Breeders Crown Eliminations

Saturday, October 17 at Woodbine

2-Reverend Hanover – Lightly-raced Casie Coleman trainee has gotten on a late-season surge, he flashed sharp speed when chasing Artspeak in the Simcoe & lands inside off a down-the-road effort in the OSS Super Final & obviously has some upside

5-Freaky Feet Pete – Speedy & talented colt with a wicked brush punched his supplement ticket with a rousing score over Wiggle It Jiggleit, has simply torn apart Indiana & deserves a chance to prove himself on a grand stage

3-Yankee Bounty – Adios runner up has frequently been on the fringes against top colts, ships in brimming with confidence off a well-controlled score at The Meadows for Team Burke

4-Dudes The Man – The Adios winner has fallen off form at an inopportune time, although he had excuses in two of his last three, draws well here to rebound with a stalk & surge trip

7-Wicked Little Minx – Bounced back from her eighth in the Jugette by upsetting heavy favorite Better Be Steppin in the Bluegrass, launched prematurely in the Glen Garnsey, she’s come around at the right time

4-Southwind Roulette – Steady Burke tuned filly looks to stop an 0 for 13 skid in 2015, a close third in the PASS Final & runner up to her stablemate in the Jugette, has a terrific opportunity to stalk the ample speed in this split

2-Solar Sister – Local threat gets another shot against Grand Circuit fillies fresh off a rousing upset in the OSS Super Final over Woodbine, draws well to employ her stalking speed for Team McNair

8-Rock Me Gently – Regained her winning edge with an easy win in PA, then stormed home for a big upset in the Glen Garnsey in a career best 1:50.2, looks for a similar set up from post eight here

5-Artspeak – Reeled off the mile off his life in the Tattersalls after coming up short in the Jug, last year’s freshman champion has had his moments & looks ready to fire his best shot under the bright Crown spotlight

3-Wakizashi Hanover – NA Cup winner has fashioned a superb season, adding the PASS Final & Jenna’s Beach Boy, tuned up with solid score at The Meadows & may be the target from an inside post

4-Lost For Words – Nobody knows how he lost the Jug Final, then he just missed to Artspeak in the Tattersalls from post ten, very consistent Brian Brown trainee looms large

1-Dealt A Winner – Equaled a world record of 1:47.3 with an explosive lunge in the Cane Pace, lands the pole fresh off two straight wins against older foes in PA & picks up Gingras

7-Stacia Hanover – Still recall her eye-catching rally to upset in the Shady Daisy, tuned up on the come back trail with a couple of races at Pocono & she belongs with these on her best day

6-Divine Caroline – Peaking perfectly for a late-season run, won both Grand Circuit events at The Red Mile & fresh off a career best 1:49.2 in the Glen Garnsey, just needs to time her brush right

9-Sassa Hanover – Hasn’t raced since her decisive two-heat score in the Jugette, this Burke trainee has speed & the winning habit & there’s plenty of speed for her to shoot at here

4-Bedroomconfessions – Rallied to a convincing win in the Bluegrass over an off track & had too far to come chasing Divine Caroline, look for her to be within closer range from a better post here

4-Mcwicked – 2014 Breeders Crown champion & now fresh 4YO has been rounding into form for Casie Coleman, closed from a tough spot to grab second in the Allerage Farm & license to surprise this group

7-JK Endofanera – Dan Patch Pace winner squandered a perfect trip in the Canadian Pacing Derby, exploded home to his second straight win in the Allerage Farm & looks like the one to beat

6-Shamballa – WEG circuit Preferred star stormed home off a hot pace to finish second in the Canadian Pacing Derby, runner up to State Treasurer in the Dayton Derby, logically can’t fault his form right now

5-Foiled Again – Legendary richest pacer in history & 2013 Crown champion has started in five Breeders Crown Open Pace events & hasn’t missed a check, can never be dismissed, used hard in the Canadian Pacing Derby, looks for the right pace & flow

4-State Treasurer – The division leader was too head strong & came up with a rare flat effort in the Allerage Farm, has had a long, hard season, but is simply too tough, look for him to rebound back on home turf

1-Always B Miki – Brilliant 4YO making only his second start off a long injury layoff, Takter has done his usual great job to tighten the screws, lands the pole to force his hand early

2-Mach It So – Several things happened which led to his Haughton win, draws inside off a three-race winning streak & remains a sharp opportunist

3-Bettors Edge – One of five Burke trainees going after this Crown, a solid third in the Allerage Farm, picks up Brian Sears, draws well & always a threat from a close-up stalking position
