RACE 1

5-Break The Deal – Got shuffled, angled out of heavy traffic, then offered some decent late pace in a beneficial acclimating mile after two straight wins & set for a midpack launch

 

3-Franschoek – All the way in her qualifier here off a sick scratch, returns to the Big M after two no-chance tightening miles, gets class & post relief, but was only one for 21 in 2020

 

7-That’s Incredible – Caught in a bad shuffle & recovered from a final turn miscue with a sharp :27.3 to gain the show in her Big M debut, tougher post here, but has something to build on

 

RACE 2

2-R Herbie Blue Chip – Lightly-raced 4YO qualified here with some vigor, came out of a shuffle to grab the show in his return on Lasix, draws post two again in an easy match up & poised to ramp it up for his new barn

 

1-He’s Explosive – 4YO making only his eighth career start, hit the board in two of his last three at Harrah’s Philadelphia, his latest a strong effort from post eight & lands the rail here

 

8-Light Blue Movers – Added trotting hopples & qualified with plenty here on 12-5, returns fresh off his first win @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, look for him to blast off from a tougher post

 

RACE 3

7-It Ain’t The Whiskey – Got nosed out here from post ten back on 11-27, runner up to the classy Melady’s Monet in an energetic qualifier & looms as a fresh threat

 

5-Dixie Slippers – She chased the next out winner King Alphonso in a solid qualifier off a sick scratch, may need one, but adds Andrew McCarthy & can launch a midpack stalking trip 

 

6-Namje – Like the way he kicked home to win his latest qualifier here, now makes his second start off the bench after missing three weeks, yet still eligible to step up

 

RACE 4

5-Joe’s Sign – Team Toscano 4YO has been aggressive & effective when able to avoid early miscues & exits stronger N/W 3 company @ Harrah’s Philadelphia

 

6-Krispy Ginger – Almost paid off with a perfect two-hole trip in N/W 3 @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, Always B Miki filly can duplicate that strategy here using her gate speed

 

3-The Double Deuce – Nancy Takter trainee could be ready for a bar fight off a pair of close seconds @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, hasn’t raced in a month, but draws well in a soft field

 

RACE 5

4-Always Mindy – Displayed sudden speed & just missed by a head in an aggressive mile last out, stormed home to hit the board before that, post again on the verge

 

1-Hottieonthehorizon – Dave Miller had her sprinting well after Juxta Cowgirl had already opend up, she now moves inside off an excellent acclimating mile

 

7-Milady Denver A – Drops back down a notch off three straight strong finishes, more demanding draw this time, but she figures to get something to shoot at in this competitive field

 

RACE 6

2-Winnerup – Switches to Team Burke & goes second time Lasix, three weeks off, but gets a big dose of class relief & draws inside again

 

1-Super Schissel – Came out of a shuffle for third two starts back, drops back down to that level & lands the rail to trip out for a sharp barn

 

9-Skyway Kon Man – Landing on the fringes against tougher recently, stuck outside, but gets an needed class drop for Team Cullipher, owns a big kick & reunited with Simon Allard

 

RACE 7

9-Gigfy – That was quite the turnaround when he dropped n popped with trot at both ends & took a new mark of 1:54.4, draws farther outside, but brimming with confidence

 

10-Inukchuk Chuck – Came right back fresh off a narrow loss to score the upset & took a new lifetime mark of 1:54.4, claimed back by Mike Watson & threat to repeat despite post ten

 

6-Esa – 1:54.4 winner at The Big M last season ramped up his game in December, forced wide from an impossible spot to grab second behind Manny L last out & draws a bit better

 

RACE 8

2-McMatters – Rallied for a new mark of 1:53.4 here back in mid-November, paced compromised chasing the red-hot Some Chapter again last out, gets class relief, post two once more & owns a big kick

 

1-Rock Of Cashel – Classy 11YO horse-for-the-course returns to The Big M off three straight seconds, now gets class & post relief & has big time trip potential

 

3-Godspell Hall – Blasted down the road for a sharp new mark of 1:52.4 two starts back, then broke, has missed a month, but draws inside again to rebound

 

RACE 9

1-Rose Run Victoria – OSS Super Final winner as a 3YO has hit the board in her last four starts since shipping south, this is a prime spot for her to trip out in a wide-open field

 

7-Dbldelitebrigade N – Qualified with plenty late & finished a solid third in her US debut, draws a tougher post, but drops dangerously with license to improve

 

5-Tango Dancer N – Was red-hot here in November & has paid the price for slow starts recently, draws a bit better & reunited with Dexter Dunn, expect a better effort

 

RACE 10

3-Some Chapter – Capped off 2020 with his tenth win in 14 starts, took a mark of 1:52.4 with a gutsy effort over an off track on 12-4, off three weeks, yet moves inside & stands out

 

6-Hill Of A Horse – Took a mark of 1:52 here last season, just missed by a neck in the Yonkers Open two starts, fresh off a solid third here & worth a long look

 

4-Max – Team Burke trainee took full advantage of an easier spot & rated all the way @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, draws inside here & has a chance to be forwardly placed

 

RACE 11

2-Get Legs – Late-blooming Muscle Hill 4YO undefeated four-for-four without breaking a sweat & learning his lessons well for Team Orange Crush, draws inside off a sterling rally

 

3-Beyond Ordinary – Fresh off a solid third to standout King Alphonso, consistent 4YO drops a notch & draws inside again 

 

5-Lazer Jet – Has been knocking on the door @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, fresh off a nose loss, been off almost a month, but owns tactical speed

 

RACE 12

7-Manhattan Play – Just one for 25 last year, but hinting on the fringes in her last three, strong final quarter in :27.2 for Team Cullipher & these are easier

 

3-Pretty Image – Offered some late pace for a piece after a slow start from post nine, now gets another shot at this bottom level from an improved post in a wide open field

 

8-Queen Josephine – Made a near ideal transition from Yonkers with a late-surging second by a neck in her Big M debut, tougher post here off an 0 for 19 season

 

RACE 13

5-Icingon De Cupcake – Picking up minor shares against tougher recently, drops dangerously & looms large as a midpack stalking threat

 

7-Resita – 1:52.3 winner @ The Big M last year, re-acclimating here, forced wide from an impossible spot with a crisp :27.2 & now drops a notch for Team Cullipher 

 

2-Explosive Ridge – Blowouts winner at the bottom level two starts back, a solid third on the bump up, draws inside again, strong form & in line for another smooth trip
