Get ready for an incredible day of flavor at the Meadowlands Racetrack’s highly anticipated Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, February 1.

As of January 29, there are 15 chili heads competing in the traditional red chili category, 24 talented cooks in the home-style chili contest going for the $500 grand prize, and 16 salsa makers battling it out for their own $500 reward.

This year’s competition features over $3,000 in prizes, including:

**Home-style Chili:**

– $500 Grand Prize

– $250 for 2nd place

– $100 for 3rd place

**Red Chili:**

– $500 Grand Prize

– $250 for 2nd place

– $100 for 3rd place

**People’s Choice Chili:**

– $250 Grand Prize

**Best Booth:**

– $250 Grand Prize

**Salsa:** (homemade only, no store-bought salsa permitted)

– $500 Grand Prize

– $250 for 2nd place

– $100 for 3rd place
