4-Little Expensive – Pricey  $260,000 Muscle Hill first foal out of a half million dollar winning dam jogged in his lone baby race, was impressive in his NJSS debut for Team Orange Crush & stands out with huge potential

 

6-Paramount Legend N – NZ bred son of Father Patrick finished well in both baby races, second to a couple of good ones, then just missed on the engine as the heavy favorite @ Pocono for the powerful Team Svanstedt

 

2-Purple Lord – First crop of 2018 Breeders Crown champ Tactical Landing & second foal out a sister to near $900,000 winner Phaetosive, learned some valuable NJSS experience & draws inside again

 

RACE 2

6-Chef Rocco – Walner brother to near $600,000 winner Wolfgang, a solid third in his last two NJSS events, lands in a wide-open division & likely shows gate speed again

 

3-Growin Account – Walner colt from a productive family, bounced back to finish well from post ten, moves inside & continues to trend in the right direction for Team Alagna

 

1-The Fast Lane – Muscle Hill third foal out from a $460,481 winning dam cruised wire-to-wire in his lone baby race @ Scioto Downs, lands the rail here & could be anything

 

RACE 3

7-French Wine – Bar Hopping brother to world champion French Laundry & 10th foal from Oaks champ Creamy Mimi, won his second baby race here with authority & stands out for Team Orange Crush

 

1-King Trix – Trixton 8th foal from world champion Queen Serene lands the rail fresh off a much-need acclimating mile against tougher NJSS competition

 

6-International Man – Lindy Farms first crop of O’Brien Award winner International Moni from the maternal line of Trixton, finished well in both baby races, yet the latest was a month ago

 

RACE 4

5-Bond – Southwind Frank 4th foal from a sister to Bella Bellini romped in her lone baby race for Team Svanstedt, then jogged off a sick scratch in a sharp 1:54.1, final quarter :26.3

 

1-Mambacita – First crop of 2018 TVG champ Tactical Landing & first foal from her Donato Hanover dam, crushed her NJSS debut for Team Alagna & looms large from the rail again

 

6-Graceful Patty – $100,000 Father Patrick first foal from her Kadabra dam from the family of Muscle Massive, flashed a :26 final quarter chasing Bond in her debut for Team Alagna

 

RACE 5

2-Hungry Man – First crop from 2017 O’Brien Award winner Stay Hungry & 4th foal from world champion Big Mcdeal, strong second to a well-rated Blue Lou in a sharp debut & draws an improved post for Team Alagna

 

6-Captain Planet – Captaintreacherous first foal from his American Ideal dam, baby raced well & finished a solid third behind stalemate Hungry Man in his inspiring debut

 

7-Captain’s Choice – Captaintreacherous homebred from the Alagna Armada really stepped it up to romp in his second baby race in 1:54.1, worth a long look despite a demanding post

 

RACE 6

5-Hungry Angel Boy – First crop of 2018 Cane Pace winner in 1:47.3 Stay Hungry, won his first two baby races for Team Alagna, a sizzling 1:51.4 in the second effort, then just missed with another :26.2

 

7-Captain Batboy – $200,000 Captaintreacherous second foal out of a sister to 1:50 performer Nikki Beach progressed to finish third to stablemate Hungry Angel Boy & can easily launch off the wings from a challenging post

 

8-Save America – $300,000 Captaintreacherous brother to a couple of sub 1:50 performers Stag Party & Hen Party, nothing wrong with his baby races, tough draw, but rates highly for Team Takter

 

RACE 7

2-My Anna’s Dream – Father Patrick second foal off her Muscle Hill dam jogged in both baby races, the latest in a very competitive 1:55.1, draws inside & could be a star for Team Takter

 

3-If The Shoe Fits – Father Patrick filly won her second baby race with a nice late move, then hit the board with a crisp :26.2 behind a well-rated winner & draws better for Team Alagna

 

8-Heart On Fire – Father Patrick sister to a couple of $400,000 winners Fourth Dimension & Valentina Blu, won her third baby race with plenty & commands attention despite post eight

 

