1-Island Of The Sea – Lightly-raced 4YO prospect purchased by Eric Ell, 1:48.4 Indiana Sires Stakes winner @ Hoosier Park, favored in both starts back @ Dover Downs, roughed up in most recent & lands the rail here in a field of question marks
7-Environs Hanover – Reeled off three straight in lively style, his latest a post seven blowout before fading badly on an easy lead after missing three weeks, obviously wasn’t himself & missed a couple of weeks, but dangerous if able to rebound
4-Barrage Hanover – 4YO was beginning to blossom for Chris Ryder, just missed with sharp pace at both ends two starts back before finishing a sluggish sixth last week, draws well with the talent to bounce back
RACE 3
1-Whittaker N – Chased a surprisingly good 1:50 winner Like Clockwork in last Saturday’s opener, regaining form since the late February sick scratch, drops another notch, lands the rail again & retains Tetrick
3-Good Rockin – Twice beaten favorite just one for 12 this season, parked first over in his last two, still held for third last week, draws post three again, keeps A Mac, horse-for-the-course remains at the bottom level
4-Hudsen A – Possible fresh angle price play here, qualified against Preferred class Vettel N, was a fringe player in tougher classes @ Yonkers, draws well to trip out & barn also has 2-Kerrin Joseph A
RACE 4
1-Covered Bridge – 1:48.3 performer @ The Big M in 2020 beat Harambe Deo in the comeback qualifier, then forced wide from an impossible spot, back half in :54.1, now gets class & post relief for his second try off the bench
5-Cliffhanger – Really let them have it with a dominant score at this level two starts back & took a new mark of 1:50.3 in the process, drops back down for a midpack launch & retains The Minister of Speed
4-Like Clockwork – Uncorked a turnaround mission with a drop n pop, while equaling his lifetime mark of 1:50 last week, now draws better to employ the same strategy for the step back up
RACE 5
3-Rose Run Vantage – Team Cullipher certainly had her ready fresh off the bench & capitalized on a smooth three-hole ride from post seven, just a fifth off her mark, rewarded with an improved post in a sharp field
6-April Ava – Perfect trips have paved the way to go two-for-two here for Team Burke, lowered her mark to 1:51 with a :26.2, then stepped up & nailed a 7-1 upset, has missed a couple of weeks & tougher post, but has some upside
5-Betalady – Can’t forget those impressive rallies to score back-to-back in late February, roughed up & broke two weeks ago, could have some speed to shoot at here & a bounce back effort puts her in play

4-Nows the Moment – Beaten favorite, off a big qualifier unleashed a lively comeback mile from post nine & finished a sharp second in a deadheat, 1:51.3 performer here last season follows up with an improved post
7-JL Cruze – The King returns to the scene of his winter exploits, winning three of his last four here, needed his most recent @ Dover Downs after missing 24 days & reunited with Dexter Dunn
6-Scirocco Rob – Bounced back to beat JL Cruze among others in the Dover Downs Open & equaled his mark of 1:51.3, also won his last start here wire-to-wire, versatile gelding strong in the win column
RACE 7
5-U S Captain – Stormed home to surprise them from post ten three starts back, then got parked first over, sprinted home to hit the board with extra vigor last week
4-Franco Totem N – Shrugged off the sick scratch & left alertly to trip out & upset Harambe Deo last week, draws inside to build on his momentum
7-Harambe Deo – Beaten favorite came up a tad shy to Franco Totem N in his comeback for Team Cullipher, 1:48.3 performer here in 2020 is tighter now

2-Reign Of Honor – Fought off late pressure & dominated his 5YO debut in a career best 1:52.1, now draws inside for Team Melander with the May 15 Cutler on his horizon
4-Cupid Hanover – Red-hot Father Patrick 4YO ships in after four of his last five @ Dover Downs, brother to Glidemaster draws well for a serious test here
9-Gotwuteverittakes – 5YO has really gotten his act in high gear since the late February sick scratch, stormed home in :26.4 to nail the 6-1 upset in a career best 1:52.1, moves outside, but figures to get a speed target

5-Poseidon Seelster – Everything the barn sends south is primed n dangerous, this 4YO makes his second start off the bench with Lasix added & kicks off the stable’s 1-2 punch in this match up
1-Always And Again – Was able to take control & went on unchallenged to score his third win in his last four starts, red-hot Dylan Davis trainee moves inside a field full of live possibilities
6-Nicholas Beach – Qualified with zeal, then unfurled a down-the-road romp as the heavy favorite @ Pocono, this is a fresh & live prospect for Team Bongiorno likely looking to leave & stalk the speed

5-Lifeonthebeach – Freshened & qualified behind Preferred class entrant Vettel N, eight for 24 last year with a mark of 1:50.1 @ The Big M & returns at a reduced level for Team Burke

7-Colossal Stride A – On quite a roll & no worse than second in six US starts for Nifty Norman, completely dominated with a new mark of 1:50 last week
6-Yacht Seelster – The Yacht took dead aim & was clearly second best behind The Stride last week, constant threat for a raging barn plays prime opportunist role again
