1 STICK THAT LIP OUT Begins her career tonight after a trio of successful qualifiers. Not sure she's ready to pace with the likes of #6 just yet, but she'll sit in and gain experience. Tough spot for a debuting two-year-old.
2 GORDY AGAIN That's not exactly an overwhelming overall record, and I don't know what happened in the Yonkers disaster. Tied up? Sick? Either way, I guess I'd like to watch one here first. Let's see if she bounces back for a piece.
3 LIPPY DOO Comes to us from Minnesota, folks! Had a nice, easy cruise on a slow track up at Monti. I do wish it had been here, but oh well! Barn unveiled one last week that dazzled. (Wise Image) Is she cranked and ready? Trainer: Is supposed to be a nice filly. When I got her, just about the whole barn got sick and she was one of them.
4 SCARLETT O TERROR I guess if you're looking for anything to give #6 a real run for the money, maybe this filly can do it. She's got plenty of experience and has tackled a bit better along way. She's quick enough. Must stay close.
5 KITTY KITTY HAWK Homebred here shows some real mixed form. Guessing she didn't care for a sloppy Yonkers track, but prior effort were okay. Still adjusting to new barn. Chance to step it up a bit more tonight. Trainer: That filly can fly! Just could not get around Yonkers, which surprised me a little. Usable in this class.
6 DELIGHTFUL FEATHER Yes, she's missed a couple of weeks, but she sure looks like a layup in this spot, right? Unless she was sick again, she should go right to the front and wire these at will. We're looking at a very short price.

1 ZOOMING Found his top gear just a tad too late last week, but finished up the mile powerfully. That's exactly what you want to see with a return trip to the big track. Gets the rail now, so speed can be used. Expect a top try.
2 RESITA I have to admit, I was impressed with this guy's speed last week! Yes, he looked a little hot, but barn will fix that. Gets post relief here and looks like the pacesetter again, if pilot wants. Check for any equipment changes.
3 LUMINOSITY The other Burke trainee invades to make just his sixth start of year. And it looks like he's in good form. Had a very useful, tuneup qualifier, making Melady's Monet work a little. This guy has talent, but this is no easy spot.
4 UNDICI 10YO French bred crosses the river for a big track try. Those are some real tough races over there, and after several miscues, it's time to try the mile. Expecting that pilot will be cautious, just to get him around there onstride.
5 CAN DO We all know this gelding packs big time speed, and he did not use it upon arrival. Marcus takes over now, and lately, he's been leaving with everything. I guess I'd be surprised if he didn't take a shot here. Won't win from back. Trainer: Candy always loves the Meadowlands!
6 TUONOBLU REX Bit of a question mark tonight, folks. Was angling out of a tight spot when he broke last time, so I'm not going to be too hard on him. But tonight, it's the outside post. He can leave, but doesn't usually do it. Your call?

1 QUALITY KEMP After the miscue in the comebacker, this guy had a MUCH improved start last week. That's a solid step in the right direction. Has slightly better post than his partner here, and they look like the ones to beat.
1A CHARLIE ONA HARLEY Looks like another nice buy here for the Burke Brigade! They got this one from Jackie Mo! Gelding was amazingly consistent up north, so no reason not to think he'll do well here. Gotta hop on board!
2 CASH CALF Still making mini progress for now. I don't think she's quite good enough to win yet, so I'll pass.
3 SEVEN ROSES As previously stated, she's got wonderful speed, but virtually no finish. That's not enough.
4 WHITE CHEETAH Will definitely benefit from that much needed start after the layoff. Gets a better post and does have speed. I expect to see it again and if either entrymate comes up short, this is one to fear. At a price too!
5 TAKE A WISH Filly just keeps finishing up strongly. That's always a good thing. Doesn't make mistakes, either! Almost a must-use on any gimmick ticket. One night soon, she'll get lucky and pass them all again.
6 MASSIVE OPULENCE Was on quite a roll until that miscue last time. Handled a slightly bigger track over at Pocono, so I'm going to be positive and say he will handle Club Med. Interesting horse at a fair price. Likes to grind into it.
7 EXS AND OHS Very difficult spot for a sophomore filly, and coming off a more-than-month layoff. I'd like to see one here first, before I will consider. And talk about the bad post blues! Overdue to get a better starting slot. Next time.
8 NORTHERN CREDIT Uncorked a long, grinding move upon arrival last time and just wasn't able to sustain it. Still, it caught my eye, as did the qualifier. Tonight's knock is the post, but barn hitting its stride lately. The one to fear!
9 LUCKY SHEILA For a brief, shining moment, I really thought Eric A had stolen one last week. He did everything right, and still got caught. Definitely proved she could handle mile track. Must overcome another tough post now.