RACE 8

9-Royal Filly – Chapter Seven full sister to $748,685 winner Ahundreddollarbill, 1:50.2, back-to-back baby race winner here for Team Alagna lands outside, but her latest effort stamps her as something special

 

7-Brunella – Father Patrick fourth foal from a sister to millionaire The Bank, won both Big M baby races, then crushed her PASS debut @ The Meadows for Team Takter

 

8-Yes Please – Brittany Farms bred Father Patrick filly cranked it up to go all the way in her second baby race for Team Alagna & gets a big endorsement despite post eight

 

RACE 9

4-Cultured – Captaintreacherous first foal off her Bettor’s Delight dam, cruised in both baby races, then unleashed an eye-catching rally to win her debut as the heavy favorite & draws well in a wildly competitive division for Team Toscano

 

3-Treacherousdame – Captaintreacherous filly from a family of winners, dam is a sister to Artiscape, outmuscled Team Alagna stablemate Treacherous Penny in a sharp second effort & draws inside

 

2-Treacherous Penny – $150,000 Captaintreacherous first foal from a 1:49.2 performer, won easily at first asking, then just missed to stablemate Treacherousdame, draws inside to set up an ideal stalking trip for the Alagna Armada

8-Crystal Fashion – Classy double millionaire rallied to hit the board in a much-needed comeback mile, lands outside again, but has full license to step forward with the right trip

 

7-Third Shift – Fresh threat on the comeback trail ships in off some lively efforts @ Pocono for Team Svanstedt, can step off the wings & assert himself in a wide-open field

 

10-Toccoa Falls – Seven-time winner this season in strong form, while flaunting his versatility, lands outside, but gets some class relief & knows his way around this oval

 

RACE 11

6-Blue Lou – $160,000 Sweet Lou first foal from a sister to $900,000 winner American Mercury, made a believer out of many with his scintillating 1:51.1 debut for Team Takter

 

2-Captain Van Gogh – Captaintreacherous 2nd foal out of a sister to millionaire Artspeak outsprinted stablemate Dupree Hanover with a sharp :26.2 sprint & lands inside for the vicious Alagna Armada quintet

 

1-Dupree Hanover – First crop of Stay Hungry & third foal off his Western Ideal dam, won his first two baby races, the second with a :25.4, then just missed to stablemate Captain Van Gogh & lands the rail for Team Alagna

 

RACE 12

2-Caviart Marcella – Homebred first crop of Stay Hungry & second foal off her Well Said dam, put it all together in her third baby race to gun down stablemate Caviart Davia with a :26.4 & draws inside that one

 

6-Caviart Davia – $340,000 Captaintreacherous 10th foal from world champion My Little Dragon, sister to Stay Hungry & Treacherous Dragon, terrific work in morning trials, the latest a game speed try yielding to stablemate Marcella

 

7-Seashell – $450,000 Captaintreacherous full sister to 1:47.2 millionaire Blue Diamond Eyes won her second baby race with pace at both ends & deserves serious consideration despite a challenging post

 

RACE 13

9-Monkey Queen – $450,000 sister to Gimpanzee rallied to win her opener, then just missed to Pink Coco Channel despite a well-rated effort, lands farther outside that rival, but certainly has upside

 

2-Pink Coco Channel – Rebounded with a perfect drive by Dexter Dunn to edge the heavy favorite Monkey Queen two weeks ago & lands post two again, still learning & making only her fifth career start for Team Alagna

 

3-Elegant Charm – Lightly-raced Father Patrick filly has hit the board in four of five starts, distant third behind Pink Coco Chanel, then scratched sick, but draws better for Team Orange Crush

 

RACE 14

2-Scrappin Gold – Pulled off a gallant first over upset in the GSY 1 three starts back, solid runner up from post nine in his last two & finally moves inside

 

5-Always A Force – Fresh off a game effort to just miss in the GSY 1 Series, makes his key third start off the bench from an ideal midpack stalking post

 

7-Bargain Shopper – Only two for 24 this season, but chased a runaway winner for the place spot in a strong acclimating mile & banks on a better speed set up

 

