6-Bourbon Express – Left sharply, got stuffed in & shuffled, then finished well in traffic last week, two acclimating miles, barn always ships in live & has license to show more

 

5-Treasured Tee – Took advantage of a dip in class & the rail to finish a close second last week, Team Burke trainee bumped back up, yet brimming with confidence

 

2-Double Account – Bounced back big time with a successful down-the-road mission in the slop against Resita & easier company, draws better for Team Cullipher after regaining his winning form

 

RACE 2

3-Exploit – 2020 Metro upsetter rated #3 on the Road to the Pace last week before his loss in the slop last Sunday, beat Gamblin Mo @ Pocono before that, Team Alagna pupil switches to Dexter Dunn

 

2-South Beach Star – Brother to Highalator left his mark here with back-to-back wins, returns for Team Pelling off another two in a row in the TSS in PA & draws inside to flaunt his speed & potential

 

4-Gamblin Mo – Two wins & two seconds in four starts this season, runner up to Exploit & Abuckabett Hanover in PASS, draws well with speed & versatility in his arsenal

 

RACE 3

9-Sugartown – Pegged this one when he was ramping up since the late-April sick scratch & appeared on the verge, uncorked to mile of life & can’t rule out a repeat 

 

2-Bettor Notbitter A – 9YO finished a solid third last week & claimed by Team Cullipher, draws inside again & this steady sort can capitalize on an ideal stalking scenario

 

8-TJ Blast – The Blaster figures to do just that from a tougher post fresh off the claim last week, beaten favorite just one for 19 this season, but note the barn pulled off a Justin Credible shocker back on May 7

 

RACE 4

2-Hypnotic AM – Millionaire was absolutely airborne in :26.3 to just miss in the first leg, third start off the bench for this NYSS star from a better post, prime opportunist if Beads somehow falters

 

3-Beads – 4YO that has given Per Engblom nightmares has turned it around with back-to-back 1:50.2 sizzlers with trotting hopples added, draws an improved post to take charge & continue building momentum 

 

6-Amigo Volo – Two-time Breeders Crown champ & Dan Patch Award winner racing into shape, no factor in the sloppy track Maxie Lee, runner up to Beads before that, might be ready to step up now

 

RACE 5

7-Shake That House – 2019 Progress Pace winner & 1:47.4 Vernon Downs track record holder on the comeback trail with Lasix, drops again after an early miscue for Team Alagna & worth a long look in a wide-open field

 

3-Franco Totem N – Has been on the fringes against some of the top ones, gets the class & post relief he needs & has a big chance to employ his stalking style in a real handicapper’s headscratcher

 

2-Wes Delight – Runner up to a raging 1:48.1 Heza A Real Diamond two starts back, drops back down to that level & lands post two again to give Team Alagna a 1-2 punch

 

RACE 6

3-Ready For Moni – 2020 Hambo runner overcame post ten & an impossible trip to nail his 4YO debut in dramatic fashion for Team Takter, moves inside & looks poised to tackle these deeper waters

 

2-It’s Academic – Charlie Hill winner held on to win an opening round division for Team Burke, draws inside off a post eight parked out trip in the sloppy track Maxie Lee

 

5-Play Trix On Me – No factor after slow starts in the Cutler & Graduate first leg, then lived up to his tote hype with a career best 1:52.1 from the rail last week, two-time NJSS champion sharpened to play with more serious foes

 

RACE 7

3-Fire Start Hanover – Dan Patch Award winner flew home in :26.2 from out of range when Lovely Donna stole it last time, now moves inside off that excellent tightener

 

10-Rocknificent – Has run into some road trouble & sloppy track in the Betsy Ross, now post ten, but she’s gathering momentum on the comeback trail & figures to have speed to shoot at in this competitive affair

 

9-Bestseller Hanover – Finished a hard-charging third in her second start off the bench last week, draws farther outside, but she could be dangerous with the right set up & live cover flow trip

 

