1 HANNA DREAMGIRL Not really sure why she made that break last week. Didn't appear to be in any trouble. That does make her just a touch "suspect" tonight, considering the low odds. Take a good, long look at her on the track. Trainer: Made an uncharacteristic break last week. Hopefully, we have that resolved.
2 ANTONIA She's proven to be just a tad below these right now. Offered up a brief move last week and then got tired. Hopefully, different trip coming in here, as she needs to pick up her game. A maybe.
3 AMERICAN KRONOS That was a VERY nice kick she uncorked final yards two weeks ago for Team Orange Crush. And she probably "needed" that race too! Also note that Jezzy came back to win, so it becomes a key race. Talented!
4 MARVELOUSTRIX Stevie really doing a nice job of picking up checks with this lass through the series. I like the way she's finishing her miles too! That will serve her very well in the long run. Daughter of Trixton is getting better!
5 FLOS CONCH SHACK Not bad so far, transitioning from the Freehold races to mile track. That is NOT easy to do. She's stuck in a bad spot here from the post, but anything can happen in a filly trot! She'll need to get lucky.
6 GLOBAL PAGEANT Had a nice, easy cruise around the oval last week. Those confidence builders always help. I also like that she showed early speed ability. That was new! Will need a touch of that again to overcome the post. Trainer: Rounding into a solid filly! Held her own in Lex against grand circuit fillies and was good last week.

1 ODDS ON ST LUCIE Uncorked that perfect brush and crush type move last week. I like to see that kind of speed, and then "sprintability!" It was the perfect confidence builder for filly that's been buried against the best. Strong filly!
2 LOVE AT FIRST BITE Can't really fault this filly, except maybe for the lack of wins. She's always right there, and versatility helps. See who hops into the bike tonight, so that will attract attention. Hopes to put it all together.
3 DARN TOOTN HANOVER I like the direction this lass is headed in too! Offered up speed at both ends last week. Got stuck in tight spot late last week, but was still solid to the wire. Tactics the key in here. A good "chess match" race.
4 SWEET DIAMOND Keeps on learning, folks! That was a super-solid kick home last week, into a well-rated winner. Really showed me something with that burst. Not sure how this race sets up, but she will be firing bullets late!
5 ALII NUI Looks like the longshot in here, but only has to beat one to pick up a check. The outer post isn't going to help, and I anticipate a repeat of her trip from last time. Hopes to pick off a tired one.
6 JK AMERICAN BEAUTY Barn's "other" filly might be the key to the race, or at least the pace battle. Coming off that break, I'm not sure of the strategy here, but if she takes back to last, that's probably not going to work tonight.
3 Third Race Entries
Picks: 3-2-1-5

1 SOUTHWIND PERCY Really had NO shot of tracking down the well-rated Jezzy last week, but she did hold her ground. Moves all the way inside here, as part of Nifty's pair. They're both okay! Either one could trip out and upset.
2 BIG WEEZY Simply sat second, right in front of her stablemate last week, and chased the winner. Wasn't asked for much, as they sprinted home, but she was good. Interesting tactical race here, if #3 trots. Might try get the jump.
3 SISTER'S PROMISE They took a big shot putting her in the Crown and it didn't work out on that very sloppy track. I think we can all forgive that. In last Kindergarten leg, she absolutely crushed. Patience needed, but she looks best. Trainer: Has a wealth of talent with a good finish. Scott will know her better this week.
4 HALLINTHECLOUDS Been just a tad below these top fillies so far. I'll give credit that she trots with no mistakes! That's a good thing. Maybe if she can follow #3 that would be good trip. Let's see if there's any more in the tank.
5 CAN'T TOUCH IT Chased that easy, well-rated winner last week with a very solid step in the right direction. That makes two straight good efforts behind heavily-favored winners. Tonight's problem is the post. Will she fire out?
6 SABRINA DEO Looks like the longshot in here, based on too many breaks. Still a "work in progress" as she gains experience. One of these days or nights, she'll show up solid.
4 Fourth Race Entries
Picks: 5-3-6-1