1 MISSLAROSE Will try to chase down the Trolley again and I doubt she can do it. I do like the way she's held her form since that initial miscue on the comebacker. Plenty of speed to grab position. If she trots, she'll get a piece again.
2 DYNAMIC EDGE Invader from Yonkers was tackling some tough customers over there and really had a good one in the slop. No rain tonight, but a pretty rough field to face. Will not be stepping around #1, so needs a trip to help.
3 THISGUYISONFIRE Paid instant dividends for the new connections down at Philly. That's not a bad field he beat too! But, this is a super solid bunch and I will be surprised if he sweeps them all. Seems like a one way closer. Tough spot.
4 OPULENT YANKEE We all know his game and he raced perfectly upon return. That's the ticket again, and I'm anxious to see how many try to leave with him. He's got pure speed. If they leave him alone, he gets tougher to catch.
5 PAPPY GO GO Was super rock-solid when we saw him here a while back. Elected to try PA, and then Delaware. The last being a tough trip disaster. Was also showing wicked speed. Will he send out of there along with #5? Don't know.
6 TROLLEY And, finally, the current scourge of the trotting wars here! Couldn't possibly have looked any better in the two wins on Lasix. He's versatile enough to race either way. Tonight, Marcus may have to grind with him. Not easy.

1 KAK'S SHARK ATTACK Looks like we're getting a string from Hoosier's leading trainer, Jeff Cullipher here this winter! That's great! Every one entering this weekend is coming off a little bit of a layoff. Will they be ready? I have no idea.
1A STYLISH BEACHWHERE Both Cullipher mares have the same profile here. This lass stormed home behind Windsun Glory last time and that mare would be 1-5 in here. This lass also looks like stone closer. This will not be easy spot.
2 BRAZUCA After missing a start sick, this mare lost a heartbreaker when nailed in the last step by #7. It was still a huge try, and off a great trip. Post two and solid speed again. If the price was attractive again, I'd say use her!
3 OK HEAVENLY Was also right there in that amazing blanket photo last week. It was a thriller, and I feel bad if you bet this lass. She was nice price that night. I guess it's all about trip for her. Will grind her way into the flow again.
4 ELLA CHRISTINA Bouncing up and down the class ladder lately at Philly. Her last could easily be considered a bit of a wakeup call. Not sure what the strategy will be in here. Or, if she's good enough to beat a field like this. Your call?
5 GOLD ORCHID N Has looked every bit the monster since showing up here in the states! Harder has kept her away from the big track until now. This is her first real test to see just how fast she can go. I wouldn't go against.
6 SUDDEN CHANGE N They got real lucky with this mare to pay over $40 at Yonkers last time on the sweep off cover. Since she lacks early speed, I doubt she can get that lucky again. Have to rate her the longshot in here. Trainer: Tough mare that always gives 100%. Looking forward to racing her there this start.
7 PENPAL I am still in awe of her amazing rally from parts unknown last week. That was incredible! However, this field has a few new shooters in it and they look solid. I'm going to take a stand against. If she beats me, she beats me.

