BBQ Lover’s Paradise at the Meadowlands Racetrack this Saturday

This Saturday, June 15th, the annual BBQ Extravaganza will heat the Meadowlands Racetrack. $2,500 will be awarded, with $500 for best pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, and people’s choice. Knob Creek sponsors prizes.

From 5:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Backyard, fans can grab delicious barbecue and food truck eats from some of the finest local food trucks and restaurants in the area. Plus, fans 21+ can enjoy the $10 Knob Creek spiked Arnold Palmer at the Backyard Bar.

Vendors looking to come out on top in this year’s BBQ competition include Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, Kimchi Smoke, Michael’s Backyard BBQ, Antojitos De Mi Tierra, Fire and Coal BBQ, The Hen & The Hog, Rhythm + Ribs Smokehouse, Uncle Eddie’s Touch of Sauce, Highland Bites, and Latin Bites.

Additional food options ranging from lobster rolls to arepas are being served by Rods Fish N Chips, Cat Like Reflexes, The Jamaican Food Truck, DAW Concessions, Gringo Arepas, Holy Grail Burgers and Bitch’n Bacon.

Guests can snag some sweet treats and beverages at Uncle Bob’s Kettle Corn, TOP Tea Plug, Love JoJo’s Cookies, Totally Nutz, Wild Bill’s Craft Beverage Co., and Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream.

In addition to the excellent barbecue and snacks, fans will be treated to exciting horse racing, with the first post at 6:20 p.m
