Friday Night Buffets at Meadowlands Racetrack

Beginning Friday, November 2, Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment’s Friday Night Pink buffet will feature a seasonal harvest theme through the end of November.

The Friday buffet is $29.95, excluding tax & gratuity, and includes appetizers, soup, main courses, side dishes and dessert.  Some of the featured harvest dishes include:

·         Butternut squash bisque with pumpkin seeds

·         Warm spinach artichoke dip with chips

·         Harvest salad with mixed greens, apples, dried cranberries, quinoa, pecans and bleu cheese

·         Home-made tagliatelle with fennel & white beans in a pumpkin sauce

·         Slow cooker beef brisket cooked with pumpkin beer

·         Braised chicken with bacon & cranberries

·         Maple syrup glazed Atlantic salmon with oranges

·         Locally grown roasted brussels sprouts, carrots & squash

·         Home-made desserts including pumpkin, apple and pecan pies

“I wanted to create menus that reflect our area’s bountiful produce during this time of year,” said Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment’s Executive Chef Dennis Sammarone. “We always want to highlight locally sourced and seasonal ingredients on our buffet.”

On Saturday nights the buffet remains at $39.95. Live harness racing post time is 7:15 p.m.
