2-Donna Soprano – O’Brien Award winner regaining form for Luc Blais, solid runner up in her last two, draws better for Dube, has a chance to take charge & steal this one


7-Ineffable – This Cantab Hall filly really turned her game around with a decisive wire-to-wire career best of 1:53.3 @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, tough post, but may go a long way for Team Melander



1-Dancinginthedark M – Moved up to #1 this week on the Road to the Hambo with an outstanding 1:51.4 score in a driving rain last week & lands the rail for what might be his final tune up


5-Take All Comers – Rated #7 & gathering momentum for Jim Campbell, this gelding by Creatine followed up his PASS upset with a solid second to Dancinginthedark M last week, an excellent acclimating mile


4-Brookview Bolt – Indiana Sires Stakes shipper has caught fire for Team Burke, gelding arrives fresh off the mile of his life with a :26.3, not Hambo eligible, yet could surprise



4-Lady Chaos – 2020 Breeders Crown champ has come back strong this season for Team Toscano, just missed with a well-rated effort in the Reynolds before the rain came & she can do it either way


3-Darlene Hanover – Empire Breeders Classic winner bumped into a revved up favorite Piper Hanover in the Reynolds last week & this steady filly draws well to stay on a roll 


2-Iteration – NYSS champion & Grand Circuit stakes winner faded in her most recent over an off track @ Tioga Downs, romped in the Yonkers slop before that, draws inside to flaunt her speed here



5-Hot Mess Express – Kicked off her five-for-five season here with a mighty post ten sweep in 1:50, has continued her impressive streak @ Hoosier Park & returns fresh off a dominant new mark of 1:49.1


6-Fire Start Hanover – 2020 Dan Patch Award winner & Breeders Crown champion thwarted by a sick scratch on June 26, bounced back with a nice qualifier here last week & may be ready for the Hot Mess


4-Grace Hill – Runner up in the PASS Final at two, ramped it up in her last two, with a solid second here, then chased Hot Mess Express @ Hoosier Park, draws inside to employ her stalking opportunist strategy



5-Atlanta – Fastest trotter in Big M history & well-decorated mare has come back in rip-roaring fashion, steamrolled first over in the Joie De Vie, Yannick Gingras was raving about her post race, she’s no doubt fresh n ready for her marquee match up


3-Manchego – Fastest female trotter in history reeled off her first three out of brief retirement, right there with a game grind in the Crawford Farms, draws inside to stalk close in what could be a dramatic sprint


1-When Dovescry – 2019 Dan Patch Award & Oaks champion has been rock solid this season, runner up to Atlanta again from post 11 over an off track two weeks ago, now lands the rail to threaten the top two



6-JK First Lady – Multiple stakes winner at two & three finished a solid third in the Artiscape, tough trips before that, might be ready to deliver a knockout punch here for Team Takter


2-Gia’s Surreal – Steady threat in the Open ranks @ Yonkers, grinded gamely from post eight in a world record Artiscape, rewarded with an improved post, strong in the win column & may try to go all the way


10-Lyons Sentinel – She has come back in wicked form this season, fresh off a dazzling world record of 1:48 in the Artiscape, can rough it a long way & obviously she can’t be dismissed despite post ten



2-Century Farroh – 2020 O’Brien Award HOY came out of a shuffle with minor spoils in the Roll With Joe, millionaire draws an improved post off that acclimating mile, stalks the speed & might be sitting on a big one 


6-Allywag Hanover – Hip #42 in Sunday’s Mixed Sale, a Graduate division winner from post eight on June 5, nosed out Cattlewash two starts back, out of striking range in the Graduate Final, the fast pace expected would set up his big kick


4-Backstreet Shadow – Team Burke stalwart uncorked back-to-back Preferred wins & lowered his mark to 1:47.3 last month, got torched from post nine in the Roll With Joe & finally draws a decent post 



3-Hypnotic AM – Graduate division winner in 1:50.3 back on June 5, grinded gallantly for second in the sloppy track Graduate Final, draws better here to work out her patented stalk n pop style


