1 ODE TO GRAY That was actually a surprisingly good debut for the two-year-old against some superior, older foes. A very promising youngster here! Same boat. Rides the inside and shakes free late with some pace. Gets experience.
2 FIESTY FIREBALL Another Iowa bred into the Harmon barn here. Looks to me like this one might need a start or two to gain some Big M experience. That first go at Yonkers was just fair. Let's see if he picks up his game here.
3 PISCOTTY Regressed into a miscue in the second local try. That's not good, so I am going to rate him a longshot.
4 DECLAN SEELSTER Was good enough to advance to stakes-level competition up north. Now in the Harder barn here in NJ and coming off a sneaky-good qualifier. Big chance to step up and deliver an upset, over some suspect faves.
5 CAPTAIN AMERICA I don't really know what to tell you here, folks. Has now disappointed twice as a heavy favorite and he had no excuse at all last week. Dave bailed to #8 tonight. That's not exactly a ringing endor
6 SPEED TO MARKET I really expected this guy to pick up his game a few weeks ago and he did not! A letdown. The fact that he missed another week after that is not good either. I have no idea what to expect tonight. Must guess.
7 BET THE DRAGON Technically coming out of a better race than this, but I have my doubts about this one too! He rarely wins, in fact none this year. Can't be left off the ticket, because he's fast enough. Use underneath only.
8 VIRGIN GOLD Of the newcomers to Club Med, we'd better take an extra look here too! I guess he's yet to try a big-size track, but he's bred for it. I don't like the post, but see that he can leave. Was Dave's choice here! Very key! Trainer: Flashed life on Monday! I think he's finally coming around to being useful here.
9 LITTLE TJ Struggled to keep up, upon arrival, so we have to rate him a longshot, moving to much tougher post.
10 LETSGETINTOTROUBLE Campaigned mostly in Pennsylvania. Some good starts, and some flat ones. I see he left the gate once in recent form and he was just fair. A chance, but I'm not betting the farm here either. Your call?

1 INCREDIBLE SHARK Comes out of a pretty strong race, and one that he needed. I fully expect many of this barn's charges to be even better this week, with that race under their belt. Both of these included! I like 'em both.
1A NEW TALENT IF you're a dedicated race-watcher, then you saw this fella run into more roadblocks than possible. And, they bet this horse like he was very live! Likely to be overbet now off that, but I give them both big chance.
2 BUSHWACKER Loved him last week and he got beat by the pocket rocket #4. In truth, it seemed very tough to hold up on the front end last Saturday, so I have to give this guy another chance. I will say this is tougher field, however.
3 CHEESE MELT By about the time this race goes to the gate, I'll be wishing I HAD a cheese melt to snack on! But, I won't so there goes that. Gelding is coming off a three-month break and this is NOT the right spot for now. Wait.
4 TERROR OF THE NITE Got me again last week, when he confidently tracked down my best bet of the night. Oh well! Congrats to Kyle and his crew. They're doing a nice job at moment. I figure this guy gets tougher trip now. Not for me.
5 CONSTNTLYSIDEWYS A How good is this horse? I don't think we know just yet. Between him, and Threeofthebest, they're just crushing fields on way up class ladder. Very, very hard to go against in current form, but low price.
6 STORMONT CZAR A Ordinarily, I would love a spot like this for the invader. Unfortunately, I don't for tonight. This is an extremely good field for this level, and I think the Czar would need an absolutely perfect trip to have a chance.
7 IDEAL ROCKY Just hasn't been good here yet, so he looks like a pass once again from a tougher post tonight.
8 OUTKAST BLUE CHIP The "other" Burke horse in here debuts for the new barn. His recent form is mixed and he couldn't possibly have found a tougher spot. I guess I'd like to watch one first.
3 Third Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 MAGNUM MIKE Continues to race well, each and every time. Gets a key inside post against this bunch and at this point, he's almost impossible to leave off the ticket. Packs enough versatile speed to guarantee a good trip.
2 BAY RUM Got a week off, after his good and gutsy win to finish off a successful Pk4 for Dave Little. Paid pretty nice too! With that said, I feel this field is a little tougher than that one, so he will have to earn it again. Should be price.