1 FIJI The Fiji finds his way back to Club Med after what looks like a disaster trip over at Yonkers. Just throw that out. Gallant gelding has always been uber dangerous on the class drop to level like this. Hate the post, but love the horse. Trainer: Was in impossible spot last week in the Billings final with 10 horses. Seems to like the Meadowlands best.
1A LANDONFITZ I thought he had one stolen last time, until he got outkicked late. Not exactly "rewarded" with this post drawn, so it makes it a much tougher spot. Overall, I prefer his partner, but we get them both when we bet.
2 WAITING ON A WOMAN "Squeezes in" for the condition by a mere $10. Usually, that's a pretty positive handicapping angle, but maybe not in this case? Did not use his speed last week. Better find some of it again.
3 CONNIE KEEPER Invades from Monti and gets stuck in a very tough spot. I have to rate her a longshot here.
4 CINNABAR HALL Up and down the class ladder with a real mixed bag of form. Gets some much needed post relief and a new driver in Dave Miller. I guess a wakeup call isn't completely out of the question. Demand price if you like.
5 CELEBRITY LOVER Endured a difficult trip in his comebacker to the Big M. Really had no chance into that well-rated pace. This race could be completely different and I like this guy's consistency. Should offer the right price to use.
6 QUICK DEAL Had his "tour" of the oval in a much tougher spot. I'm not going to call him totally reliable, but this is a wide open race and he has done well here before. Another longshot that you can make a case for. A longshot case.
7 CAN'TCUTTHATCHIP Homebred gelding is one of two in here for the Harmon barn. This one's been completely overmatched lately over on the half at Yonkers. I can't guarantee he'll pick it up here on big track. Tough post too! Trainer: The last full brother of Don't Know Chip is a lot better than showing right now. Love his attitude on the track. He will get better.
8 MIKEY LIKES IT Another in here with some flat form of late. I can't predict total wakeup calls, but that's what this guy would need to overcome this post. He also appears to lack early speed. Not in a good spot out here.
9 ITHINKTHATSMINE Lone filly in here was conservatively handled in her big track debut and she did just fine! Finished up nicely, in a race won up front. Tonight's problem is post 10. Is she going to blast? I wish I knew.

1 MARION GONDOLIER In for the tag here, so that's how he fits. Last time here, he ran into that raging Mayfair Johnny B! This is higher class level, so have to be careful. Not a quick starter, but rail will keep close. Good chance with trip.
2 HASHTAGMADEYALOOK Stakes-quality 3YO sent south by owner/breeder to the Fanning barn. Had a very useful qualifier here last week, but I don't think he's quite cranked and ready for a big mile just yet. I'll watch one.
3 ZLATAN Been stuck in some real tough spots here lately, so this touch of class relief should help. On best night, he's good enough to go with, or beat these. Still not sure if he's as good as the faves right now. Mixed feelings.
4 MOOSE MADNESS One of many invaders tonight for this barn. If ANY of them have raced well up to this point, maybe we take another look here? Shows up with sneaky speed every once in while. Should stalk, kick in?
5 TWO AM 18-time winner was rolling along at Yonkers until he made a miscue. It was a sloppy track, so we can excuse that. He's raced here before too! I have to give him the class edge on most of these, but how good is #8? That's key.
6 IF NOT WHY NOT Out of same race as #8 and was no match that night. I can't expect him to beat these, but am anxious to see what Super Brett does. Will he power out of there? That makes for interesting race, if he does.
7 TEXICAN Speaking of speed, here's another one. BUT, as previously stated, all the starters for this barn are coming off layoffs and ship-ins. They may not be fully ready in their first start here. We'll just have to wait and see.
8 DELCREST HOLIDAY Not only did Yannick put a perfect drive on this guy, but the horse absolutely exploded when asked to trot. That was a visually impressive performance! Clearly proved he likes the big track. On for more?