1 SURREALITY Basically got a "tour" of the oval last week to get used to the big track again. No problem. Now, she moves to the rail, so it's time to see what we've got! With the big fave being a closer, it's time to see some speed.
2 WHAT A FOX A little bit flat in her mile track try here last week. It's going to take a lot more than that, and she gets same post tonight. Dex liable to sit in with her tonight, and see how strong she can pace home. A maybe.
3 A BEACH COWGIRL She's been pretty good in all the stakes events so far. I loved the speed showed at both ends last week, so she continues to get better. Fits perfectly here, and will also try to move before the favorite does. Very usable.
4 UNDER THE HOOD Looks like the longshot of the group, having been no real threat in either leg. I don't anticipate her blasting in here, so expect an off-the-pace journey that might see her come up a bit short. Would be a surprise.
5 JK MARDI SAYS IF you want to take a stand against #6 for some reason, this may be your best option. BUT, she will have to be aggressive here. Once #6 starts pacing, she can fly. Mardi was perfectly rated last week. Needs that again.
6 MICHELON'S FILLY Have to admit, I didn't think she was going to get there two weeks ago, and then Marcus hit the gas pedal. She was gone! Very impressive kick on this long-striding filly here. Same tactics coming? Probably.
5 Fifth Race Entries

1 BIZET Off since the summer and two fair qualifiers on view. Have to feel he's going to need a start or two and then see if he's fast enough for these on the mile track. A maybe.
2 JACKIE NEWLANDS Finds her way to the big track for Team Harmon and it's not a terrible spot. Several other fillies in here. That last Pocono line is sneaky good. Her lone win came on a big track, so let's be positive and expect nice effort.
3 MASTER OF THE HILL We've seen his act here before, but it does not look like he's coming into the race in top shape. I'd need to see a good one again before I could endorse.
4 MATRONA Enters off a sick scratch and a subsequent break, so that's not good. There are a LOT of sick horses on the east coast right now, so be careful. I would imagine goal tonight is just to get her around there onstride. We'll see.
5 BIG CHECKMATE This is a filly that's hinted at ability before. Shows back up here in a new barn? Her qualifier wasn't bad. Let's see if she's ready to show that speed AND stay trotting. Don't be shocked if she does.
6 FLEUR DE HILL Looks like she's been overmatched a bit in those two recent stakes tries. This is back to the level where she raced well and won before. I'll take a good, long look at her on the track, but definitely one to beat.
7 GODSPELL HALL Burned a bit of money with that last miscue. Had eight hole at Yonkers before that. I do think he'll be better here on big track, but he does get stuck with another bad post. It's not going to be easy.
8 QUANTUM KEMP Yes, we can all see that amazing pedigree, but the colt has not lived up to that yet. Made moves in last two tries against NW3 type fields. Now gets stuck with terrible post. I'm probably going to pass, if price is short.
9 MS SPARTAN Another that looks like a longshot with these, especially from the post. Just a few too many miscues for my taste.
6 Sixth Race Entries
Picks: 3-4-1-8

1 MEMO Finally gets away from Seven Hills, who has impressed. Gets the key pole post against a favorite that shows a scratch. Maybe it's Memo's turn to win one? He's definitely been okay, and does have speed. Very usable.
2 WAYWARD MAN He's been okay so far, but not great. Best asset here is the post, since he's right between the favorites. Plots for a nice stalking trip no matter what and I suspect he will keep up. Only needs add a kick.
3 THUNDER Couldn't wait to watch Thunder on the mile track and he ended up scratching sick. They were even thinking of entering the Crown elims, had he done well. So, now what do we do, off for MORE than a month???
4 REIGN OF HONOR Note that he DID stay trotting last time, with the addition of hopples. And he had just enough sneaky trot to warrant an extra look. You know how this barn's starters can wake up. Maybe this is the spot?
5 GERRIS TRIX Tough to like a lot, coming off that break. Has a couple of good starts under belt, but doesn't look like the complete package yet. I'm willing to watch one tonight and see if he goes any better.
6 ALDEBARANWALKABOUT Wow! Almost pulled off the amazing upset last week, given a perfect drive by Marcus. That was huge step in the right direction for colt. Will get tested again from this tougher post. Will he stay trotting?
7 CAPTAIN KRUPNIK No match for these so far, and he moves back out to rougher post. Have to pass.
8 GALIXTON Of the Ake pair, this is the more accomplished right now. He flashed nice speed last week and kept up behind heavily-favored winner. I think we all know he's going to leave again, so get ready. Improving sort. Usable.
7 Seventh Race Entries

