About the cocktail base, Pisco

Pisco brandy is only made in Chile and Peru, and Pisco Porton specifically is made in Hacienda La Caravedo in Ica, Peru. Pisco is technically an unaged brandy obtained from the distillation of recently fermented Peruvian grape musts and juices therefore, like brandy, it smells and tastes a little like burnt wine. Grape notes comes from more than 15 pounds of grapes in every bottle of regular pisco. Some relate it to Tequila because of its similar herbal and almost earthy flavours.