1 MEADOWBRANCH SHARLA Paid some immediate dividends for new connections in that nice, easy, soft spot at home base. So, they figure why not give her a shot on the big track? She's in pretty steep here. Lots to prove at M1.
2 IN THE SHADOWS One of five invaders to Club Med in this race. So, that makes it a bit hard to handicap. Also recently into new barn and she had a pretty good second down at Philly. Expecting improvement for Scotty D.
3 BETTOR CHILL OUT Needed her first start off that long layoff and will probably need another. Overclassified too!
4 ZANE HANOVER Been waiting on a wakeup call here and haven't gotten it yet. Just in too tough with this group.
5 GEMMA'S BEACH GIRL Gave it an excellent try from the outside post upon arrival. Yes, that was against a lesser group, but I like what I saw. Does lose Yannick tonight, but that was expected. The speed puts her in play again.
6 NARCIAN JEWEL Hit the cones and basically towed along last time. It was a better effort than the previous one. That could be a hint that she's ready to wake back up with solid effort. She has faced better in the past. A real maybe.
7 BIG LIS Barn firing on all cylinders last few weeks, so it seems this mare has been underacheiver. Took a much more aggressive try in last start at Philly, so that is a positive indicator. Maybe she'll take another step forward tonight.
8 NORTHERN SWIFT "Squeezes in" for the condition on lifetime earnings. But, is it really a good spot? I'm leaning towards no at moment, because of the post and fact that this is a good group. I'd be surprised if she swept them.
9 A PLUS Yannick's choice of four, but that was obvious. Dropped and popped down at Philly, and did it the hard way, grinding uncovered. That tells me she's back in solid form. Barn sending out nothing but winners. Overcomes post?
10 FANCY CREEK JOLENE I admit, I didn't get the memo on this lass last time. Oh well! She was huge too! However, she's not exactly "rewarded" with this post drawn. Since I didn't go to the wedding, I won't go to you know where.

1 CRESURREY See how this barn's starters have done tonight? That might give you a better gauge on what to expect from this one. He's raced here before. Did fold up shop here last month. May not be indicative of what's coming now.
2 UHLAN NOIR One of those French purchases earlier this year. Knocked out a couple of wins. But, I have a real problem with the break last time, AFTER adding trotting hopples. What happened? Seems a bit unreliable now.
3 GREAT KATE Messenger shipped in several to race here tonight, and many of them appear overmatched. That could easily be the case for Kate. Yes, she looks sharp now, but will that be enough? Very legitimate question.
4 GEORGIE'S POCKETS Trying the comeback off a long layoff and I will say he didn't look fully ready in the qualifier. Almost would have preferred to see another, but this race will serve to tighten him up. Soon, folks, but not yet.
5 FLYHAWK EL DIABLO Looks like he worked his way too high in class. Still having a decent season, but I'd probably need to see a little more mile track stamina, before I could bet. I'll rate him a longshot against this crew for now.
6 TONY SOPRANO Dave Miller opted here over #1, so that may tell us a little something. Again, have to be careful with this barn's starters right off the bat. This one hasn't raced since Nov. 3. Not sure what to expect from any of them.
7 SHADY MCCOY Shady returns to a level where he can do some real damage. We've cashed on him before in situations like this and I don't see any reason not to try again. Eric A will get him into it and horse takes over from there. Trainer: Very consistent lately and just missed at Chester last week. Fits real well with this bunch with a few nice trotters in there. I expect a good race from him.
8 NEVERDIE I kinda like this gelding in general. Just a professional racehorse that usually finishes strong. Had he drawn a better starting slot, I'd like him a lot more for tonight. But, from this spot, I'll watch one and wait for softer spot.
9 ARCH CREDIT Benefited from a perfect Orange Crush trip and drive last week. Paid a healthy price too! But, if you didn't go to the wedding, don't go you know where! This is much tougher field again, AND the worst post.