1 ODDS ON BOCA RATON Made a brief move at #3 last week, but that wasn't going to work into that pace. Things could be a little different in here, with more speed types. Likely to sit and stalk again. Needs bigger kick late.
2 MAC'S POWER Was super good in the first start for Camp Silva. Not quite as strong last week when used harder early. Okay. Still good experience and he'll be okay. Interested to see how DM races him tonight. Off the pace?
3 ESCAPETOTHEBEACH Eric A did a perfect job of rating this fella upon arrival. Seemed to have a bit left, measuring the wire. Also a good confidence boost for the colt, two in a row. May have to deal with more pressure tonight.
4 SOUTHWIND OZZI Gave it all he had, outmuscled by #2 two weeks ago. Took last week off. Finds himself back in against similar and he's the grinding type. Hoping that somehow, the faves mix it up. That can happen.
5 WESTERN EXPOSURE Everybody saw the finish on this debut-maker last week, so I wouldn't expect a tremendous price on the tote board. And, actually, this is much tougher spot. Will Andy Mac race from behind again? Perhaps.
6 CENTURY FERRARI Not in a good spot from this outside post, but hasn't been bad yet. Kicked in late in both legs, so that's a good thing. He's also hoping for a mix-it-up kind of race and it's possible. That would aid the rally.

1 SOUL STRONG Barn has three in here and Ake elected to drive #9. So, with this guy coming off the scratch, I guess It'd probably have to prefer the other ones. Would need a repeat of that sterling try two weeks ago.
2 GANGNAM STYLE K S Still gaining experience and trying to get faster. Not quite there just yet.
3 NO DRAMA PLEASE Looked awfully good when so well-rated by Andy two weeks ago. Then the scratch, so that always raises question marks. I have a feeling he may not be setting the pace here. Good spot to stalk and rally.
4 DIVINE SPIRIT Andy Mac had a tough choice here and opted for this guy over #5. Gelding was pretty good when he upset these two weeks ago, so give credit where due. A nice effort, considering the scratch and breaks. This good?
5 PILOT DISCRETION It's never easy to gauge a horse coming out of a Lex late closer into a stakes spot like this. Still, after a pretty slow start, that's a nice way to show up in real races. Tonight's the acid test for class. Has nice pedigree.
6 LUCKY WEEKEND Turned things around in a big way for his new barn last week! Solid speed at both ends of the mile and obviously, no mistakes this time. He could easily employ that speed to try and trip out behind #8. Might work.
7 DARTY After a series of decent efforts, he regressed into a miscue last week. That's not good, so I'll take a pass on this fella from the even tougher post tonight.
8 BATTENBERG Now what do we do here? Was sailing along in his usual spot on the lead two weeks ago when he broke. He hadn't made breaks before. Missed last week, so there are lingering question marks. Your call, folks.
9 REVE TOUJOURS Third of the Ake trio, and this is the one he will drive. Has also flashed good speed before, but if he leaves, it's right into the teeth of many others. Might be time to give this fella a race from the back.
9 Ninth Race Entries

1 TYPHOON Have to be careful here, folks, with the lone 2YO tackling a full field of older foes. Because of the connections, this filly might be an underlay on odds board. Plus,. she hasn't showed us that "winning habit" yet.
2 SILK REED That was a very good start here last week. Showed she was ready to handle the bigger size track. Now, gets a much better post, in a field full of question marks. I'd have a very tough time leaving her off the ticket.
3 AIRBORNE HANOVER One of the many possibilities, in this wide open race. Did a lot of the dirty work last week and didn't exactly stop. Any kind of smoother journey could upgrade chances. Will be coming from off pace again.
4 LULU DE VIE Just not going well enough right now. I didn't like her start last week, so I will pass on her again.
5 MS SETON Lots of experience in this corner, but not enough speed, I think. Have to rate her a longshot for now.
6 ASHLEE'S SPORT Just 1-23 so far, so that's not overly encouraging. She did race well here upon arrival last week, outfinishing her odds. That's not bad. Does move out to tougher post here, but I can make a case for a bit more.
7 MODESTY Gets the tepid call as favorite in this wide open affair. Burned a lot of cash with that break on the lead at Pocono, so maybe she needs a "big track?" The qualifier here was just fine. Exactly what they were looking for.
8 LILAC LAUREY Had several good start on the mile out in Illinois, so that's a plus. I'm willing to just toss her two Freehold races. Probably still needs to prove she can go faster, because this race will. Your call, folks.
9 BEST AMERICAN CHIC Al had her in a good spot in Big M debut and she just couldn't keep pace late. Sometimes, it takes a race to gain mile track stamina, but boy do I hate this bad post again. A real case of bad post blues here.
10 SOMEANGELSOMEWHERE A little bit flat here last time, but she had to need that race, right? This could be rare chance to get a big price on an Alagna horse. the post alone will help that. Pat B won two from outside last weekend.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 4-1-6-2

