BBQ Lover’s Paradise at the Meadowlands Racetrack this Saturday

This Saturday, August 29^th, the annual BBQ Extravaganza will heat the Meadowlands Racetrack. $2,500 will be awarded, with $500 for best pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, and people’s choice.

From 5:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Backyard, fans can grab delicious barbecue and food truck eats from some of the finest local food trucks and restaurants in the area. Parking and admission are free.

Vendors looking to come out on top in this year’s BBQ competition include Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, Kimchi Smoke, Michael’s Backyard BBQ, Antojitos de mi Tierra, Touch of Sauce BBQ, Rhythm + Ribs Smokehouse, Lots of Meat BBQ and Bennett St BBQ.

Additional food options ranging from bacon to lobster rolls to pizza are being served by Beastro Cuisine, Curbside Culinary Creations, Bella Ciao Pizza, Scrumps and Yum Yum, Pita Bowl, Bites and Delights, Catlike Reflexes, Blake n Kylee’s, DAW Concessions and Bitch’n Bacon.

Guests can snag some sweet treats and beverages at Tiny Hot Cakes, Wild Bill’s Craft Beverage Co., The Lemon Bar, Dolato Espresso and Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream.

In addition to the excellent barbecue and snacks, fans will be treated to exciting horse racing, with the first post at 6:20 p.m
