1 ROCKIN REDFORD Simply put, he's gotten into the habit of making too many breaks right now. A pass here.
2 FOX VALLEY STEFFEN This is not a bad spot for Ms. Lappe here. Horse usually races well here. The post relief is a plus. She might zip right around #1, if he trots or not, and then the trip is smooth. Chance to hit the ticket at price.
3 SERGEANT SEELSTER Gelding has burned a little money since Team Silva took over. Don't worry. They'll figure him out. Might even just need a "big" track. I wouldn't want short price, but I'll take good, long look at him on track.
4 HIGH BLUE Not bad in those last two! Just ran into a pair of very well-meant winners. There are NO Pappy Go Go's in here, so chances go up a slot, and price might even go up too! Also in need of another smooth journey. A maybe.
5 MR RIDGETAKER Definitely looks like the longshot in here. He will need this one off the layoff.
6 SHADY MCCOY Shady is back, and rip-roaring ready to go! I usually end up picking against him, but he has beaten me before. The return to favorite track on big class drop puts him right in play. Don't expect much of a price. Trainer: Been racing in the upper classes at Philly. Now, a well-deserved drop in class. Should be real competitive in here.
7 HOT SUMMER KNIGHT I like this guy! He's battled these before, and sometimes with success. It's ALL about pace and trip for him, since he's a stone closer. There is good chance the faves might mix it up. It's happened before.
8 DANISH DURANGO Raced on Wednesday, delaying program printing, by the way! Lol! We all know he could wake back up in a spot like this, but I'm not in love with the post. He usually needs a good trip to do best damage.
9 WILD SMILE The Smile is back as well! Looks just like Shady in some ways. They both usually appreciate the return to this softer level, but Johnny C will be tested to overcome this post. Note he was assigned this slot, folks. Not easy.

1 AB'S ROYAL PUNKIN One of the fillies in the battle with some colts here. Even I will admit that qualifier here was best appearance yet. Maybe the Punkin needs the big track? I guess we'll find out. I sense improvement coming.
2 CASH CALF She's been here before. Overmatched when shipped out to Kentucky, but she's found the right spots since returning home. I do like the post here and there is very good chance she will wake back up. Only needs a trip. Trainer: Was part of a wicked sickness that came through the barn. She didn't race for three weeks. She raced really well her first start back.
3 MS SPARTAN Didn't show a whole lot in that first try here, but it may have been just a "go-around" kind of test. This post is better. The field looks a tad softer. I can make a case for a bit more here too! Let's take a long look.
4 I WIN HANOVER Tough call here. The line at Philly two back is probably good enough to win this. The subsequent break is not. Which will we get tonight? If I knew that....Lol! Took mark on big track, so let's expect big bounce back.
5 GALLANT MAN Finally came around, so to speak this summer with several good starts. He's been buried in a few real tough spots since, so forgive that. This kind of field is what he's been waiting for. IF he trots, will be hard to deny.
6 SHORTIE JOE Shortie was doing nice work until he had a few tough trips in that series. He also has the look of a horse that might do a LOT better here on the big track. I can make a case for success, IF he can overcome the post.
7 TAKE A WISH That's a great job by connections to capture that $50,000 race at Freehold at 12-1! Very nice! Now, can the filly go faster? That is the question and I'm not sure she's ready to trot with these boys. Will be watching.

1 CHAPTER TOO Lone mare is having a great season for her team and takes a huge step up the class ladder tonight over a track she's won at before. I have to rate her a medium longshot vs. these, but I see that she's razor sharp!
2 PAPPY GO GO I thought last week's step up for Pappy might be a little too much. Boy was I wrong! That was super mile! Now, he's tackling legitimate Open-type trotters here. Is he really as good as #6? I guess we'll find out.
3 TYSON Ordinarily, I would love an invader like this. BUT, perhaps not in this spot. Can't really fault this talented 5YO in any way and I'm anxious to see if he can handle mile track wars. Gets the acid test right away. This is tough bunch!
4 OPULENT YANKEE Here's the deal for tonight with this one. He's probably not ready for his A-game type effort. Hasn't raced in a month. Could easily have been sick. We know he loves the track, but I suspect he'll "need" this.
5 GOLD MEDAL SWAN What a tremendous job Team Silva has done on this guy. From a former bottom level performer, and iffy at best, he's blossomed into a solid and now reliable horse. Good work! Back to track he prefers.
6 MUSCLE DIAMOND Classy 6YO never seems to lose here, right? At least, that's my recollection. He has taken on, and beaten better fields than this. That's why he's "assigned" the outside post. Doesn't matter. He's just better than these.