12-Ready For Moni – 2020 Hambo runner up has come back in top form for Team Takter, put it all together in a nifty 1:50.3 Graduate Final on a sloppy track, post 12 can be a serious handicap, but he has the class & form to overcome 


1-Next Level Stuff – This daughter of Sebastian K has been stellar in the Miss Versatility Series, had to close from too far back in the Joie De Vie, both May wins came from the rail, so this sets up nicely, yet she’s off Lasix



5-Lawless Shadow – O’Brien Award winner sat the pocket & just missed to Southwind Gendry with a sharp :25.2 last week, will fire out & try to employ a similar tactic off that superb acclimating mile in one of the most wide-open Pace Finals in years


1-Perfect Sting – You don’t go 10-for-10 as a freshman at the top level without being a class individual, thwarted by sickness this Spring, the Dan Patch Award winner is regaining form, closed into a :52.3 back half last week & lands the rail


4-Southwind Gendry – Freshened by Team Burke & sharpened with a post seven wire-to-wire career best of 1:49.1 in the mud last week, PASS champion high in the win column, draws well & will be part of the speed equation



4-Cattlewash – Last year’s world record setter at 1:46.4 stormed home off a hot pace to upset the Graduate Final, equaling the season’s fastest of 1:47.1 last week, finally draws inside for a marquee match up of Team Burke trainees


7-This Is The Plan – The sport’s dominant FFAer this season with a stunning world record 1:47.3 in the Battle of Lake Erie, paid off with a patient rally off a fast pace in the Roll With Joe & riding high right now for Team Burke


8-Workin Ona Mystery – Classy son of Captaintreacherous only making his fourth start of 2021, tuned up with a close second in a deadheat just a head back of This Is The Plan & can blast off the wings to overcome post eight



3-Venerate – Dan Patch Award, Mohawk Million winner & Hambo Winterbook favorite rated #2 this week, bounced back off a break with a gutsy uncovered score in the slop from post nine, rewarded with an improved post for a confident Team Orange Crush


5-Cuatro De Julio – Dropped down to #9 in the Road to Hambo Top Ten, first three starts here this season were excellent, just missed in the NJSS Final, freshened with an easy qualifier @ The Red Mile & ramps up for the big prize


2-Captain Corey – PASS champion at two, romped @ Pocono back on May 31, then miscued after missing 23 days, rebounded with a strong Big M qualifier, draws inside & adds muscle to the Team Svanstedt Hambo battalion 



7-Sandbetweenmytoes – 2020 Breeders Crown shocker has tangled with tough Graduate foes in 4YO transition season, suddenly unleashed wicked speed @ Harrah’s Philadelphia last out, which may signal another big effort is coming


5-American History – 1:47.2 performer here back on May 15 has faded in his last few, hasn’t raced in three weeks, but this Team Alagna millionaire gets some needed class relief & that might spell rebound


9-Shoobee Doo A – Was on a serious roll on smaller tracks before he unfurled a game grind & narrow loss here in :25.4 in the slop last week, stuck outside, but he figures to have ample speed to shoot at



5-Dojea Gizmo – Took a mark of 1:50.2 here this season, freshened recently, ships back off a narrow loss @ Scioto Downs, launches midpack for his key third start off the bench


4-Covered Bridge – One for 12 this season & long overdue, a solid third last week, draws better & gets another shot at this reduced level for Team Burke


6-Dealer’s Table – Brushed n crushed weaker stock & went down the road with a new mark of 1:49 in the mud last week, capable of stepping back up for Team Cullipher



3-Better Take It – Just missed from far off the pace in :25.4 two starts back, uncorked a :25.3 out of range behind Lou’s Pearlman last week & now draws better on the verge


4-Billy Clyde – Improving 3YO right there third behind Better Take It on July 3, then carved out speed & nosed out by Lou’s Pearlman last week, draws an improved post to turn the tables 


5-Lou’s Pearlman – PASS player skimmed the cones off a strong pace & nailed the speedy Billy Clyde for the sparkling 1:47.4 upset last week & can’t rule out a repeat for Team Burke