3 HI HO STEVERINO Just doesn't seem to be up to this level right now. Looks like a longshot and I will pass.
4 BEACHCHIP HANOVER Mitch took a shot with this guy upon arrival and put him in a good spot. But, horse proved no match for CC and the rest. Will he find more in the tank tonight? Perhaps. That speed always demands respect.
5 OBSCENE BLUE CHIP Had a pretty tough trip last week, but he was put in play. I guess this really is the right level for him and one of these nights, he's going to get lucky and win one. I'll take a shot it's tonight. Hoping for value.
6 MYSHARONA BLUECHIP 10-time winner this year, so that catches my eye. Missed a touch of time finding his way to NJ. Seems to fit this level nicely and he had just rounded back into form. If you think he's ready, go ahead and bet.
7 MACH ONE Has clearly faced better in the past, and his last speed try hints that a wakeup call should be coming soon. I'm probably not a fan of this post, but know Dex can do whatever he wants. Definitely a player in here.
8 STILL FRISKIE Moving to a much tougher post and spot here, folks. And, he's coming off a clunker where he tired. Not sure, but it might be time to give this guy a race from behind. Wait for a softer spot.

1 BELL I NO Uncorked another very strong speed try last week. As previously stated, I don't think the front end was the best place to be last Saturday. Have to respect the form this guy shows right now, and the rail will intimidate others.
2 CASTLE FLIGHT Had a very, very good qualifier here last week, so that caught my eye. So far, most of the barn's horses have been ready. This guy closed Hoosier on a nice winning streak, so he should compete with these.
3 PRETTY BOY SWAG Not much luck lately over at Yonkers, so why not try something new? Over to the mile track here and into a pretty tough spot. I know he was technically facing "Open" company, but this could be even tougher.
4 DREAMFAIR MESA Still razor sharp for a barn that's going great guns right now! In current form, I would have a very tough time leaving him off the ticket. Yes, it's another step up, and he will try to grind down #1. Won't be easy.
5 ROLL AWAY JOE Was okay in those two rough spots here earlier. This is same situation. I think these might be a little too tough for Joe right now, but he does plot for a good trip. Most times, that helps. If price, I could consider.
6 OCEAN COLONY Was super sharp in every start here. Not sure what happened down at Philly in the fog, but it was disappointing. Quickly sent right back here, and I hope he bounces back good. Might get ignored by the bettors.
7 MAROMA BEACH After two aggressive speed attempts, the Beach gets slammed with another bad post. Looking at this field, I have to think he'll gun out again. Will want that trip behind #1. It could work out, but no lock for sure.
5 Fifth Race Entries
Picks: 3-4-6-5
H Horse Comment
1 DEWAR N JACK 3YO has improved a little bit on Lasix and now transitions to a completely different class level. In reality, I think these are too tough for him, but he does get the rail. Sits in, saves ground and tries to get lucky.
2 LIMELIGHT BEACH Former Jug champ is still going at age seven. He's worked his way down the class ladder a lot, so we can expect that back class to resurface. Versatile enough to race any way. And fresh, too! Only six starts this year.
3 GRAND THEFT Just when I hopped off the bandwagon, this guy came back with another sneaky-good start. He had a LOT of pace two weeks ago, so now I have to use him again. The price should still be right. At value only.
4 IWILLMAKEYOUSAYWOW Gave it all he had again, as usual last time. This is a very good horse, and he likes in here at Club Med. I guess it's all about the trip tonight and Tyler hops back in the bike. All systems say go!
5 JACKSRLUCKYTOO The time to catch Jack is usually on the drop like this. Last time he was in this class level, he romped, also with a perfect trip. IF you think there's enough action in here to get it up, then go ahead and bet.
6 DUBIOUS CLAIM Did not have an easy trip in first go here and got a little tired. When interviewed, trainer talked this horse up very highly. Let's expect there will be more in the tank for tonight, after that needed start. Very usable.
7 MARTY MONKHOUSER A Overall, he did wake up a little at that lower level. But, he did get two ideal trips and wasn't exactly exploding late. Since he's forced UP in class now, I'm going to leave him out. Beat me if you can.