1 FRANNY THE GREAT Was 100-1 from the seven box on Tuesday at Yonkers, so that was purely a "prep" for this. Barn's had one other longshot race very well here, so don't be shocked if this mare goes okay. Usable at price.
2 BAD NIGHT MARE A little disappointing at Pocono on Tuesday, tiring after chasing the winner in the pocket. That's simply not good enough. If anything, this field is supposed to be better than that. Will need big wakeup call here.
3 DOV'S SONG Keep in mind that this barn has snuck in and surprised us before. Here's a filly that's been all over the place and does have a couple of wins. They weren't recent, but you never know. Yannick not here, so A Mac gets call.
4 QUIKSTARTMYHEART Shows a couple of good starts against lesser down at Freehold. I have to think this will be a brand new ballgame for the homebred. Will have to prove she can go a LOT faster here. I have to see it first.
5 PHYLLIS JEAN Veteran mare is approaching 100 starts, and knows her way around this oval. If you take case that she "needed" that last one to get ready, this could be the spot! Don't be shocked if she's rolling to go tonight.
6 ICOMMANDMYSPIRIT It's tough to get a full read on her current form, but I do know she's more than capable at a level like this. She's won here before, so that helps. Don't expect that 32-1 this time. Expect a solid effort tonight.
7 ROSY OUTLOOK Comes out of a very key race here, folks. She launched a move and flattened out, but the race was won up front in well-rated fashion. This mare had NO chance that night. This is much easier spot. Only needs speed.

1 CAVIART DARLIN' Blossoming filly with the royal pedigree took a shot in the Kindergarten and had a no chance trip. Don't hold that against her. This is just an overnight race, and Double D gets the call. Tries beat her elders.
2 MAJOR MAID Owns only one lonely win, but she's usually picking off horses late in the lane. Will sit in, save ground and try to get lucky late. Sometimes it works for a piece.
3 LILAC LAUREY Had her "tour" of the track last time. This is a much better post, but still no easy spot. I'll pass.
4 ASHLEE'S SPORT She was okay in both starts here so far. I always like to see the tactical speed. She followed, and kicked home willingly both times. With that said, you have to include her in any gimmick ticket. Price okay too!
5 MODESTY Will definitely benefit from the perfect speed tightener for Team Miller. Filly really showed me something, cutting that mile off the layoff and she was digging in gamely. No doubt the one to catch, and one to beat tonight.
6 DELIGHTFUL FEATHER MIA since September 21, so she HAS to need this, right? I think so. I can see that she's got some talent, but maybe she's one of the MANY that has been sick. It happens. I'm going to watch one here.
7 ODDS ON STEPHANIE Easily a big threat to #5, off that nice confidence builder win here at 1-5. This will be a LOT tougher tonight, from the post, vs. the likes of #1,5. Yes, she's good, but I will need to see even more tonight.
8 ROSIEMUNN Usually a longshot in a spot like this. Drew a tough post, so I'm preferring others. Will need luck.
9 SILK REED Liked her a little in that spot last week, and she got pounded by the bettors. Raced well, but not enough for the win. The move to an outside post like this is a real killer. She lacks speed, folks! Won't be easy out here.
10 AIRBORNE HANOVER Have to call her last two tries here a tad disappointing. She's hurt badly by the post 10 draw here and I would need to see a lot more before I could endorse. Maybe it's coming. Maybe it's not.

