.3 performer @ The Big M Hambo Day 2022, rebounding from his recent miscues & draws inside again to flaunt his brilliant speed in a very intriguing puzzle

 

4-Early Action – Beaten heavy favorite flying late off a no-chance trip from post ten, ramping it up recently for Joe Holloway, draws much better & might present some value

 

RACE 10

3-Railee Something – Team Burke-tuned filly no worse than second this season, just scored her fourth win of 2023, another PASS with a lifetime best of 1:52.4 & draws inside here

 

2-Fashion Annie – Jim Campbell trainee has found her best stride winning two of her last three in PA stakes & draws inside fresh off a career best of 1:52.1

 

5-Angelpedia – Here’s a very consistent Cantab Hall filly who’s been thriving in PA with the addition of trotting hopples in her last three & looks like controlling speed is her forte

 

RACE 11

5-Combustion – 1:49.3 stakes winning freshman last season tackles older foes in a very interesting spot to continue regaining form & confidence for Brett Pelling

 

7-Itsallaboutfaith – NZ import by Captaintreacherous added Lasix for his second qualifier & held off Mr Ibiza N in 1:51.2, challenging post, but might try to air it out in this field of question marks

 

1-Love Your Work A – Forced wide from a tough spot when he was bumped up to this level last week, sports a 1:49.4 mark @ The Big M this season, owns a big kick & moves inside

6-Walner Payton – Steady Oaks eligible hasn’t missed the board this season, versatile Walner filly has been eager to please & looms as the main target for Dunn & Ryder

 

4-Karaboudjan – Team Melander trainee with a mark of 1:53.1 @ The Big M draws better off a solid third in the Reynolds, leaves, sits, stalks & pounces late for The White Knight

7-Shore Of Himself – Has fallen off form recently, off a complete clunker @ Pocono, but now plummets to the bottom condition here & eligible to rebound

 

6-Typhoon Stride N – Beaten heavy favorite @ Pocono did display some vigor there, makes his third start off the bench with some back class on view
