Meadowlands Is Racing Live on Thursday, August 4

The Meadowlands is reminding trainers that we will race live next Thursday, August 4 along with the regular Friday – Saturday schedule.

Thursday’s stakes are the second leg of the Kindergarten Series for 2-year-old pacing fillies and colts. The Kindergarten trotters will go on Friday.

Regarding the Thursday card, the box will close at 3:00PM on Saturday, July 30. Events not used for the Thursday draw will appear again on the condition sheet for Friday & Saturday.

The Friday – Saturday draw will be on Tuesday with a box close of 9:00AM as usual. That condition sheet will be posted this Saturday once it is known which classes will be used for the Thursday card.

One item worthy of mention is the annual Vincennes trot for a purse of $50,000 that will be written for Hambletonian Day. The Vincennes is an Open class overnight race, simply enter if you’d like to race. More details will follow over the next week.

The condition sheet for Thursday’s races is now available and online entries are being accepted.
