July Starts with a Bang at the Meadowlands Racetrack

The Meadowlands Racetrack kicks off July with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, July 5. From 6:00 to 11 p.m., fans can grab $1 hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and $2 draft beer at the Café, on the Victory Terrace, and in the Backyard. Guests are encouraged to stay after the races for the free fireworks display.

On the track Saturday night, the top four-year-olds compete in the Graduate Finals. The race card has a special post time of 7 pm.

The action on and off the track continues the following weekend.

Saturday, July 12^th is the Meadowlands’ signature nighttime event – The Meadowlands Pace! On the track, $2.5 million in stakes is up for grabs, including the top 3-year-old pacers competing for the Meadowlands Pace title. The race card also features(estimated purses):

• $400,000 Hambletonian Maturity
• $250,000 Stanley Dancer
• $200,000 Del Miller Memorial
• $175,000 Jerry Silverman Memorial
• $175,000 Dorothy Haughton Open Mare Pace

Additionally, over 25 food trucks will be on-site, serving up delicious food.  Everything from burgers to empanadas, BBQ, lobster rolls, and lemonade will be available.
