RACE 1

1-Marvalous One – 6YO makes his first start of the season off an even qualifier, was doing some damage here last Fall, lands the rail & maybe the fresh angle works in his favor

 

3-Final Justice – 10YO was on a three-race form spree before finishing an okay fifth last week, post gods remain very kind & has a chance to trip out in a blank division

 

4-Love Yourself – No idea why this guy was heavily favored in his last two, flashed some late pace two starts back, then used hard last week, now draws better & retains Todd McCarthy

 

RACE 2

7-Caviart Callum – Caviart Farms homebred forced wide & flashed some late pace for minor spoils in that vicious 1:50.1 Hungry Man mile, moves outside, but leads the Alagna Armada

 

3-Captain’s Choice – This Captain won his second baby race with authority, then bumped into a 1:50.1 rocket in his Kindergarten debut & draws better off that experience

 

4-Captain Batboy – $200,000 Captaintreacherous colt took three qualifiers, then wasn’t heard from in his fast opener behind stablemate Captain’s Choice, still has license to step up

 

RACE 3

3-Bellisima Hanover – $400,000 second foal from the millionaire Bedroomconfessions, runner up to heavily favored Cultured in a very bright opener & draws an improved post

 

4-Mind Blowing – Seventh foal from a half million dollar winning dam, turned the tables on Falana Hanover in her second qualifier & looks like a potential star for Team Toscano

 

5-Falana Hanover – $100,000 Always B Miki sister to Dan Patch Award winning millionaire Fire Start Hanover, won her first trial with a :26.4, then nosed out by Mind Blowing

 

RACE 4

9-Scrappin Gold – Gelding on a long form spree for a hit barn, blew them away with the mile of his life last week, stuck outside, but sharp & versatile

 

1-Ohio Vintage – The grey tripped out & romped in a flashy Big M debut with Yannick Gingras, back on the rail with something big to build on

 

3-Grateful Kiss – 0 for 14 season, yet has ramped it up recently, a distant second to Scrappin Gold last week, draws inside again & might be on the verge of an overdue win

 

RACE 5

4-Heart On Fire – Father Patrick sister to a couple of $400,000 winners Fourth Dimension & Valentina Blu, second to standout My Anna’s Dream in an excellent opener from post eight

 

5-Totally Relentless – Bar Hopping filly sports trotting hopples, stepped up to romp in her second baby race for Team Toscano & she could be anything

 

6-Pride N Joy – E L Titan filly finished well in both miles with trotting hopples, Noel Daley trainee kicked home in :27.1 to open it up & might own a speed edge

 

RACE 6

2-Kilmister – $170,000 Chapter Seven colt has gone two-for-two in NYSS, draws inside a wide-open elimination & could be a potential star for Team Melander

 

4-Upstaged – Muscle Hill colt won his NJSS debut & picked up checks in his next two, this solid Team Melander back up plan draws an improved post

 

8-Celebrity Bambino – $120,000 Muscle Hill colt won a NJSS division in 1:53, fourth placed third from post nine in that Final, contender despite a tough draw for Team Burke

 

RACE 7

4-Ship Wreck Beach K – Lived up to his strong tote support & gunned down the favorite & stablemate Illini Duke with a career best 1:52.1 in his Big M debut, draws well to as a big threat to repeat

 

3-Always A Force – One for 14 this season, stung early from post nine & just missed to Ship Wreck Beach K last week, 9YO draws an improved post, which helps turn the tables

 

2-Lovely Lady May – She was indeed lovely launching a wide rally & romped to a new mark in a sparkling Big M debut fresh off the bench & draws inside again to follow up

 

RACE 8

4-My Anna’s Dream – Father Patrick filly won both baby races, then dominated her Kindergarten debut & draws well for Team Takter

 

6-Brunella – Swept through her first three, including a PASS romp @ The Meadows, just missed from post seven in a Kindergarten division & gives Team Takter a 1-2 punch

 

2-Secret Volo – Walner filly was nosed out in a NJSS division as the heavy favorite two starts back, an even fifth in that Final, post two again to trip out & loom large for Team Melander

 

RACE 9

8-Hotfoot Hannah – Well driven a new lifetime mark of 1:52.4 in her Big M debut from post seven, followed up with a solid third, rates highly in her current form despite post eight

 

9-Brickhouse Babe – Walner filly has done well against Grand Circuit foes recently, just missed from the rail last Saturday, stuck outside here, but has the talent to overcome

 

1-Hammer Time – Switched to Team Burke, added trotting hopples & promptly trotted the mile of his life for Yannick Gingras, now faces a double class hike, but lands the rail

 

RACE 10

1-Southwind Tyrion – World champion 1:51.1 2YO has comeback from injury wiping out his sophomore season, that was a mighty sweep here to go two-for-two & stands out on the rail for Team Svanstedt

 

5-Storm Is Raging – All he does is destroy Pocono in dominant style for Team Burke, his two recent efforts here were excellent & he might try to steal this