8 ROCKIN ROGER Current form is a bit flat, so let's rate him a longshot and dismiss him from the outside post.
9 QUALITY BUD The Bud is driving me crazy right now! Because he's been very inconsistent. We just don't know what to expect right now. I hate the outside post, but know that he will blast if Eric A feels he's good. Your call, folks.
6 Sixth Race Entries

1 NEXT SUCCESS Wasn't much of a threat and failed to get involved in that first try here. But, the race definitely did not set up for a rallier from the back. Moves all the way inside now, so that could key strategy change. He's got bit of speed.
2 K-LEES SHAKENBAKE Loved his qualifier here. No idea what happened at Philly. Just glad that I didn't know he was in, or I would have bet and lost. I'm going to take a shot that he bounces back better. Might even offer a price.
3 AWESOMENESS By now, we all know his game. Squandered his chance two back and now must compete at this higher level again. Wasn't Dave's choice and won't be mine for now. I will let him beat me, if he can.
4 MINDTRIP The whole world bet two back and got beat. Tried different tactics from an outside post last time and wasn't bad. Gets the ideal midpack slot here, but Dave did bail on him again. That's not a vote of support.
5 MCTHRILLER Gave Larry Karr ALL he could handle last week and that's the typical race he goes. This horse tries hard every time and this is probably best post for him. I would have a very tough time leaving off the ticket completely.
6 PHIL YOUR BOOTS Interesting invader from Yonkers for Harris. Gets some "perceived" class relief, but this is no slouch bunch! Most of recent form appears flat, so it's tough to expect the huge wakeup call he will need.
7 SOLO STORY Dave Miller opted for this guy last week and put him in a good spot. Unfortunately, horse just got tired. Now, he does not opt to drive, so that's also a big no-vote of confidence. Plus, horse moves way outside.
8 GRIFFON HANOVER After watching Griffon fly home last week, I was all set to hop on board for this start. But, he gets stuck with a bad post once again and might be too far back once again. Do we wait, or take a shot? I'll wait.

1 TACT TATE N Got on a line pretty bad in the early stages last week and it basically cost him the race. Once Dex got him straight and steerable, he flew home! Too late. I can't guarantee he's in same league as #4,5 right now.
2 FRANCO RAYNER N This is a pretty good horse, folks. Freshened up after getting sick. Came back with okay, but not great qualifier. I might add a point if Castle Flight won the fourth tonight, but I don't think he's cranked and ready yet.
3 CLOUSEAU HANOVER Got a little lucky to sneak up the pylons last week and finished up smartly. It was enough to catch my eye, but in reality, I can't put him in same league as #4,5 either. Would be a bit of a surprise.
4 K RYAN BLUECHIP Safe to say, this guy's in career form right now! That was super rally to measure them off last week. Yes, the trip was ideal and the bias was in his favor, but he just keeps eating up the ground. Big test again.
5 GEEZ JOE After a pair of amazing miles here, Joe scooted south and had a disaster. Given extra week to recover from that, he's back to the scene of best work. Will the "real" Joe step back up into form? I wish I knew. Was HUGE here.
6 STONEDUST Last time we saw the Dust here, he was in non winners of two. Ended up winning over at Yonkers and Saratoga and was then sold to current connections. They've developed him into a top pacer! Let's see how good.

1 PICKLED PREACHER Made a nasty break over at Yonkers on Tuesday and arrives here on short rest. I really don't know what to expect off that. This is probably the right spot for him here, but will he be cranked and ready?
2 CC BIG BOY SAM We know he's cranked right now! Probably in best shape he's been in for a long time. And, barn sees fit to hike the pricetag substantially. Is he really a $20K claimer? I guess we're going to find out.
3 CENTURY CHURCHILL IF you're a dedicated race-watcher, you saw this guy get completely blocked last week. He never had a chance. Tonight, he's getting a needed touch of class relief too! Time to hop back on board and bet.
4 DECISION DAY Definitely found the hike up to this level a bit much, but I liked what I saw. There's no Larry Karr in here, and the post is a bit better. I can make a case he hits the ticket at a fair price. He is good right now.
5 COMMANDISCOURTESY Took a real big shot in the Maine finale and almost got the job done. That was very fast pace and he simply got tired. Finds his way to NJ and I don't know if this is right spot. He'll have to prove it first.
