Horseplay Car Giveaway Returns for Meadowlands 2025 Championship Meet

Here’s your chance to win big! Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment is reviving the fan-favorite Horseplay promotion, offering a new 2025 Toyota GR86. The excitement kicks off on Friday, May 2nd, and runs through Friday, August 1st.

It’s easy to join the fun! Visit the Players Club desk or the Horseplay table in front of the Winner’s Circle on any live race night. Pick up a free horse and aim for the Horseplay promo car’s window for your chance to win.

Participants attempt to throw their numbered horse into the window of a moving car. A winner, randomly chosen from all the horses that enter the vehicle, will receive a $100 betting voucher. The twenty-seven winners will be entered into the Horseplay Final Drawing on Friday, August 1st, and have a chance to win the 2025 GR86 through a reverse drawing.

For every horse that makes it into the Horseplay car during the season, Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment generously donates $5 to the designated monthly charity, making a significant impact on those in need.

The May donation recipient is Bergen County Horse Rescue. Founded in 2016 with the sole purpose of helping horses in need, they strive to provide a safe, loving environment for our horses so they can freely interact with each other in their herds, with our volunteers, and with visitors to the farm.

The June donation recipient is Food Brigade, whose mission is to ensure that no child or adult in New Jersey goes hungry and to establish food security for our neighbors facing poverty and systemic inequalities.

Family Promise is the recipient of the July/August donation. This charity empowers working families facing housing insecurity to become self-sufficient by providing temporary housing and personalized support, and addressing food insecurity in the community daily.