1 WATERWAY Got starched a little in her first go here last week. That can happen. She seemed to do her best racing from off the pace out in Kentucky. This rail post gives Brett many options. Seeking a little revenge on Melanie.
2 CUB FAN Ended up with that perfect trip behind Melanie last week and obviously was no match. Still, it was a good start for the Fan. I like the post relief and plot her for a stalking trip as well. If the trip is right again, she'll finish.
3 MOUNTAIN HIGH Barn's had a couple of sick horses in the recent past, so that worries me. It's just about three weeks off for this one, plus the ship back from Red Mile. Can he possibly be cranked and ready? Probably not.
4 MELANIE'S TEDY Shipped in and showed up sharp for K Mac right off the bat! That was impressive! Basically just steamrolled them completely in hand. Might get a bigger test here, but hard to ignore off that super win. Must use. Trainer: Very happy with his performance last week. Trained down like a nice colt. Trained very well this morning.
5 FLAMEPROOF HANOVER Looks like the longshot of the group, showing only one Tioga win this year. I didn't really see a whole lot from him upon arrival. Would need to see a lot more, before I could endorse.
6 NO ORDINARY MAN Easily the "key" to this race, because of the post. He shows one "leave" from seven hole at Pocono and I can't imagine him taking back to last here. Vic K knows him now, after good effort last week. Your call?
11 Eleventh Race Entries
Picks: 7-6-5-1

1 VERDI D EM It's always dangerous to ignore a new one into Team Harmon barn. I will note that Rob listed himself to drive, and then put up Marcus. Could we see huge wakeup call? I wish I knew!
2 JUST FOR YOU Another "barn-changer" just to keep us guessing. BUT, this mare hasn't raced in almost a month. I'll take the stand that she might need a start, so I'll be watching closely for future evaluation.
3 CROWN AFFAIR He's had a few "go's" here to get acclimated. This is the bottom level, so it's time to turn up the jets soon. Kyle has piloted conservatively twice and picked up checks. That's a good thing. Needs a bit more.
4 MAYFAIR JOHNNY B Took a TON of tote action upon arrival and showed very little. I expected gelding to race better than that, so I don't know what to expect now. Would need to keep up better, AND launch a kick.
5 HIGH BLUE Not bad in that last one, won easily by Pappy. Wasn't going to beat him that night. In all, that's a nice bounce back from that scratch of last month. Heading in the right direction, and they switch to Dave Miller now.
6 TWO HIP DIP I thought he would race a little better back on the big track, but the race clearly didn't set up for him. With the likes of speedy types in #7,8, it might be different here. Will surely pass a few in the lane now.
7 PRICELESSPOSSESION That was just an impossible spot for this fella last week and he showed me something by not quitting. THIS is now the spot, folks! I definitely prefer this guy over the unreliable #8. But, it's your decision, folks.
8 LAUDERDALE Yes, I watched that qualifier and saw the 8YO take a few of his patented bumpy steps late. SO, if he gets pressure at all, I think he's vulnerable. With that said, he has beaten me before. And he'll probably do it again.
9 RUN AND TELL PAP 11YO warhorse has been grinding it out on smaller tracks. This is just terrible post and spot for him tonight. Have to pass from out here and watch accordingly. Maybe next spot will be better.
10 NEW YORK ATTITUDE Clearly the longest of the longshots here, in current form, from dreaded post 10.