 

8-Delayed Hanover – The other Team Svanstedt trainee been involved in some swift miles in the Graduate Series & blitzed in the Hambo Maturity, tough draw here, but certainly belongs

 

RACE 11

7-Wild Oats – Lightly-raced Team Alagna 4YO took charge, rated nicely & just missed in a superb rebound effort, could be tough to catch if able to take control

 

5-Ken’s Walner – Walner colt trotted the mile of his life before the recent sick scratch, bounced back with a solid qualifier, faded to fifth in his comeback, but needed the race

 

2-Mrs Taylor – 0 for 15, but draws inside again off a fairly solid comeback for Team Burke, has license to ramp it up further in a toss up field

 

RACE 12

1-Keeper Of Secrets – Brushed to the top in a soft :57 half & just missed to a revived Hammer Time in a terrific Big M debut for Team Bongiorno & looks to like the one to beat from the rail

 

2-Goes Down Smooth – Stayed flat, yet paid the price for a slow start from post eight, makes his key third start off the bench from a much better post & owns some back class

 

4-Max Volo – Finished a much-improved second to a runaway big favorite @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, makes his third start off a sick scratch & lands in a softer spot

 

RACE 13

7-One More Try – 4YO mare has landed on the fringes in both starts here, yet just heating up on the comeback trail, tricky post, but just needs some pace to shoot at

 

5-Six Day Wars – 0 for 14 this season & beaten favorite in three of his last four, used hard to clear the lead from post seven & held second last week, remains a top contender

 

4-Always As Fast – Returns to the Big M off a rare miscue in an amateur event @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, stalking type draws well in a wide-open finale

RACE 1

10-Prospectors Gold – Lightly-raced 3YO put together a solid back half of :54 flat to rally for second behind a big favorite All About The Hunt, stuck outside here, yet that was an excellent acclimating mile

 

1-So Delightful – This Team Cullipher-tuned mare took care of the boys when a suddenly very aggressive effort paid off as the favorite, so now she’s a threat to repeat from the rail

 

4-Doctor BB – Abruptly snapped his season skid with a decisive score & took a new mark in the slop second time Lasix, then no factor from post eight, draws better after three weeks off

 

RACE 2

3-Our Third Rock – Shipped back here on a long form spree & just missed with a strong :54.4 back half, draws inside again while on the verge of a stalk n pop

 

4-Regal Escape – Only took a couple of starts here to unleash his fury & equaled his lifetime mark in a romp from the same post last week & logically looms large as a result

 

6-Beach Chief – Steamrolled first over to a gutsy mild upset over Our Third Rock last week, just a fifth off his career best & could pounce for another with the right set up

 

RACE 3

1-Dealer’s Table – Finished a hard-charging third by a neck in a sparkling season debut for Team Cullipher, now gets to drop a notch & stands out on the rail

 

3-Saying Grace N – Right there third in the photo as the beaten favorite two starts back, returns to The Big M with another inside draw to trip out for Team Cullipher

 

4-Fabrizio – Beaten heavy favorite parked first over by Baileys Rock N & faded the fifth last week, gets another shot at this reduced level from another inside post

 

RACE 4

5-Chase Lounge – Took advantage of relief from the Graduate Series & went all the way for a new mark of 1:50.2 @ Harrah’s Philadelphia two starts back & just missed with sharp pace at both ends here last week

 

3-Corsini A – 8YO mare has been hinting on the fringes, flew home in :26.3 to land in the photo last week & draws better to stalk the speed at a possible price

 

2-So Fia Lolita – New face in town was rolling on smaller Ontario tracks, qualified with :25.4 vigor first time Lasix, draws inside & might try to go as far as she can

 

RACE 5

6-The Dark Shadow – Re-acclimated & finished well for minor spoils into a :53.2 back half, chasing a well-rated favorite, drops another notch here & gives Team Bongiorno a solid 1-2 punch

 

4-Imaginary Line – Twice beaten favorite an aggressive second in both tries @ Pocono, 1:49.3 winner here this season makes his third start off the bench in a cozy spot for Team Bongiorno

 

3-My Pal Joe – Despite more than three months off Joe was ready & showed his distinct liking for The Big M, now steps up refreshed with another inside draw

 

RACE 6

6-Bettors Donttell – Fired out to sit a hot pocket, got locked in late & squeezed through to be a close third two weeks ago, Team Burke trainee was involved in some salty Graduate affairs before that

 

4-Billy Clyde – One of the hottest horses @ The Big M, Billy is a nose shy of four in a row, whacked out a stern pace & held for a new mark of 1:48 last week, draws well again in a very competitive match up

 

9-Speedy Dominic A – Definitely knocking on the door for Team Bongiorno, steamrolled first over & nosed out two starts back, well driven & just missed last week, stuck outside, yet remains a very live item

 

RACE 7

4-Mad Max Hanover – Max responded to a well-driven effort from post nine to be a bang up second in the Pace Final & finally draws a decent post to set up his wicked rally