Saturday, July 16 Selections

RACE 1

2-Backstreet Shadow – Classy Team Burke millionaire has been knocking on the door, while chasing 1:47 & change winners in his last two, draws inside to stalk the speed

 

5-Billy Clyde – Suddenly erupted with a career best 1:48.1 from post nine two starts back, came right back with speed in a 1:48.4 upset from post eight despite a substantial class hike

 

1-Leon David – Regained his winning form in a big way with another class drop, fresh off that lifetime best 1:49 he lands the rail again for his third start off a sick scratch at a more competitive level

 

RACE 2

1-Raised By Lindy – At one point was ranked among the boys on the Road to the Hambo, off a win deadheat with Manon in the Reynolds, draws better & sharpens her sword further

 

6-Manon – Commands attention with her perfect five-for-five record this season, kept it alive with a mighty :26 flat to deadheat with Raised By Lindy & has major upside

 

4-Fashion Schooner – NJSS champion just missed with a strong :26.4 surge in her Reynolds division & continues to flaunt her pedigree & talent for the razor sharp Jim Campbell barn

 

RACE 3

7-Joviality S – Rated #1 on the Road to the Hambo with her perfect five-for-five record this season, including a 1:51 in the EBC & convincing post seven score in the Yonkers Trot, likely determines whether she will face the boys

 

3-Venerable – Was the Hambo Winterbook favorite, has regrouped with a couple of solid efforts & returns to The Big M fresh off a Zweig consolation score & draws well

 

4-Misswalner Fashion – Building momentum in three starts this season, a parked out third in the NJSS Final, outsprinted in a Reynolds division, stalking threat needs a bit more

 

RACE 4

2-Rebuff – Currently ranked #2 on the Hambo Top Ten list for his eye-catching :26.2 rally & new mark of 1:51.3 from post eight in the Reynolds, Breeders Crown champ peaking just right from an inside post

 

5-Fast As The Wind – #3 the past two weeks in the Hambo Top Ten after hitting #1 with a dominant Goodtimes, just missed to Rebuff in the Reynolds & looking to rebound from an off day @ Vernon Downs

 

1-Temporal Hanover – Moved up to #4 on the Road to the Hambo this week after winning the Zweig in a career best 1:52.2, consistent Team Melander trainee draws the rail for his second start off the bench

 

RACE 5

1-Ruthless Hanover – Was persistently knocking on the door recently before bumping into a 1:46 Bulldog Hanover in the Roll With Joe, rail back to reality & note the driver change

 

8-Whitecookie – The Cookie understandably crumbled after some searing fractions, just missed in 1:47.4 before that & was on a roll for Team Burke, big threat despite post eight

 

6-Rockin On Venus – Recently Team Cullipher purchase promptly repeated fresh off the acquisition, a post eight blowout in a career best 1:48.2, now faces a double class hike

 

RACE 6

8-Branded By Lindy – #5 on the Hambo Top Ten list, locked in as the heavy favorite in the EBC, then made a rare early miscue in the Zweig, now faced with a post eight rebound scenario, but has the talent

 

4- B A Superhero – #6 in the Road to the Hambo Top Ten fresh off his impressive 1:51.2 romp in the Reynolds, strong Lucas Wallin back up for Rebuff draws inside off the mile of his life

 

1-King Of The North – Ranked #9 on the Road to the Hambo, Dan Patch Award winner finally revived with a lively & close second in a Zweig consolation second time Lasix, lands the rail back here

 

RACE 7

4-Treacherous Dragon – Fan Hanover winner puts her perfect six-for-six record this season on the line, PASS standout took a 1:49.1 here, freshened & tuned up with a strong qualifier

 

5-Boudoir Hanover – Arrives @ The Big M fresh off a new mark of 1:48.3 in the Nadia Lobell @ Hoosier Park, starting to rev up her campaign & one of the main speeds for Team Alagna

 

6-Trick Of The Light – Indiana Sires Stakes star ships in on a form spree for Brian Brown, fresh off a gusty effort to just miss to Boudoir Hanover & hasn’t missed the board this season

 