1 CELEBRITY EVENTSY Classy mare has battled the best over past few years. She's made half a million! That ain't bad! At this stage of career, I do believe she needs a level lower than this. But, she'll be better back on the big track.
2 WAITING ON A WOMAN Clearly wasn't ready for that first start back and I usually guess right on the spot for this gelding. We could call him a true war horse too! This isn't the spot just yet. I'll be watching for later on.
3 ROUNDTOWN ROCKER The Rocker has gone more than a few good trips here, so keep that in mind. However, like a few others, his biggest success comes at a level lower than this. I'm willing to wait for the right spot.
4 SAMIS ROLIN STONE Odd spot for this filly, but you have to race them somewhere, right? She really did good work here this summer, so expect her to stretch out again on big track. Might have trouble dealing with #7,8. Tough call.
5 MY CHERRY PIE Super solid effort behind an uncatchable winner last week. Perfect trip and drive from Stevie. Will he send her again? Probably! no reason not to take a shot and no super speedsters to the inside. Very usable again.
6 MISSLAROSE We can easily call her a Big M lover! But, for tonight's betting purposes, is she ready? She needed that rest after a long campaign, with many wins here. The qualifier was good, but I'm saying she needs a race first.
7 DEEP IMPACT When he's right, this is a TOP level trotter. He's tackled and beaten far better than this in the past. I'm not saying he's a lock, but if primed, he will beat these, even from this post. Owns a wicked late kick.
8 GLENFERRIE DREAMER Up from Freehold for a big track try, and yes, he's had success here before. BUT, not in a spot like this. From this post, these look a little too tough right now.

1 DELIGHTFULMEMPHISN Simply put, she "needed" that race last week, off the long layoff. Note the big time post relief, but this field is a little stronger. Will try to get revenge on #4, but faces talented #6 too! Won't be easy.
2 GIVEMEYOURHEART Andy won with her last time he drove, but that was against much weaker. Mike Cruse put her in great spot last time and almost got lucky. Now, the mare is hiked way, way up. I think these are too tough.
3 TEARFUL OF HAPPY It's rare to put a double-digit price on a Burke horse, but in a field full of class droppers, this lass is stepping up. That last win looks appealing, but this is much more difficult. I'd need to see her prove it here.
4 FOLLOWTHEWIND N Liked her last week and she responded accordingly in her second North America start and first on Lasix. Anchored a nice Pk4 for me too! Gets another new driver and this one won't be that easy. How good is she?
5 CRACKLIN ROSIE Finished a very good and game second at 9-1 at Pocono on Tuesday. Plus, let's congratulate Mr. Auciello on his Woodbine/Mohawk training title! Good work. Plus, he's off to solid start here at the meet. Usable.
6 I'M TRIGGER HAPPY Here's the "key" to the race, folks. On paper, this stakes-quality filly is more than talented enough to beat these, BUT she's missed a start sick. IS she primed and ready? I wish I knew. She's fast enough.
7 BEST OF JENNA That was some qualifier she comes out of! And she was keeping right up with the likes of Darlinonthebeach. That's a good thing. She shows back class, but maybe needs to prove it here on the mile?
8 WHISKERSONKITTENS Perfect trip and drive by Mike M to dominate that last grouping. That was two weeks ago. She really looked good. However, she will NOT get away with that kind of rated pace here. This will be LOT tougher.
9 OK HEAVENLY The Double D patience paid off for this mare on the rail last time. She's not exactly "rewarded" with the big hike up, and the move to worst post. Plus, Double D stuck with #1. That's a double whammy!

1 IDEAL ROMANCE Raced really well both times here, folks! The trip last week was much tougher and he didn't exactly pack it in. I respect this veteran gelding now. Has the rail again and is likely to flash that big speed. Very usable.
2 MAGNUM MIKE Here's a 10YO with some mixed recent form. Not sure how that will translate up here, but at least he gets a good inside post. It's still tough for the 10's to beat the higher-priced rivals. Your call?
3 MCCITO Didn't offer a whole lot here last week. I'd have to rate him a longshot off that, vs. the tougher field.
4 CC BIG BOY SAM The Big Boy is two-for-two here so far. He's in for the $12,500 tag now, and I certainly can't fault that. Is facing a tad tougher task tonight, but sharp horses win races. Sam is going to grind his way into this.
5 PUMPED UP KICKS Clearly he raced a lot better last time. Flashed that strong speed and then kept up. He wasn't going to beat that winner, but the speed always puts him in good position. Eric A is liable to send him again.
6 ITSNOPROBLEMMAN The Double D is clearly showing why he's a top driver. Kept this guy alive, and going forward two weeks ago, despite a pretty tough trip. That takes talent. This gelding now faces stronger foes. Will need more.
7 SPAGHETTI EDDIE I really thought he might wake back up on the big class drop last time. It didn't happen. So, now I don't know what to do. They lower the pricetag a notch, but I'm not going to bite just yet. Your call, folks.
8 STILL FRISKIE Barn off to a rip-roaring start this meet! Have to respect that. They're dropping this guy a notch in price too! What I don't like is the post. Vic K will have to find a way into this one. But, that's what he gets paid for!
9 GLASS PRINCE Came flying home just a little too late last week. It happens. But, it was a solid bounce back kind opf mile over a track he prefers. Like #8, the post hurts, but anything close top stretch and watch out!

