Special Dining, Pick 6 Carryover and Kindergarten Finals Highlight Breeders' Cup Weekend at the Meadowlands

The Meadowlands Racetrack will be a horse racing paradise on Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th with all-day and all-night racing and dining.  

 Over $31 million is up for grabs at the Breeders’ Cup from Keeneland Racecourse. On Friday, November 6th racetrack doors open at 10:30 a.m. to accommodate the early Keeneland post time of 11:30 a.m.  The first of five Breeders’ Cup races on “Future Stars Friday” is scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m.   


On Saturday, fans can watch and wager on the world-class races beginning at 10:15 a.m. (racetrack doors open at 9:30 a.m.) leading up to the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at 5:18 p.m. 

  The Lounge on the second floor of the grandstand is open both Friday and Saturday for dining beginning at 11 a.m.  Customers can enjoy a variety of appetizers including wings, loaded fries and guacamole with chips.  BBQ favorites including brisket, ribs, pulled pork and burgers are also available.

 The excitement builds up to the evening for live harness each night with racing kicking off at 7:15pm.  Friday features a $13,394 Pick 6 carryover with a $25,000 pool guarantee.  The Pick 6 is races 6-11 and free pps will be available at  On Saturday, the two year old trotters and pacers take center stage in the four $200,000 Kindergarten Finals. 

 The night-time Trotters pre fixe dining opens at 6:00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday and features a variety of seasonal dishes and signature desserts.  Reservations for Trotters dining can be made by calling 201-The-BigM.
