4-Captain Barbossa – This Captain set a track record of 1:47.1 back in early June, makes his second start off a long layoff & sick scratch, faces easier & draws a better post


2-Better Take It – Consistent performer @ Harrah’s Philadelphia has done well here in the past, fresh off a nose loss & in line for an ideal trip from post two



4-Mindtrip – Beaten favorite fresh off a close finish @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, sub 1:50 performer here last season gets some class relief & this classy 8YO draws well in a tricky puzzle


7-Hail Christian N – Ships south from Mohawk into the hands of Brett Pelling, twice beaten favorite one for 13 in 2021, hasn’t raced in 35 days, draws outside, but could be charging late


1-Quality Bud – 7YO veteran returns to the Big M off two straight narrow losses @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, has thrived here in the past & sets up a stalking trip from the rail



3-Tabooma – Gelding makes his third start since switching to Dylan Davis, flashed a :25.4 two starts back, then chance from post nine, transitions from Hoosier Park, gets class & post relief


9-Red Right Hand – Captaintreacherous colt has promptly gone two-for-two on Lasix @ Harrah’s Philadelphia for Team Takter, fresh off a new mark of 1:50 look for a blast off from post nine


5-His Beats Hanover – Team Burke trainee just finished a solid second to Red Right Hand in the Simpson, only one for 14 this season, but his stalking style & big kick could payoff



8-Test Of Faith – Division standout went two-for-two in Red Mile Grand Circuit action, including a dazzling 1:48.3 mark, she can step off the wings to overcome post eight, but this won’t be easy 


9-Fire Start Hanover – 2020 Breeders Crown winner steamrolled first over & just missed with a gutsy effort from post ten, stuck outside again, yet this relentless filly simply can’t be dismissed


5-Grace Hill – PASS champion was able to carve one out & hold off a roughed up stablemate Fire Start Hanover, a solid confidence builder as she faces a rematch with Test Of Faith



5-Ramona Hill – 2020 Hambo winner with only five starts this season, flashed late trot back on Lasix here, look for her to step up with a better start from midpack


2-Atlanta – Gingras said she wasn’t nearly on her game, yet still commanded the elimination, reeled of a world record 1:49 before that, looks for her first BC in five finals


7-When Dovescry – Ultra consistent & well-decorated daughter of Muscle Hill was right there with a game grind last week & goes for her first BC in four finals



2-Charlie May – Pride of Ohio has successfully danced several since his Pace DQ, held off Perfect Sting when he stole a :57.2 half in the Bluegrass, impressive rally to win his elimination


5-Perfect Sting – 2020 Breeders Crown champ in only win deadheat in series history, picture of consistency & gutsy performer prepped perfectly for a marquee showdown with Charlie


1-Southwind Gendry – Team Burke trainee back on the rail off a solid second to Charlie May, took his mark of 1:49.1 in a Pace elimination over a sloppy track & in top form right now



3-Bella Bellini – Hambo Oaks champ has maintained her consistency this Fall, that was a methodic wrapped up rally from post seven, finally draws inside to stalk n pop again for Nifty


5-Altar – Rebounded from a rare miscue @ The Red Mile & unleashed an emphatic elimination, her 1:50.3 mark in the Bluegrass is worth noting & she owns dangerous controlling speed


10-Herculisa – Put forth an excellent & aggressive acclimating mile for Ohio King Virgil Morgan, Jr., slammed with post ten again, but she can blast off again & play opportunist 



4-Cuatro De Julio – With a shoeing issue solved & return to top form in Lexington, the big, strong Trixton colt unleashed a strong rally to upset Jujubee, looks like we haven’t seen his best yet 


6-Jujubee – Track record holder & KY Futurity winner supplemented & saw his six-race winning streak snapped, but the son of Creatine remains a serious threat to lock it down in the Crown 


2-Ambassador Hanover – Team Svanstedt removed his shoes, took advantage of the rail & reeled off a career best of 1:51.2, note his big effort to hit the board in the Hambo from post nine



2-Peaky Sneaky – Hard to believe this 2020 Breeders Crown upsetter is 0 for 14 this season, just missed with a mighty late surge in the elimination, draws inside & Peaky peaking at a price


4-Lyons Sentinel – HOY leader was a tad too far out of range, still paced home in :26.3 after missing three weeks, was on a 7-race winning streak & now draws better to atone


1-Rocknificent – Followed up her 1:48 track record @ The Red Mile with a perfect trip elimination score, ultra consistent mare now lands the rail to set up another ideal stalking scenario



3-Ecurie D DK – European star looked the part in his qualifier here with a :26.3 on his own, then crushed in the Allerage Farms & draws inside to take charge for Team Svanstedt


1-Warrawee Roo – Third in the 2018 edition, then missed two entire seasons, back with a vengeance in the Mohawk Preferred, swooped them in the Open, draws the rail & gives Luc Blais a strong 1-2 punch


2-Forbidden Trade – 2019 Hambo champ & O’Brien HOY won the Crawford Farms here & Caesars @ Hoosier, runner up in the Maple Leaf Trot & Allerage Farms, cozy inside draw



8-Allywag Hanover – Division kingpin prepped perfectly on a five race winning streak, world mark of 1:46.4 under his bridle, work to do from post eight, but a Crown locks it down


5-Cattlewash – Went back on Lasix & nosed out with a super elimination, this 1:46.4 world champion has the Graduate Final & Haughton on his 2021 resume, dangerous stalker


4-This Is The Plan – Makes his fifth Breeders Crown appearance off a sharp elimination upset, back half in :53.3 from post eight, now draws better to give Team Burke a titanic trio



8-Semi Tough – Took on his stablemate Covered Bridge first over & still paced home in :26.4 last week, moves outside, but makes his second start off the bench & got nosed out in 1:48.3 here in mid-September


6-Twin B Tuffenuff – Just missed to the raging Vettel N back-to-back in September, has caught a case of seconditis, but this Team Burke looks like the one to gun down 


7-Stone Hanover – Beaten even money favorite just missed with a perfect trip last week, sub 1:50 performer this season on a real good roll right now & looms large



1-Dunbar Hall – Tangled with Open company @ Hoosier Park, missed a month prior to his acclimating mile last week, strong in the win column & lands the rail again for Team Cullipher


6-Get Legs – Tuned up nicely & promptly delivered for the chalk players in a career best of 1;52.1 fresh off the bench, Team Orange Crush 4YO has something more to build on


4-King’s County – Added trotting hopples & bounced back with a solid third, sport’s a mark of 1:52.1 here last season, makes only his third start of the year & draws well for a hot barn