 

5-Energetic Hanover – Lightly-raced Brett Pelling PASS winner this season, second by a neck here two starts back & returns off the mile of his life @ Harrah’s Philadelphia

 

2-Captainryanmichael – Pace finalist had no chance from post ten, was trending right before that & draws much better here to be forwardly placed

 

RACE 8

3-Venerable – Hambo Winterbook favorite has regrouped with three straight sharp stakes, second to Joviality S with a :25.4 in the Del Miller & lands post three again for a marquee match up

 

5-Manon – Won her first five this season before a close second to Fashion Shooner in the Del Miller, 1:51.1 deadheat win before that with major upside for Lucas Wallin

 

2-Selfie Queen – 1:51.2 performer at tow when she won the KY Championship Series Final, finished a solid third to Joviality S in the Del Miller & draws inside again for Team Takter

 

RACE 9

8-Rebuff – #1 ranked Hambo horse unleashed an eye-catching rally in his 3YO debut, then reeled off a track record equaling 1:49.4 in the Dancer, post eight no picnic, but he’s just starting to hit on all cylinders for Lucas Wallin

 

4-Branded By Lindy – Held #1 in the Hambo Top Ten for the first three weeks & now #4, locked in the EBC, early miscue in the Zweig, tough trip in the Dancer, now draws well to make a serious statement

 

7-Periculum – Currently rated 7th in the Hambo Top Ten, looms large in the Team Melander back up battalion, just missed to stablemate Temporal Hanover in the Zweig & still buzzing from that huge third from post ten in the NJSS Final

 

RACE 10

1-Fashion Schooner – Brilliant Fashion Farms Walner filly whose dam won the 2009 Oaks, superb season so far, winning the NJSS Final, just missed with a furious rally in the Reynolds & fresh off a new mark of 1:50.1 in the Del Miller

 

5-Delilah Hanover – Has been a picture of consistency for Nifty Norman & seems to be sharpening her sword at the right time, that was a big rally for second to Jiggy Jog S in the Zweig, then finished a solid third to Fashion Schooner

 

4-Raised By Lindy – Was ranked among the boys in the early editions of the Hambo Top Ten, held for a deadheat win in the Reynolds, then faded to fifth in the Del Miller, so sending out mixed signals, chance to rebound

 

RACE 11

10-Joviality S – This outstanding filly tops the Hambo list going six-for-six this season, exceptional 1:51 in the EBC, overcame post seven in the Yonkers Trot, all the way in the Del Miller in a career best of 1:50.2, faces a serious test from post ten

 

3-Temporal Hanover – Stands at #3 in the Hambo Top Ten, consistent Team Melander colt just missed with a thunderous rally in the NJSS Final, won the Zweig fresh off the bench, then a close second to Rebuff & draws inside his stellar stablemate

 

6-King Of The North – Last year’s Dan Patch Award winner rated 5th in the Hambo Top Ten, has worked out the kinks to finish second in his last two, we certainly haven’t seen his best, but will have to go off Lasix

 

RACE 12

6-Treacherous Dragon – The Fan Hanover winner suffered her first loss in seven starts this season when she squandered a perfect trip in the Mistletoe Shalee, beaten favorite no doubt has the talent to atone

 

2-Max Contract – Lightly-raced Huntsville filly has come a long way from breaking her maiden back on June 1, that was an amazing rally to nail Boudoir Hanover in a 1:48.3 Mistletoe Shalee upset & she’s rewarded with an improved post

 

8-Boudoir Hanover – Fresh off her new mark of 1:48.3 in the Nadia Lobel @ Hoosier Park she almost went all the way in the Mistletoe Shalee, moves outside here, but Team Alagna has her on her toes

 

RACE 13

6-Bella Bellini – Dan Patch Award winner/Oaks champ & the current queen of the division, overcame the second tier to tie a mile & one eighth world record in the Hambo Maturity, relentless rallies are her forte

 

2-Atlanta – One of the greatest trotters in history has been very steady on the comeback trail for Team Burke, won her second Armbro Flight Final, solid runner up to When Dovescry two weeks ago & draws inside that rival

 

8-When Dovescry – Another Dan Patch Award/Oaks champ has sparked her form with seconds in the Armbro Flight & Six Pack, then took a new mark of 1:50 in a leg of this series two weeks ago, post eight might thwart her progress

 

RACE 14

3-Da Ghetto Wizard – Was somehow caught first over from the rail & understandably faded to fifth last week, huge rally for second to Tuxedo Bay before that & draws inside again to rebound in a very competitive finale

 

4-Rockabilly Charm – Don’t ask me to explain how this 7YO suddenly uncorked a vicious 1:50.3 upset with a :54.2 back half, nevertheless he draws well again to prove it was no fluke

 

7-Tuxedo Bay – The dapper Tuxedo abruptly unleashed back-to-back upsets, 8YO lowered his mark to 1:50 two starts back & very convincing after a post nine blastoff last week
