9-Apostles Creed – Dam is a sister to Kathy Parker, 1:56.1 [$343,797], Takter trainee was a $120,000 yearling, just one for 18, qualified well without trotting hopples, tough draw in a soft opener

3-Bjanthony – Lightly-raced 4YO won his first qualifier here after switching barns, there’s some upside here, the draw was kind & there’s not much to beat

7-Muscles My Way – Finally stopped an 0 for 18 losing skid with a convincing wire-to-wire win at Harrah’s Philly, now we’re looking at a 36-day layoff & demanding post, difficult to gauge

3-Cash Me Out – Stormed home in :27.2 to win the Open on Boxing Day, then had too far to come, improved post gives him stalking potential

7-Uva Hanover – Came around after the recent sick scratch & tripped out to an easy score last week, may be too much to deal with off the mile of his life

4-March Awareness – Nailed the favorite Lauderdale with a perfect trip & trot on both ends from post nine, Burke trainee can certainly build on that

3-Rightly Said – She has been toiling against better at Harrah’s Philly, now gets the all important barn change to Michael Russo & draws well

4-Private Performance – She has dropped some positive hints recently, thundered home to hit the board in the photo last week, stalking threat

2-Lexus Artist – Just one for 28 last year, decent speed try two starts back, post 10 last week in a relatively fast 1:52.3 mile, better post here

1-Fox Valley Legend – Exploded from far back again to destroy $12,500 foes at a mile & one eighth, flew home to get up by a nose before that, draws better in a pretty competitive field

2-Lazurus – Only one for 25 in 2015, but this gelding has sharpened his form, particularly with the drop to this level, moves inside off the narrow loss to House Of Cash

8-House Of Cash – Dropped back to face $15,000 foes, was able to steal a :58.2 half & hold off Lazurus, threat to repeat despite another challenging assignment

4-Two Hip Dip – Gelding qualified well then flashed some keen late trot from an impossible spot, 1:53.4 winner here last season looks good to go second start off the bench

5-Xtatic Hanover – Burke trainee followed up a decisive score with a solid rally to hit the ticket at this level & his post improves

1-Never Ever Clever – Won both qualifiers with vim & vigor, then got a bit too aggressive & tired in his comeback, expect more speed from the rail

2-Misssomebeachblue – Used twice & just missed by a nose to the very good Gweneeee J last week, faced Preferred level mares at The Meadows before that

4-American Truth – Has cycled forward at Dover Downs, fresh off a bruising effort & narrow loss, ships into the Team Orange Crush stable & draws well

6-Capela – Note the close second in a wicked :26.3 back on 12-11 a notch higher than this, a game third in a dead heat with Purity last out, major threat for Team Burke

2-Hot Type – Steady Team Burke shipper regained his winning edge with a perfect trip two starts back at The Meadows, then had no chance at their Preferred level, ideal draw here

1-Worth The Money AS – Was pace compromised & overmatched stepping up to the Open 2 level, just missed against these before that & now moves inside

5-Danish Durango – Stepped up off the easy win & chased a revved up Upfront Billy last time, contender in sharp form

7-Go Byem – Gelding with a mark of 1:53 here last season has come back winning all three at Dover Downs, picks up Super Brett & threatens to take control

3-Cincinnati Miss – Parlayed her raging Saratoga form into a career best blowout here back on 12-18, has missed a month of action & this is a bit tougher

1-Azucar – Showed steady form elsewhere before lagging at the back here last time, has a chance to stalking the clear speed & make a late move

2-Hyway Marcus – Just missed with a gutsy effort first time Lasix on 12-11, then overmatched in his last two at the Open level, Burke trainee lands in prime position back in the Open 2

1-Detroit Rapper – Launched his usual rally from out of the clouds to hit the board last week after a miscue in the Open, moves all the way inside sporting a hefty 11 for 32 record in 2015

9-Upfront Billy – Dropped out of the Open & posted another strong win, owns gate speed to overcome the outside draw & thrives on being part of the pace scenario

5-Tessa Seelster – Fresh Team Burke trainee was tangling with Preferred stock at Woodbine, qualified in hand here & will take plenty of action

9-Montenegro – Iron tough, productive mare made some headway in the Open Handicap at Dover Downs, fresh off a well controlled win, has the speed to overcome her outside assignment

2-Gweneeee J – Came out of a traffic trouble tightener to produce a game score as the heavy favorite from post nine last week, mare with upside moves inside

1-Money On My Mind – Freshened with a few months off, won the qualifier with loads of late life & returns in a softer spot for the Burke Brigade

2-Quiet Giant – Steady check earner needed to acclimate to the Big M, lands post two again & has a chance to stalk n step up

5-Independence AS – Only three starts last year, third try after a long layoff, gelding drops to face a more likely scenario

4-Twin B Elite – Tailed off near the end of the Harrah’s Philly meet, had no chance from post ten here last week in a much-needed race & now drops dangerously1-Majest

6-My Caroline – Dropped to the bottom rung & tripped out with Gingras in a career best 1:52.3, chance to step up & keep it going

1-Up Front Kellie Jo – Rugged mare with 50 races last year has cycled forward, tried to steal one & faded to third, moves inside & likely part of the pace

1-Majestic Stone – 1:54.4 winner here last season racing okay at Harrah’s Philly, drops to face a bottom level field of question marks, maybe the 35-day layoff will serve as welcome freshening

4-Keystone Trevor – Hinted of better with some recent class relief at Woodbine, had a trip over this track on 12-11, yet here’s another 35-day layoff candidate tough to gauge

7-Wishin Iwas Fishin – Took a few weeks off after an easy win at Saratoga, qualified well enough here to be major factor against this bunch

2-Game Of Dreamers – Crushed these second time Lasix in 1:52.1, then ran into a revved up My Caroline from post nine after missing 35 days, draws better in high gear right now

1-Delta Dawn Hanover – Switched to Kyle Spagnola & finished a solid second as the beaten favorite at Saratoga, hasn’t raced in 35 days, yet figures to be a pace presence from the pole

7-Sir Lehigh Z Tam – Beaten favorite failed to menace & settled for third behind Game Of Dreamers, she’s come around, but her 3 for 39 record in 2015 is an obvious concern
