6-Caviart Lotus – Winless Team Takter-tuned colt starting to peak this Fall, third to Perfect Sting in :26.3 & second to Southwind Gendry in :25.2, Abuckabett Hanover broke in his face in the Breeders Crown, might on the verge
3-Always A Miki – Major stakes player advanced to the Breeders Crown final with a wicked :25.4, then caught out of position chasing the deadheat winners, sparks a Team Takter 1-2 stranglehold on this affair
7-Beachhead – Somebeachsomewhere brother to Sportswriter making only his fourth start after three months on the sidelines, stablemate to Party Girl Hill & Bettor’s Wish qualified with serious energy
RACE 3
3-Na Na Na Baatman – Was shuffled & forced to angle wide before soaring into second with a :27.2 last week, now draws better & retains our leading pilot … to the Bat Poles!
7-Major Jesse – Beaten heavy favorite was dropping positive hints before getting parked first over last week, same demanding post with a one for 33 record this year
1-Rockaholic – Was much better in his second start back here, closing from tenth to hit the board last week & moves inside a field of several beyond consideration
RACE 4
1-Apex Seelster – Was much better finishing a solid fourth in his Big M debut last week, moves inside & remains @ the same rock bottom level
9-Passa-Grille Beach – Huge disappointment with an ideal trip last week, 1:50.3 winner here this season continues his descent down the class ladder & moves outside
2-Thespywholovedme – 0 for 16 this season, did edge Apex Seelster for the show with a decent effort last week & lands post two again with Todd McCarthy
RACE 5
1-Solo Story – Got shuffled & buried in traffic, then angled wide before flying home in :26.1 to hit the board two weeks ago, live item for a sharp barn in line for another smooth trip within striking range
3-Dealer’s Table – Regained his winning form & confidence at the bottom level two starts back, then chased a well meant Bracken Storm A last week, draws inside again for Team Cullipher & the Big M’s leading pilot
7-Ginger Tree Marty – Steady Team Burke-tuned gelding with a 1:51 mark @ The Big M, ships in fresh off a pair of wake up blowouts @ Harrah’s Philadelphia & figures prominently despite a challenging post
RACE 6
5-Go West Go Fast – Has put together some strong back halves, yet slow starts have cost him in his last two, 1:50 winner here on 10-17 bumped up a notch, yet continues to knock on the door
9-Geez Joe – Sports a 1:48.1 mark @ The Big M, a Preferred player on his best day, struggled from outside posts in his last two, stuck outside again, but drops again & owns a wicked late move
1-Billy Badger N – Wasn’t heard from when he finished ninth here two starts back, then chased Southwind Ozzie in a 1:48.4 mile @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, draws inside back here with a chance to trip out & surprise
RACE 7
2-Notorious Pink – Consistent Team Alagna trainee finished a close third when favored over JK Alwaysbalady in her Breeders Crown elimination, then had no chance from post nine in that final, controlling speed with an inside draw here
10-JK Alwaysbalady – Breeders Crown elimination winner in 1:51 over a sloppy track & just missed in the final for Team Takter, tough draw for her Three Diamonds prep, but outclasses these
5-Blue Diamond Eyes – Leads the Team Burke trio in this one, won the KYSS Final in 1:51 & runner up in both Grand Circuit races @ The Red Mile, slow starts hurt her in the Breeders Crown events
RACE 8
8-Somebaddude – Avoided the late breaker Angers Bayama & charged home for second in :26.2 after the sick scratch & month off, tougher post here, but this horse-for-the-course drops dangerously
6-Bracken Storm A – Flipped from a lackluster acclimating mile to vicious winner in his second US start & went off as 2-1 favorite, bumped up to face a very competitive field, yet there’s more in the tank
1-Rockin The Aces – Uncorked a menacing late move & almost lit up the board last week, 1:49.4 performer here this season stays inside for his second start under Bruce Saunders & retains Brian Sears
RACE 9
4-Rock The Devil – 1:49 winner @ The Big M on 9-26 brushed a bit too boldly & faded to fourth last week, yet now gets class & post relief off that positive display of speed
3-Palomar – 1:48.4 performer here this season put it all together with a late power surge as the heavy favorite last week, rewarded with an improved post for the class hike
6-Odds On Lauderdale – Team Alagna trainee got parked in a torrid pace last out, three weeks on the sidelines, yet sports a 1:49.1 mark here in 2019 & drops again
RACE 10
7-Filibuster Hanover – Team Burke trainee was a Sam McKee consolation winner on Hambo Day, has slugged it out with the sport’s top heavyweights, fifth in the Allerage Farms & Breeders Crown, could surprise in this TVG tune up
9-Ana Afreet N – Finally moves outside after winning three of his last four in sub 1:50 fashion, took a mark of 1:48.3 on 10-10, nailed it in 1:48.4 last week, gate speed can overcome post nine
4-Wes Delight – Dropped back to a winning level & parlayed a perfect second over trip for the mild upset last week, back half in :53.4, draws inside again & faces viciously competitive field
RACE 11
4-Love The Blues N – Hit the board against much tougher with a patient trip two starts back & chased another sub 1:50 winner last week, 1:50.3 winner here this season drops again & draws better
3-Ollie’s Z Tam – Horse-for-the-course a question mark after flashing his sudden speed & folded eighth last week, now gets further class & post relief for Team Burke
1-Franco Tristan N – Forced wide & bumped into a dropping heavy favorite Dealer’s Table two weeks ago, bumped back up in class, yet back on the rail to set up another ideal stalking trip
RACE 12
6-Save Me A Dance – Took advantage of the dazzling :52.3 half to finish a close fourth in the Breeders Crown Final, took a mark of 1:51.1 here this season & stands out
8-Put To Right – Arrives in peak form for Team Alagna, sparked by two straight blowouts @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, then chased a 1:48.4 Southwind Ozzie last time
5-Aces Rock – Still have to shake my head after he fought off fierce pressure & still drew clear in a mind boggling 1:50.2 repeat two weeks ago, this is a serious test
RACE 13
7-Imageofarocker – 1:52 winner @ The Big M in 2020 crushed them two starts back, then rallied for second with a back half of :54.2, big threat with the right set up
9-Shattered Glass – Peaked in time to romp in both Fall Harvest miles, blew them away & took a mark of 1:51.3, then cruised in 1:51.4, that’s enough to overcome post nine
4-Mr Mcdreamy – Recent claim bounced back & grinded gamely to be runner up to longshot S Mckee last week, draws better & banks on a faster speed target