1 KEYSTONE ACE Looks like he had a real tough trip last time up at home base. But, horse is obviously good right now. Gets a key inside post and this was Jordan's choice of the pair. Let's see if fast enough on the mile track.
1A APLOMB HANOVER Coming off a little bit of a clunker for his new trainer. No worries. Horse is just a 4YO, so plenty of time to figure it out. Also a question of whether he'll be better here on big track. I always have my doubts.
2 CROWN AFFAIR Has yet to deliver the goods in three starts here so far. Just to get raced, he ends up here in this tougher spot. I have to rate him a longshot and I don't expect it to be successful.
3 VERDI D EM Flashed just enough sneaky late trot to make me take an extra look tonight. My bigger problem was the slowish start from the rail. Will need a more alert beginning and then hope they mix it up. Not out of the question. Trainer: Shouldn't be in against non winners of five, but it is what it is. He finished up at the end of it.
4 MARION MENTOR It would be tough to make a strong case for success here. Gelding is racing back into shape, but the switch to big track puzzles me a bit. I guess they think he'll race better here. He's definitely facing tougher.
5 LAUDERDALE Did exactly what I expected him to last week. Broke, and galloped ALL the way around the track. He's an auto-toss for me always, but definitely again tonight. Let's see if Vinny G can keep him trotting. I doubt it.
6 PINGALING Hopples went on recently and we saw big time improvement. In a field like this, you have to respect that speed. IF he stretches out here on mile track, he IS a threat to go wire-to-wire. Must find touch more stamina.
7 MARION GONDOLIER Seems to be racing well right now, but I do have a big problem with this post. He doesn't appear to pack any early speed, so that's an issue. I don't want a short price, if coming from the very back of pack.
8 MAYFAIR JOHNNY B Wow, what a mile that was last week! A complete form reversal, but that can happen at times. Gets a much tougher post here and he doesn't exactly blast out. Stevie will have to grind his way into it. Your call?
10 Tenth Race Entries

1 WESTERN EXPOSURE Barn took a shot in the Kindergarten with him, and the trip didn't work. It was a paceless race and colt really had no chance to close. Tonight, Andy Mac opts for #2, but that didn't shock me. Can win if close.
2 DUDDIE'S LOR Talk about a good-looking qualifier! It's hard to look any better than that! And, A Mac stays with him over #1. Here's hoping colt is over that sickness, because he's got talent! This is perfect starting point on road back.
3 IN ROCK WE TRUST Capped off a very nice Pk4 for my TV ticket last week. It was Vic K's patience that did the trick! This gelding is still "learning" with only six lifetime starts so far. But, he definitely has ability too! Nice horse.
4 AMERICAN ASSASSIN Twice Eric A has put this fella in good position, and twice the horse came up empty late. Can't blame the pilot for that. Since I haven't seen the needed mile track stamina yet, I have to pass again.
5 ROCKIN CELEBRATION I guess we just have to toss that last one? Something went amiss and horse just backed up. This is now third start on Lasix, so if he's ever going to wake up, it should be soon. I still need to see more first.
6 SPEED TO MARKET Really liked him in that spot last week and he scratched, so you KNOW he was sick. Therefore, I don't really know what to expect tonight. He was very good chasing that 1-5 winner two weeks ago. Have to use.
7 BOMBAY HANOVER The third 2YO in here. Gets the worst of it, post-wise. He's kind of been babied up to this point. At some point, we're going to need to see some speed. I can't predict that, but some night soon.
8 R BAZINGGA Showed up sharp and ready for his new barn at Pocono. Looks like he just burst by the field, and bettors knew it was coming. So, what will we see here from a tough post? I don't know. Won't be easy to catch. Trainer: Also part of that big sickness. Qualified okay. Came on really hard at the end of it, and was absolutely flying to get up for the win. Showed me he is better from behind.
9 ALWAYS A BB Still waiting on a breakout horse for this barn at the meet. Unfortunately, I don't think BB is it. This looks like an impossible spot from the bad post, because gelding lacks early zip. Your call, folks.
