June 2026 Events at the Meadowlands Racetrack

The Meadowlands Racetrack’s Championship Meet is in full swing with live racing every Friday and Saturday night with a 6:35 pm post time.

Each live race night, fans can enter horseplay. Pick up a free horse at the promotions table and throw the horse into the car for a chance to win $100 and an entry into the Friday, August 7^th drawing for a brand new 2026 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid.

Highlighting Saturday, June 6, is the fan favorite Wiener Dog Derby. This family-friendly event features doxies racing in the track’s Backyard between live harness racing. This year, we have expanded the competition to 100 doggy contestants across 10 heats. The exciting Wiener Dog Derby Final takes place under the lights on the track at 9:25 pm. Admission and parking are free. There will also be free face painting, Wild Bill’s Soda, Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream, Doggie Road Trippin & Groomington Eats onsite, adding to the excitement.

The track’s monthly handicapping contest schedule continues on Friday, June 12. There is no entry fee (a $100 live money bankroll is required) for players, and the prize pool, guaranteed at $1,000 and funded by the track, will be paid out to the top four finishers. Full details are available here

The annual summer Wine Festival happens on Saturday, June 20. It’s a fantastic day filled with wines from around the world. VIP entry kicks off at 4 p.m., general admission starts at 5 p.m., and the wine keeps flowing until 9 p.m. Spend the evening sipping on delicious wines from Italy, Australia, the U.S., France, and South America, all while enjoying music by DJ Alx, food, and harness racing.

All month long, the track and the FanDuel Sportsbook are hosting the World Watch Zone. Soccer fans can catch all the World Cup action onsite while enjoying soccer activations, games, prizes, giveaways, and an overload of game-day regional food and beverage specials.

Match spectators and ticket holders are encouraged to allow plenty of time for travel to the games. Fans can arrive early and enjoy the track’s World Watch Zone before walking over to the Stadium.
