Race 1

2-Iron Will – steady improving trend has led to back-to-back on-the-board finishes, 19-day layoff prior to his last, angled out of heavy traffic & was flying

8-Zuerest – beaten favorite was used early from a similar post, took heavy pressure & still closed willingly, back class resurfaces second try off the bench

1-Spectator K – bounced back in winning style given a perfect drive by Campbell, freshened up item lands the pole for the requisite step up from C-1

Race 2

8-Screen The Call – fewest starts among this group, finished up in :56.3 over the slop & makes his second start in over five months

7-Bestjetyet – was able to control a :57.2 middle half under no pressure & held on second time Lasix, there’s obvious upside here

3-Cee Pee Panic – was forced into a premature brush to the lead when favored in a much improved second start here for Burke

Race 3

6-Big Baller – fresh from an excellent acclimating mile in which he chased a fired up Chick N Tell, expect him to build on that in a wide-open field

5-B L Class Act – shipped in off a lifetime best of 1:55.2 at Harrah’s Philly & rallied to hit the board, dangerous with a strong speed target

2-King’s Cavalier – beat better than B L Class Act did at Harrah’s Philly back on 12-2 when he took a new mark, drops from A-2 & draws a much better post

Race 4

9-Ethan Hanover – love the way he almost got to a heavily favored One Through Ten with a :27.1 at both ends fresh off the claim

7-Holdingallthecards – has gone two-for-two here with relatively ease as the major danger in this series, tough to go against with his winning habit

4-Yankee Doodle Jim – there might be some talent lurking here, he certainly needed his first start here when he got shuffled behind Holdingallthecards

Race 5

4-Just Like Lloyd – great $20,000 claim by Rene Allard at Pocono rose to the winners over $25,000 level there & been tearing up smaller tracks

3-Blessed Victory – rock solid 9yo who can live all day on the outside, moves inside off the game grind, acclimating mile & switches to Dave Miller

5-Not Afraid – Dexter Cup winner at three came back in blowout fashion at Harrah’s Philly for Jimmy Takter, 33-day layoff is a legitimate concern

Race 6

3-In Mint Condition – Erv Miller take-back after a claim faltered twice at Harrah’s Philly, then qualified here with a :26.3, beat $25,000 types at Pocono & draws well

9-Dreamzzzz R For U – ended a season-long drought with a decisive upset on 12-29, followed up with a strong second to an uncatchable winner in Western  Tsunami

10-Elusive Reward – wired this kind in convincing fashion on 1-4, then simply went too fast against $25,000 stock, drops back down, but deals with post 10 again

Race 7

8-Tac’s Delight – well rested after 29 days off & draws outside, but on a major form spree, class, speed & versatility still makes him the one to beat

6-Unefoisdansmavie – goes for five in a row fresh off an eye-catching wire-to-wire

comeback at The Meadows, this Burke trained mare loves the Big M

7-Ice Machine – utilized his gate speed, and the keys were getting covered up & outmuscling the favorite Rose Run Hooligan, look for him to be firing out again

Race 8

2-Dragon Princess – almost got to the perfect-trip-sitting winner Here’s My Ticket from post 11, moves inside & has a history of success here

1-Miss Sand Creek – parked a long way in slop from post 9 after dropping from B-1 & now moves to the pole on an improving trend

6-Gordy’s Filly Yenta – stormed home from last in :27 to land in the photo with Here’s My Ticket, only 2 for 31 last year, but remains a threat with the right pace & trip

Race 9

2-Fountainbleau Volo – was raging with trot once clear of traffic as the beaten favorite, Horse & Groom Series champion last year is prime to show his class

9-Il Mago – got underway way too late in a much needed mile here, son of Kadabra flashed plenty of talent & speed as a 3yo

5-My Leap Of Faith – was under mild urging to go by after a live cover trip in the slop, his first win in two years & worthy of the step up to B-1

Race 10

4-Ole Miss – rallied stoutly in :27.2 off a rated pace & finished with lots left, Burke trainee draws a bit better & carries some back class

7-Reilly’s Daughter – paced a fairly strong back half with no chance in the slop, expect her to fire a bigger shot in her second start off the bench

9-Elleofnxample – that was some late charge in :26.4 to score on Opening Night, came right back with a nose loss in :27.2 at this B-1 level, post 9 makes it harder

Race 11

5-Vodka Is Terror – almost got there with a :27.3 surge first time Lasix & looms as a logical stalking threat

6-One Through Ten – steamrolled uncovered in the slop to make it two-for-two at the Big M for Nifty Norman, stands out as the one the beat

1-Mr Dennis – recently added Lasix & romped in 1:51.1 at Harrah’s Philly, just missed to Shaw’s Creek Buff in his debut here & draws inside that rival

Race 12

7-Autumn Magic – steps up off an easy win for C-1 with a :27.3, sharp, veteran mare carries some back class & rates the call to repeat

2-JoyfulJoy N – ran into a runaway Elleofnxample two starts back, then got parked & didn’t fade that badly, she’s eligible to trip out in this wide-open field

5-Real Ravishing – had no chance in her last two with a parked-out trip & was too far back from post 8 in most recent, a speed display would be no surprise