6 SPONDULICKS N Been buried in some difficult spots along the way at many area tracks for Stacy. Eligible for a much lower level than this, so I'm not sure what's up. I'd like to see one here first, to see if he belongs.
7 SEEL THE DEAL N Gave it a very good try here last week after the sick scratch. Have to give credit for that. Two problems for tonight! The hike up, and the tougher post. At mercy of pace and trip from out here. Tough call.
8 SPEED AGAIN Dropped and popped at a rare nice price for this outfit. Hasn't been using speed lately, so this post becomes a concern. Yannick will have to leave a little, just to get him into the game.
9 BRUCE'S MAGIC The time to get Bruce is usually on a class drop. Note he was sent off at much lower odds against #8 and did the dirty work up front. He's also capable of leaving and Corey gets along with him too. Very usable now.
9 Ninth Race Entries
Picks: 4-1-2-8
H Horse Comment
1 TWINCREEKS JESSE Makes his way down to the bottom level here and this is usually where he gets a little more dangerous. More than capable of a surprise at times. Price should be okay, so I will consider using in this spot.
2 CHEYENNE REIDER Thought he might get claimed last week, but he did not. Still in for the $10K tag, but facing completely different bunch here. The post relief alone brings him back into play. I can make a case for success too!
3 DUKE OF DELRAY The Duke turned things around in his second local try. The trip was a lot different, but he did finish up nicely. I expect similar kind of journey here. Will need to get a tad luckier to get all the cash now.
4 LIVE ON Folded up shop after blasting out through quick fractions against better. This is the final drop to the bottom and we're getting to now or never territory. Brett had some options and chose this guy tonight. Good enough for me.
5 TERROR HALL Didn't figure to be primed in that tougher spot last week and basically rode the cones. Gets that touch of a drop, like #4 and could easily show more here. I wouldn't be shocked with a much better effort, and at a price.
6 LEGION OF BOOM Bettors still taking a bath on this horse right now. With Yannick back in seat, they might come back and bet again. I won't. He's a pass for me in current form.
7 INDY INGOT Brett could have opted here, but he did not. Put a strong speed trip on this guy last week and he was solid until the very end. Was a tough beat for the bettors, and since Brett bails, I will do the same. Your call?
8 HE CAN FLY N Lately, he hasn't been living up to his name. I just wonder if it's taking a while to get back into shape after being sick. I don't really like the post, or his perceived lack of speed. Can Marcus make any and take a shot?
9 WALTZACROSSTHEWIRE Much improved try last week, and at big price, but not exactly "rewarded" with this post drawn. He did leave last week, so maybe he will again? I don't see him winning from last.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 7-1-2-3

1 PLAY JET RAY That was a super solid try against a very impressive horse last week! A real standout effort. With that said, this bunch might be a tad easier. Horse keeps key inside post. The one to beat, but at probable short price.
2 MESSI N For the first half of that qualifier, I thought he looked a bit short. Then he kicked in belatedly and finished up nicely. Is that enough to have him primed and ready off a short layoff? Did the freshening help? Probably. Trainer: Finally got him healthy! Wasn't super tight for that qualifier, so he can build off that mile and be ready for this week.
3 TIE YOUR SHOE ED Failed to deliver any kind of winning kick, and was in position to do so. Ed's been okay here, but not great. Drew ideal inside post again to stalk the action. He'll just have to find more when it counts late.
4 MCARDLES LIGHTNING Struggled in last qualifier, so he's clearly not ready and prepared for this yet. Pass.
5 PONYTA BOY I guess I have to give up on the Boy for now. I've tried him a few times here and he hasn't delivered the goods. Off my list, until I see a much improved effort.
6 NOBLES FINESSE Still buried at this level and we will all have to wait for the eventual class drop. It will come.
7 MORE DRAGON The Dragon's back going good and rolling! Had absolutely NO shot in race won up front by big favorite. This could be a LOT different. He seems safe enough to leave with. Expect Vinny to take a shot here.
8 PARKLANE EAGLE Never really got rolling in that last one. But, that race was won up front, so he had no chance. Will take one more level of class relief before we see the wakeup? I think it might. Let's wait till next week on drop.
