Dining Options at the Meadowlands Racetrack

For live racing on Friday and Saturday nights, Trotters is open with a $29.95 pre fixe menu featuring a selection of salads, entrees and a variety of desserts.  


This Friday’s menu features roasted turkey with herbs and cranberry sauce, baked cod with capers and olives, cheese ravioli and pork chop pizzaiola.  Apple pie and home-made cookies round out the meal. 


Saturday’s menu features a traditional steakhouse salad with crispy iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes and bleu cheese.  The entrees include chicken Scarpariello and NY strip steak with rice pilaf. 


Reservations are required and dining must be prepaid.  Reservations can be made by calling 201-The-BigM (201-843-2446). 


Menus for the upcoming live race weekends include: 

·         November 6th  – Fall market salad with mixed greens, bleu cheese and cranberries, roasted sirloin tips, salmon vino blanco and Tuscan lemon chicken 

·         November 7th – spicy Thai calamari, honey roasted turkey breast, herb-crusted cod, sliced steak with Cabernet Sauvignon reduction 

·         November 13th – Greek Salad, Szechuan chicken and shrimp, Vermont ham and NY strip steak 

·         November 14th – traditional Caesar salad, Sole Oreganata, grilled chicken with shiitake mushrooms, BBQ flank steak and mac & cheese

Victory Lounge and the outdoor Pavilion are also open for food and beverage service Thursday-Monday for both live racing and sports.  Diners can enjoy a variety of appetizers including wings, loaded fries and guacamole with chips.  BBQ favorites including brisket, ribs, pulled pork and burgers are also available.