RACE 8

2-Warrawee Vital – 1:47.1 Captaintreacherous 4YO has come back in raging form for Ron Coyne, Jr., just missed in the first two legs, then held off Poseidon Hanover in 1:48 & draws inside

 

5-Poseidon Seelster – Has won three of four here for the prolific Nik Drennan barn, dove to the inside & eked out a three-ply photo in round two, three-week layoff & seeks to turn the tables on Captain Barbossa

 

6-Captain Barbossa – The Jug winner romped in his first two starts this season & took a new mark of 1:48.4 in the first Graduate leg, left in the wake of an explosive Allywag Hanover last week, big off-the-pace threat for Team Alagna

 

RACE 9

3-Gotwuteverittakes – Draws better off a no-chance trip, nosed out by Chin Chin Hall with a furious rally before that, took a new mark of 1:52.3 back on April 3, in line for a smooth trip with The Minister back in the bike

 

6-Weslynn Quest – Nosed out by Graduate entrant Ready For Moni two starts back, then just missed to Miss Versatility standout Next Level Stuff, she might be on the verge of putting one across in a supreme puzzle

 

4-Chin Chin Hall – Has notched three of five on the comeback trail & lowered his mark to 1:51.4, classy 5YO draws post four again fresh off an easy romp in the slop & figures to be firing off the wings

 

RACE 10

8-Allywag Hanover – Took a few starts for the real Allywag to show up on Lasix & he destroyed Captain Barbossa & company last week, lands outside here, but has sharpened his sword for Team Pelling

 

1-Ruthless Hanover – Has returned in vicious form, overcoming outside draws with decisive brush n crush moves, the latest in a career best 1:48, three weeks off, but on the rail looking to go three-for-three in the series

 

7-Cattlewash – Fastest performer of 2020 by virtue of his 1:46.4 world record in the Bluegrass, won both qualifiers with plenty of late pace, draws a challenging post, but looks ready to roll for Team Burke

 

RACE 11

3-Chaser Hanover – Chaser was right there in the photo when American History reeled off the 1:47.2 two starts back, gets the class & post relief he needs, note the strong winning percentage & his barn’s solid season

 

5-Im Sir Blake A – Overcame post eight to score his first US win two starts back, then got torched first over from post ten, Aussie import draws better gathering steam & leads an Andrew Harris 1-2 punch

 

6-Ideal Feeling – 1:48.4 performer here last season has hit the board in both starts here from the same post, look for him to leave out of there again to be a trip-sitting opportunist in a very intriguing puzzle

 

RACE 12

3-A Major Omen – Sports a 1:49.2 mark here last year, returns to The Big M fresh off a couple of tightening miles @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, gets class relief & draws inside

 

5-De Los Cielos Deo – Classy Team Burke trainee & beaten favorite forced into a pace setting mode, he’s more effective making one big late move & remains down in class 

 

10-Italian Delight N – Horse-for-the-course back at The Big M off a vigorous placing @ Yonkers, stuck outside, but has the class & speed to overcome 

 

RACE 13

5-Sundown Kid – Fresh off a new mark of 1:48.4 two starts back he exploded from a three-hole trip to a visually impressive repeat last week, 4YO & his connections are hot

 

7-Ana Afreet N – Drops out of the Preferred ranks after getting blitzed in a 1:47.2 mile, has a chance to regain his winning edge for Team Cullipher

 

3-Angers Bayama – Twice beaten favorite somehow caught in a first over grind from the rail, 1:48 performer here last year draws inside again to atone for Team Alagna

 

RACE 14

1-Art Scaping – Trounced this kind with a new mark of 1:52.4 back on April 30, refreshed & qualified with some vigor & lands the rail in a soft finale

 

6-Stirling Ensign – 0 for his last 26, but hasn’t had much luck in the post department, that was a decent rally for third over an off track last week

 

8-Mister Hat – Went from awesome in his amazing debut here to empty when bumped up to the $10,000 level last week, has a chance to bounce back despite another outside post in a completely wide-open scramble