9 ROCK STAR It was pretty hard to make a case for this guy last week, but somehow, some way, Vinny got him to reach. Huge price if you cashed, but I'd be very surprised if he produced the repeat on big hike up and move out.
11 Eleventh Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 SUPER S YZERMAN Still plodding along, but I will note that his last race was a slight improvement. He usually owns one move in a mile, and from the rail, he will be saving ground. Hoping for hot pace, and to shake free late.
2 ROCK ON THE HILL Got pounded at the betting windows last week and didn't deliver enough rally. I don't suspect he'll be bet that strong again, but you never know. Key inside post keeps him close. We might see more speed now.
3 LIFE HAPPENED Been very disappointing lately, but he now takes the final class plunge to the bottom. We've seen this move work many times in the past. I expect that he will get bet, and I won't pronounce him 100% reliable.
4 BLACK HAMMER Gabe and I had a lot of fun with this guy over the summer. He returns to Club Med in a little over his head, but maybe the return here will wake him back up. Owns one move, so timing and trip are critical.
5 DEEPFAVE HANOVER Just can't get lucky in the trip department. Two straight no chance miles. Long overdue for a better journey and I think I'll finally hop on board. He just HAS to get a smoother journey, right? Hope for price.
6 JOHNNY Q Simply because he's won here before, will I take an extra look. If you think that Monti start was just a prep for this one, maybe Johnny can get a piece of this. He's still relatively fresh. Will have to go faster here.
7 ROLLING SEA Loomed boldly two back and flattened. In too tough against a killer last time. Like #3, drops to the bottom and will need a few things to go his way. He owns one move too! Has to catch live cover as well.
8 GOTAROCKINMYPOCKET Yes, he was also a little better last time, but with no speed, and a field full of closers, how do you make a case for success from this post? I can't.
9 SOUTHERN PURSUIT N In the past, when at bottom level here, he's been pretty effective. And, I know he can leave the gate if Andy wants. If horse feels good, there's no doubt he will go and get involved. Chance for the upset.
10 WHITE BLISS The Bliss was sneaky good two back. Buried and traffic troubled last time. Back to the bottom level, but slammed with post 10. If he gets overbet, I might try and swing against. He's no lock from way out here.
12 Twelfth Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 SPORTS COWBOY As good as the barn is going right now, they've yet to turn this guy around. I'll pass.
2 WAVES Also retaining large longshot status, after showing very little upon arrival. Would need a lot more.
3 BARBADOS Went another really good trip last week, in behind that impressive winner. Outsprinted a bit for the second spot, but he did race well. I'll add a few points if Play Jet Ray won the 10th. Chases the Image once again.
4 WISE IMAGE Could this horse possibly have been any more impressive in either win? No! He was super sharp. Gets to sneak into this class again on the lifetime earnings cap and he looks almost like a lock. Very hard to go against.
5 DREWBERT Did not race well over the half at Yonkers, so he's quickly guided back to a big track. Anything like that Mohawk win and he can complete here, but he's not as good as #4. Decent trip will see him hit the ticket maybe.
6 ALTA SHELBY N Liked his qualifier here. Didn't like the scratch at Yonkers. Came back and was wildly overbet against #4. Not sure what the price will be, but he will have to get into the game a touch earlier. Needs more, folks.
7 DRAMATIC POINT MIA since November 3, so that's not good. Drew outside the main foes, so I'm going to take a pass and watch one, for future evaluation. I would be very surprised if he was ready to give #4 a tussle.
8 FORDHAM SIXTY TWO IF you're searching for somebody that can upend the favorite, maybe this is your play? It's Burke. It's Andy Mac. Horse has shown speed. Trying to bounce back after those breaks. Take a long look at him first.
9 DUCKIES DYNASTY I really liked this guy last time and Cory put a perfect steer on him. Keep in mind that this is a MUCH tougher field, and this post is a killer. Would need even more to put a scare into Wise Image. Not sure.
10 CROSS MY MIND First starter of meet for barn and they get slammed with a post 10. That stinks! Horse has shown an ability to leave, and he has some good history on a big track. I just wish he'd drawn a better post. Still usable.
