RACE 1

3-Soho Wallstreet A – Rallied to hit the board into a stern :53.1 back half in last week’s Preferred, two game narrow losses before that, logical main threat here

2-Rainbow Romance N – Arrives looking to shine up some dull form, not much chance & pace compromised in several recently, draws well to make a quick adjustment to the mile track

1-Sweet Rock – Forced into a first over grind & settled for fourth again last week, drops from the Preferred, lands the pole again as a prime opportunist

RACE 2

3-Transitioning Joy – Was nosed out against tougher here back on 4-7, returns fresh off a decisive post seven score @ Harrington, draws well & stands out here for Team Teague

6-Rock On Line – Set a solid pace & faded to fourth when the mud was taking it’s toll, two previous on-the-board finishes make him a contender in this match up

7-Rootin Tootin – Five for 11 as a freshman & took a sharp mark of 1:51.2 @ Vernon Downs, so talent & potential are there, yet not sure how to gauge his readiness off a nondescript qualifier

RACE 3

6-Sagebrush Sid – Liked the way he acclimated & thundered home to hit the board, even though he had a tailor made set up, seeking another lively flow & possible upset

5-JK Will Power – Grinded gamely through a fast pace in the slop & held for a gallant second last week, gets another big shot with a better trip at this reduced level

4-Bupa Brusier – The roan has caught fire since taking a mark of 1:51 in a G Notes Final, closed stoutly off live cover into a :54.2 back half to hit the board last week, price play in a tight match up

RACE 4

4-Brigadierbronski A – Aussie import lived up to his tote hype when he just missed in his US debut, draws well to follow up off a sick scratch, which may make him an iffy proposition

3-Rocknroll Wildcats – Soundly defeated this kind in a career best 1:51 back on March 9, returns to the Big M with class & post relief for Team Burke

2-Century Churchill – Looking to snap an 0 for 13 skid this season, chased the likes of Barimah A back in March & returns in a much softer spot

RACE 5

5-Decoy – Dam is a sister to See You At Peelers, 1:49.2 [$1,573,260], flashed some talent in a brief freshman season, late burst to win a 1:51.2 qualifier indicates readiness for Team Takter

6-Twin B Tuffenuff – Grand Circuit stakes player at two displayed energy in both qualifiers here, yet another demanding draw & his one for 12 record are concerns

1-Super Freekeh – Like his stablemate he finished a solid third in his second start off the bench, draws better heading in the right direction & you get two for the price of one

RACE 6

2-Filibuster Hanover – Last year’s Jug winner erupted with a vicious :25.2 final quarter in a dazzling 1:49.3 qualifier & draws inside for Burke Brigade comebacker

9-Highalator – Made it three-for-three on Lasix with an eye-catching brush & held off the favorite Western Joe, moves outside, yet remains a huge threat off that new mark of 1:49

10-Western Joe – Preferred star this season fought back bravely to just miss in his last two, faces a stern test from post ten, but has the talent, speed & liking for the Big M to overcome

RACE 7

12-Hannelore Hanover – 2017 Horse of the Year & fastest female trotter in history looks more than ready fresh off another sensational season for Team Burke, first female to beat the boys in the Breeders Crown since Moni Maker in 1998, a great horse can overcome post 12

6-Crazy Wow – One of four Team Burke entrants, 2017 Breeders Crown runner up to Hannalore Hanover shot up the cones to win his seasonal debut last week & looms large, second to Resolve in last year’s Cutler

3-Sutton – Added trotting hopples & cruised in the last two Shiaway St Pat miles & lowered his mark to 1:51.3, continues comeback with inside draw in a stellar field, Team Orange Crush won this with Lucky Jim & Sevruga

RACE 8

6-Iwillmakeyousaywow – Was able to drop n pop with an easy wire-to-wire cruise control & overdue score from post eight in the slop last week, figures to blast off brimming with confidence

5-Ghost Pine – I have no idea where that sudden eruption came from last week, Wow! is just about all you can say, if he continues to conjure up more of his back class any semblance of that 1:49.4 blowout would leave these gasping

8-Drunk On Your Love – Dropped all the way down to this bottom level & delivered a decisive knockout punch of :26.4, will look to rally from a tougher post & bank on some mayhem up front

RACE 9

7-Lawrencetown Beach – Did well to finish third to the likes of Highalator & Western Joe last week, game winner in 1:51 before that lands a softer, wide-open division for Team Burke

9-Daiymir – Just missed with strong finishes in both starts here last month, returns fresh off another narrow loss @ Harrington, will look to rally from a tough post for Team Teague

8-Rock N Tony – The other Burke trainee in here finished a distant second to stablemate Filibuster Hanover in that wicked 1:49.3 qualifier, note the big rally for third to Downbytheseaside in the Monument Circle last Fall

RACE 10

3-Daylyn Horizon – 1:51.2 winner here last season finished a solid third in his second start off the bench, then ran into the runaway Ghost Pine last week, draws inside a weak field to rebound

6-Billy Button – Back on the mile track where he finished a very good third against $10,000 stock here on 4-13, any semblance of that mile makes him a threat in this wide-open match up

2-Whata Twist – 0 for his last 39, a tad overmatched in a G Notes division last week, gets further class relief & draws well to set up a stalking trip

RACE 11

6-JoJo Jove – Has raced deceptively well in his last two, took a mark of 1:51.3 here in the slop this season & was a game winner in 1:51.4 on 4-7, drops a notch & that might be enough

3-Rockin The House – Another drop down candidate also draws a better post, solid second from post nine against N/W $8,500 types back on 4-7 retains top pilot Jim Marohn, Jr.

4-Andwin Hanover – Draws inside again fresh off the shocking upset in the slop last week, remains at the same level & another stalking trip is imminent