RACE 8

2-When Dovescry – Classy Dan Patch Award winner & Oaks champion has started to regain top form with a pair of solid seconds in the Armbro Flight & Six Pack & draws inside to avoid traffic issues

 

5-Atlanta – Look up great trotters in history & her picture is prominently displayed, triple millionaire has come back in fine form this season, winning her second Armbro Flight, out of striking range in the Six Pack

 

3-Next Level Stuff – Went on a mission in the Six Pack & simply folded her tent, hasn’t been herself in her last two, but has certainly proven she is on par with the top ones & draws well to rebound

 

RACE 9

1-Test Of Faith – Defending HOY has come back better than ever this season, after her post ten parked out trip in the Perfect Sting she dominated the Graduate Final in a career best 1:48.1 & lands the rail to avenge her loss to Racine Bell

 

6-Racine Bell – Wow! Does this mare love The Big M or what? Went right down the road in a sizzling 1:47.4 in the Perfect Sting & sports a 43% win percentage & now faces a marquee rematch with the queen of the division

 

8-Lyons Sentinel – Lacked her usual late punch in the Roses Are Red & wasn’t close enough to make her :25.4 final quarter count in the Perfect Sting, if things get hairy up front she could be dangerous firing her best shot

 

RACE 10

7-Bulldog Hanover – The Bulldog has reeled off three straight scintillating miles here, just missed his 1:46 world record by a fifth & essentially doing it on his own, tougher post tonight, but this horse is from another planet

 

9-Rockyroad Hanover – Rocketed home in :25 for a sparkling new mark of 1:46.2 in the Roll With Joe, gigantic second in the Graduate Final last week, post nine again & banks on some mayhem

 

5-American Courage – Full revival mode is on display since the barn change, returns to The Big M fresh off a 1:47.4 explosion, stalks midpack & hopes for the right set up

 

RACE 11

11-Bella Bellini – Dan Patch Award winner & Oaks champ has been superb this season, her three-race streak includes the Six Pack & Graduate Final last week, she’s up to facing the boys despite the second tier & the added eighth helps

 

8-Rattle My Cage – Stands out among the older trotters so far this year, easily made it four in a row with a dominant wire-to-wire Graduate Final, loves to take control & looks like the one to beat in despite post eight

 

3-Ambassador Hanover – 4YO has been hinting with the moves he’s made, a close second in :26.3 two starts back, solid rally for third in the Graduate Final & draws inside for the strong Team Svanstedt quartet

 

RACE 12

6-Beach Glass – NA Cup runner up hitting his best stride blew them away in a 1:48.1 elimination, looking to avenge his great sire’s only career loss in the 2008 Pace, trainer Brent MacGrath is back & Yannick Gingras goes for his third Pace

 

3-Night Hawk – Has enjoyed a pretty solid season so far, sporting a mark of 1:48.4 in PASS, too far back in the NA Cup, flew home in :25.4 to just miss in his elimination last week & draws an improved post for The Buckeye

 

4-Market Based – Responded to aggressive handling with speed from post seven to secure a pocket ride & came away with a new mark of 1:48.4, draws better for Tall Dark Stranger lady Nancy Takter & top pilot Dexter Dunn

 

RACE 13

3-Hail Christian N – Appreciated his third straight class drop & came charging home for second behind heavy favorite Leon David, finally draws a decent post & overdue

 

6-As Always – 1:50.1 performer here this season seems to have come around in his last few, even tried the salty Graduate Series three starts back & drops a notch here

 

9-Big Chic Magnet – Recent Team Bongiorno acquisition fresh off a career best 1:50.1 blowout, moves outside, yet still considered a repeat threat

 

RACE 14

5-Bell Family – Came right back to lower his mark to 1:50.1 winning a Trackmaster Series Final, steps up for a midpack launch & continues his career revival in a wide-open finale

 

2-Our Majordan N – 10YO sports a mark of 1:47.3 here at age eight, ships in the best form of his season, winning two of his last three & draws inside a field full of question marks

 

9-Air Guitar – Went all the way in a well-rated career best 1:51.2 last week, faces a class hike & post nine, but much stronger in the win column this season
