The Meadowlands Racetrack is hosting a number of events this fall perfect for food lovers.

Saturday, October 21

5-course wine dinner in the 2^nd floor Lounge. Every course is expertly paired with a chef selected wine or wines (courses 2-4 are paired with both a red and white selection):

1^st course: Brie en Croute with apricot glaze and toasted walnuts – Champagne
2^nd course: Crab Cake with lemon aioli – 3oz chef selected red and 3oz chef selected white
3^rd course: Caprese Salad with fresh NJ tomato, mozzarella, basil, olive oil & balsamic vinegar – 3oz chef selected red and 3oz chef selected white
4^th course: Seared Pork Tenderloin with creamy polenta & wild mushrooms or Cote de Boeuf Ribeye with shallot tarte tatin and Bordelaise sauce – 3oz chef selected red and 3oz chef selected white
5^th course: Walnut Cake & Banana Pudding – Port

The dinner is $74.95 per person (excluding tax & gratuity)

Friday, November 3 & Saturday, November 4

Racetrack Executive Chef Chris Burnett has crafted a Southern-themed buffet for Breeders’ Cup weekend in Pink Restaurant. The menu is highlighted by fried green tomatoes with Mississippi comeback sauce, smoky collard greens, southern style mac-n-cheese, buttermilk fried chicken, Tennessee Meatloaf and red velvet cake. The buffet opens early at 4:30pm to accommodate the Breeder’s Cup race cards.

Saturday, November 4

The racetrack is keeping things spicy this fall with the Fall Chili Cook-Off. The competition features homestyle, chili verde and salsa categories and offers over $4,500 in prizes. Racetrack guests are also welcome to be part of the fun. They are encouraged to sample the chili and vote for their favorite.

Saturday, December 9

Chef Burnett has crafted a luxurious 4-course Steakhouse Dinner. This menu is $100 per person (plus tax & gratuity) and includes a complimentary glass of champagne, live racing program, and $10 betting voucher. For the main course diners will need to select their cut of steak, choices include a 16oz ribeye, 8oz filet, 24oz porterhouse or a 36oz tomahawk for two (+$additional)

Space is still available for private events and holiday celebrations. A variety of beverage and food packages are available including a delicious BBQ menu.

Available party spaces include:

Gallery -The ideal space for draft parties and game day sports parties. The room features a private bar, lounge seating and wall to wall HD TVs.
Skybox Suites – These private rooms overlook the track and offer private stadium-style seating. With moveable walls, these suites can fit parties up to 200 people.
Trackside – An expansive area that is perfect for mitzvahs, corporate holiday celebrations & receptions and tradeshows.
The Lounge – This second floor space has views of both the FanDuel Sportsbook and the racetrack making it perfect for watching all the game day sports action.
