Annual Charity Sportscaster Derby Returns to the Meadowlands on May 12

The Meadowlands Racetrack will host the Annual Sportscasters Charity Derby — two harness races to benefit each participating Sportscasters’ selected charitable organizations — on Friday, May 12, 2023

There will be two charity races — with four Sportscasters participating in each race. Meadowlands Racetrack will donate $5,000 to each of the two winning Sportscasters’ selected charities and will also make a $1,000 donation to each charity selected by each Sportscaster.

•  Wally Szcerbiak/MSG Network – Croatian Charitable Foundation
• Don La Greca/ESPN-NY (98.7 FM) – Ronald McDonald House
• Marc Malusis/PIX11 & SNY – Make-A-Wish Foundation
• Maria Marino/Action Network – American Cancer Society (Making Strides Against Breast Cancer)
• Rebecca Haarlow/MSG – Garden of Dreams
• Mark Cannizzaro/NY Post – MSKCC
• Keith Irizarry/MLB Network – MSKCC

2022 Broadcaster Derby winners Maria Marino of the Action Network and Rebeca Haarlow from MSG are returning to defend their driving titles. New for 2023 are Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post and Keith Irizarry of the MLB Network.
