Race 1

9-Church St Bloom R – Ohio bred rounding into form at The Meadows over off tracks there & joins the Burke Barn battalion

8-Where To Hanover – late-starting 4yo was a $30,000 yearling, went two-for-two in

December, and qualified energetically with hopples added

6-Bad Day Black Rock – son of Revenue S (Market Share) beat nonwinners of 3 typese at Harrah’s Philly & comes off a tough trip there

Race 2

7-Joyeux Dream – same sire as standout 2yo filly from 2012 True Day Dream got a little too aggressive last out at Dover, chance to take charge & ration his speed

5-Windsun Galliano – fresh from a sparkling debut for Team Orange Crush, parked uncovered & kept grinding down the favorite Good Sound Advice

6-Money Maven – 1 for 21 with nine seconds in Ontario, yet shows some strong rallies & debuts here for Chris Ryder

Race 3

7-Beachfront – from the great first crop of Somebeachsomewhere, flashed a hint of talent at two, won his qualifier with a controlled :26.4 sprint

3-Wilcox – solid :27 finish in his first qualifier in two months, sold for $110,000 as a yearling for a top flight trainer, draws well for Gingras

6-Rocky Mountain Guy – broke his maiden in a Reynolds Stake division here, finished behind Wilcox in the latest qualifier

Race 4

2-Volare De Vie – fired out with vigor & chase Helios with willing late trot, chance to turn the tables in another stalking mode

1-Helios – brushed & crushed in a visually impressive 4yo debut for Team Orange Crush, rewarded with the pole & logically moves forward

6-No Less Than Magic – very lightly raced 4yo launched a decent move from well off the pace, an excellent prep in his third try off the bench

Race 5

5-Cameron Chip – strong finish in sharp :27.2 in her qualifier after some freshening & returns at a reduced level

1-Sing Out – just 1 for 21 last year, but celebrated her first mile for Ray Schnittker with a perfect trip & winning rally, lands the pole in a  suspect field

6-The Triple Lindy – inspiring 12-14 comeback at Saratoga, then qualified with a solid finish & hasn’t seen the winner’s circle for a long time

Race 6

8-Get It Now – former sub 1:50 performer here returns after struggling at Woodbine & drops dangerously

3-Cane Ridge – steps back up to face a modest $15,000 field after regaining his winning edge at Harrah’s Philly for Team Burke

5-Wit And Wisdom – got parked in the slop at Yonkers & parked before that, shows a competitive line for this price at Pocono

Race 7

2-Lookinforagoodtime – went all the way over an off track at Harrah’s Philly, then had no chance, moves inside here & reunited with Bionic Man

3-Shayna Baby – put together a big back half of :56 and :27.1, second start off the bench from a better post

9-Cruise Queen – showed some improvement first time Lasix in much tougher nonwinners of 5 at Harrah’s Philly for Burke

Race 8

3-Demanding Force – joins the numerous new Burke Barn acquisitions, regained his form in two solid qualifiers at The Meadows & appears to stand out

7-JL’s Man Of Action – off a much needed start after missing a year off the claim, and finds a softer spot to return

6-Eagle Artesian – some back class here, had a couple of much needed qualifiers, and there’s not a whole lot to excited about in here

Race 9

5-Wisenheimer – I like the way her bounced back off a miscue with a strong qualifier here, note the lifetime best by nine lengths of Pocono back on 11-21

6-Explosive Fashion – beat nonwinners of three types at Harrah’s Philly, chased Where To Hanover in his qualifier, figures to be in a stocking role

9-Majestic Stone – got parked off a pedestrian half as the beaten favorite at Harrah’s Philly, continues to improve, while trying to overcome post nine

Race 10

4-Lizzie’s Dream – showed improvement chasing the favorite Smoke Pan Mirrors, veteran mare with a bit of back class remains inside for Tim Tetrick

3-Sad Story – stepped out there from post seven & finished well for third off two straight wins at Freehold, rates contender status off that effort

6-Carolstern – swooped the field to light up the board when the front end fell apart on Opening Night, makes her a major threat in this wide-open C-2 class
