Get ready for an exciting July at the Meadowlands Racetrack. A thrilling lineup of races and fantastic promotions will keep the fun going all month. Live racing takes place every Friday and Saturday night, with a 6:20 p.m. post time.

Every live race night, fans can enter Horseplay. Pick up a free horse at the promotions table and throw the horse into the car for a chance to win $100 and an entry into the Friday, August 2nd drawing for a brand new 2024 Toyota Camry.

We kick off July with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, July 6. From 6:00 to 11 p.m., we offer $1 hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and $2 draft beer. Guests can purchase these specially priced concessions at the Café, on the Victory Terrace, and in the Backyard. Guests are encouraged to stay after the races for the free fireworks display.

Comedy Night, produced by Heavyset Comedy, is back on track with two shows scheduled for Friday, July 12. The first show starts at 7 pm, featuring headliner Ariel Elias, named one of the Best Comedians of 2022. The lineup also includes Jason Choi, Sharon Simon, and Will Gallagher. Starting at 9:30 pm, the second show will be headlined by Derek Drescher, featuring Kyle Vaters, Monique Latiese, and Katie Heneghan. Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased at https://playmeadowlands.com/event/july-comedy-night/

Saturday, July 13th is the Meadowlands’ signature night-time event – The Meadowlands Pace! On the track, $2.5 million in stakes is up for grabs, including the top 3-year-old pacers competing for the Meadowlands Pace title. While enjoying world-class harness racing, fans can ride the mechanical shark, dance with DJ ALX, and get a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last). More details can be found at https://playmeadowlands.com/pace/

Also on Pace Night is the annual Meadowlands Racetrack Burger Battle. Nearly 30 food trucks will serve delicious grub, including their best burgers, from 5 to 11 p.m. Everything from burgers to empanadas, BBQ, lobster rolls, and lemonade will be available for purchase.

The always popular Seafood Festival is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th.  There will be a raw bar in the backyard and tons of local food trucks serving some of the best seafood in the Garden State, including fried clams, fish tacos, crab fries, lobster rolls, and much more! The eliminations for the Hambletonian and Hambletonian Oaks highlight the race card.

The race meet wraps up on Saturday, August 3, with the greatest day in harness racing – $1 million Hambletonian Day.  Over $3.5 million is on the line as the top trotters and pacers compete to be crowned champions.  Doors open at 10 am, with the first race at noon.  Admission is $5 and includes a commemorative Hambo baseball cap for adults and children. In addition to great harness racing, fans can enjoy carnival rides, games, food trucks, pony rides, live music, and more. The day also includes a special appearance by the one and only Carson Kressley! Full Hambletonian Day details can be found at https://playmeadowlands.com/hambletonian-news/
